The Bachelor Season 19 Chris - Prince Farming NO SPOILERS

I know people don't want spoilers in this thread, and I will avoid them. But, a general question. Those of you who don't do the "spoiler" thing, do you ever google the names of the contestants? You can avoid spoilers and still learn some very, eh, interesting things about some of the contestants. They may not be exactly as they are portrayed on the show. Poetic license is taken by the producers. LOL (Big surprise...NOT!)

I don't think I'm giving anything away to say that they are easy to find on Reality Steve.

Different strokes for different folks. I watch this series for fun, and because it's SOOOOO ridiculous. I find it MORE fun (not less) to know the spoilers because I can see how absurdly the producers are manipulating the contestants AND the audience. Makes me laugh.

I'm never surprised when the relationships don't last (as most don't). More surprising to me is when they do. LOL.

No I don't Google the contestants names as many thread titles when you Google someone often give spoilers in the titles.

Someone posted an article yesterday on a former contestant getting married. I didn't even click on that as there have been times in the past where a spoiler might not be in the particular article they are linking to. BUT, in a column off to the side, or some other link on the page, they clearly list a spoiler. This show is notorious for leaking spoilers.

You've posted THREE posts now about spoilers and how fun you find spoilers and where to find spoilers, so it's obvious you do want to talk about spoilers for this show. You are free to start another thread with the thread title clearly stating it is a Bachelor Spoiler thread. Someone else used to do that and she used to get like 3 posts and maybe 10 views total. We have all collectively agreed on THIS thread that we do NOT want spoilers here.

Please also be aware that many people accidentally mouse over threads and would be accidentally spoiled if you post a spoiler in your first post on another thread, within the first 15-ish lines.

I don't care enough to start another thread. LOL. I was just curious about what those who don't do spoilers do....whether they google contestants or not. Thank you for answering that question. Everyone knows spoilers are out there. Acknowledging that is spoiling nothing.

I am very, very careful NOT to do spoilers here. Nothing I have posted gives anything away about any contestant. I love following along with this thread and seeing how people who don't know spoilers view what is being presented.

No, I don't google the contestants unless I'm ok with being spoiled. I made that mistake twice and was disappointed.

Okay, was barely watching at times so I missed the stripping or whatever it was but regardless I don't get Britt's talk to Chris, which I did see. If the boy likes Kaitlyn, he likes her. I found Britt annoying and off with all that. Just me. I'm still trying to figure out if I missed something.

And I'm still waiting for a girl to go home on their own because she doesn't feel a connection at all. Has that happened in the past?

Oh wait Sharleen did that, right? The opera singer with Juan Pablo. Is she the only one who went home solely because she felt no connection?

It was pretty benign.
One girl took off her top and jumped in the lake, but kept her back to everyone.
Then Kaitlyn took off her bottoms. So basically just mooned Chris.

I seem to recall at least 2 of the girls bailing early on during Aaron Buerge's season. They saw how so many of the other girls were obsessed with him, so they backed out.

The opera singer has an excellent recap blog about the show....NO spoilers. It's called "All the Pretty Pandas"....look for the recap section. They are really funny, plus she does commentary from her perspective as a former contestant about the way the show is edited. She is really good at pointing out how things are strung together out of sequence. And, she nails the fashions chosen by the various contestants.

The love/sex guru thing was just plain weird. Thank goodness Carly spoke up and said she was uncomfortable. *I* was uncomfortable loooooong before that just watching it! Yuk!

We all figured Onion girl was a plant by the producers. But it looks like they kept Kelsey under wraps; maybe they told Kelsey to play nice until onion girl was gone and then she could let the crazy out. Holy cow! The way she was calmly talking during the interviews: "So that's my story; my tragic tale. Isn't it tragic?" No emotion at all. C'mon honey, if your husband died just 18 months earlier, wouldn't you still be a little upset? I know people work through their grief at different rates, but still.......
