I bought a spiral bound notebook with cardstick pages and stuck the images in - Kate (Julia and Nicks Mom) takes her pages on a clipboard around the park and then scraps the autographs and photos after. I think I like that idea better than sticking in a book beforehand but it worked for me

Where do you get a "cardstick" album, and did you print them on cardstock and then transfer to your album? I am clueless about all things crafty, but I love this idea Do you think they would have what i need at Michael's?

If you go to the top of the Creative DISigns forum, there is a sticky called Design Tips. It lists sites to get fonts, graphics, etc. There is lots of useful information in there. Hope this helps.

ps, we're using 5x7 sketchbooks. the paper is very sturdy and the book is small enough to carry around and not really be in the way.

The book itself is 6 x 4-1/2. The pages inside for actual character signing is 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. My daughter has an official one she bought two years ago (and also used last year) that I measured for you.

Hi, I am brand new to the disboards and saw all of your AWESOME Autograph book pages. I am not super literate when it comes to computers and I am a full time mom as well as have a full time job so I don't have lots of time to do stuff on here. We are taking our 3 kids to DW for the first time in September and wanted to try and do something special like these wonderful pages. I was just wondering if you could give me some info on how to do these, or if you share your pages, or personalize them for others? I can tell that you all worked very hard on these, so I by no means want to take away from that, I am just very interested and truly don't know where to begin. I also saw lots of people on here that have photo borders, again I have a digital camera but have no idea where to go with that. Any help that you can give would truly be appreciated. Since I don't get much computer time with work and the kids I figure I better get started now since we only have 3 months before we go. I appreciate your time.

Thanks for this idea. I'm going for my 21st birthday, so I'll be doing this. I cut 12x12 cardstock down to 6x6 and will be binding it myself, with a tool I just bought.

I have over 100 pages that that are saved without the kids names or the year. They are all 8 x 8 and cannot be resized to 5 x 7 without a lot of work. You could print them as 4 x 4 or 6 x 6 with your own photo software to resize. If you want the files PM me your email address and I'll send you the zip files.

I wanted to let you all know an observation that I noticed between my 4x6 pages and my 6x6 pages

Julia got a LOT of personal messages from the characters and princess kisses when we used the 6x6 pages

when we had hte 4x6 pages = she hardly got any - if any at all!

when making designs for your autograph pages - I would consider not having any sort of border or space that designates a signing area - the more space they have the more creative the characters will be in their signatures

I have been trying to copy your book on the Mac page. I am new at this! I downloaded the Waltograph font but don't know how to make the "page" 6x6, as you suggested. Is there a template or something? Or am I totally doing something wrong? Any and all help much appreciated! Your book is fabulous!
