The Attic

I have had my heart set on using the Attic. However I have been told that it only seats 36. My parents just went to IL and visited my dad's family and now I am sure that alot more ppl are coming down than we originally suspected. (Happy that they want to come for sure so don't take this wrong....) But now was are looking about probably 45-50 for the reception!!

Has anyone used the Attic with this number (they say capacity is 50....)??? I really really want to use it but this might make it out of the question!!

We used the Attic for our rehearsal/welcome dinner and had right around 50 people. The space was fine for us, but some of our guests did have to utilize the couches and coffee tables to eat. It wasn't a big deal because it was a laid back dinner. However, you might want to keep that in mind if you want the space for a reception because some of your guests may not appreciate not sitting at an actual table. Just a thought!
