****The April 2015 thread**** come check in and chat!

We're going to be at DLR from 4/11-4/16. Not a first trip for any of us, but I'm really hoping that dd age 3 will like it a bit better than last time (when she was 18 months). She hated all the characters...And even at Christmas this year she was scared of Santa. Hysterical scared.

We're staying at worldmark, and haven't decided which 3 days we're going yet. We might add a day. This had started as a cheerleading trip, but the team isn't going...so sad we already booked our tickets--now more time for having fun! :)

It's going to be me, my husband, our 3 kids (boy 13, girl 11, girl 3), and my mil and fil.

WAHOO! April 18th thru 26th here! Gonna be there for my birthday and I am so excited! Taking our 8 year old son for first visit. Husband hasn't been in 30 years, and I haven't been in 22 years. We are staying at the HoJo.

Anyone have thoughts on temps during mid April? I really want to wear shorts!

Unless there is rain I would say shorts weather for sure. We were wearing shorts last weekend and even in December I think someone in our party busted out capris! It gets hot standing in line so even mid 70s feels warm.

Hi! I will be in Disneyland the week after Easter.

Just a heads up for you all, I went to book my Fantasmic package today for Thursday 9th and noticed that they are not offering the packages on Mon, Tues or Weds of that week… I would guess that this means they are not showing Fantasmic these nights?! I know when I went the same time last year it was twice nightly so I expected it to be the same this year so some of you might be thinking similar.

I called today to ask about this because packages are now available out to the 12th but still not the 6th, 7th or 8th. I had been planning on the 7th but really any day that week works for us. I was told by the CM on the phone that Fantastmic would be dark those three days but she didn't say why. I booked for the 9th. Just a heads up for people going that week - the other days may book up quicker with 3 of them unavailable.

Our thread has been kinda quiet lately, hope everyone is doing well! This winter has really been a doozy for some people!

We've got 61 days until we leave and it can't come soon enough! :tinker:

We're taking one day out of our FL Keys/Universal trip to check out all the changes at MK since our last visit in 2010. We'll be there 4/24. Really love the atmosphere of Main St and have missed Disney since my DD12 became more interested in Harry Potter and thrill rides than Mickey and Princesses. Hoping I can rekindle that Disney magic and stir up enough enthusiasm to warrant a December 2015 all WDW trip as we've never been at Christmastime. Can't wait to get away from all this snow (we're about 5 miles north of Boston).

For the first time I just counted my days and I'm at 67 days to go. Before I've just been counting down the months. Now I can countdown the days. So excited! And I'm much more excited than the DD (2) and DS (5). I need enough posts now so I can change my signature and add an official countdown :)

Today makes 67 to go for us as well! And im more excited then my 2 and 3 years old as well. Must be a mom thing!

I think we picked a great time to go. Oh I definitely think it might be a mom thing. My husband doesn't seem to care much about the trip but I'm almost sad for the trip to end just because I don't want to stop the planning of it!

We are going April 19-23rd! Our APs expire Apr 29 so this will probably be our last trip for awhile but who knows??
We've stayed far off site and shuttled in our last few trips but we've decided to stay across the street this time so I'm very excited to just walk instead of driving and getting on buses!
We also originally planned to leave the 22nd but decided to add on one more day which I'm so glad because I feel like we can just relax and take it all in that way.

If I counted correctly, we are 44 days out! I cannot wait!!

I'm another in the excited mom club. My daughter and I are super Disney fans, but my husband couldn't care less. He'll go once in a while to enjoy it with my daughter, but that's about it. So, she and I are taking a couple of trips by ourselves. :)

I just made our reservations for the Carthay Circle Restaurant World of Color package today! We're only going for one day, and only hitting CA this trip. In 2014 we visited DL Park twice and I've been jonesing to get back to CA. My daughter is Frozen NUTS so we're definitely going to hit that up. Feels weird not booking a hotel but June 2014 had us for 9 days in Walt Disney World, August a day in Disneyland and September another day and night in Disneyland plus the Fantasmic! Dessert package so a hotel this time out is not in the budget.

Time to get myself in shape. Put on some weight over the holidays + before then too. 58 days here. Hmmm. Wonder what kind of lbs I can shed in 58 days. Operation Disneyland Diet. Here I go.

I've been trying to get in shape for all the walking we're going to do!

There is SO MUCH walking at DL. The last time we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel I glanced in the window at the fitness center and saw some lady on a treadmill. I was baffled. Really? She didn't do enough walking during the day? Maybe she was at a convention or something. Even so, I would much rather walk around Disneyland than hit a treadmill! (The weather was warm but not hot.)

Doing a treadmill workout at Disney is crazy, just go out and walk the parks!!

I really want to go the week of April 12 for a few days. We have annual passes this year and the kids will be off track from school for three weeks right then. Hoping for the Tropicana but we haven't made reservations yet. I'm waiting until the next billing cycle on my Visa starts to do that in a couple of days. We've already been last August and October and then we did WDW and a Disney Cruise in January so you'd think we'd be Disneyed out. But I've been working on my scrapbook this week from our August and October trips and it just makes me want to go back all the more!

I have not read through this whole thread so I probably missed this somewhere already. Tell me more about the Star Wars Celebration. Is it something we should plan around? (Either going to it or avoiding the area because it is full of crazy fans?)

I tracked my steps and on our October Trip I logged over 32K steps in one day. The most steps I ever logged at WDW was our Epcot day at 25K. Maybe she was training for a race or something and needed to get a "run" in? Otherwise, it would be baffling.
