We are going to be there April 6-10 to celebrate my 40th Birthday!!! It will be myself, DH and two daughters staying at the DLH. Our oldest in going to be on her 8th grade trip to DC and NYC and I am really going to miss having her along. She and I have been to DLR together for her 10th birthday but it will be the first trip for the rest of the family and I can't wait to be there with them! I am totally going to be wearing a birthday button around the parks which I am sure is going to embarrass my girls I am a little bummed that it looks like the castle is going to be under wraps still but I guess that just means we will have to go back some other time!

Does anybody know if the parades/shows in the weeks prior to the 60th celebration (May 22) will be down or affected in order to prepare the new shows? We will be there April 30-May 4 and would hate to miss out. We didn't get to see the fireworks or parades last visit (which was our first visit as a family so the kids have never seem them).

Going April 21-25 with some wonderful ladies (6 of us to be exact!) Celebrating my friends second wedding by having her "bachelorette " party in Disney! We are thinking of doing a scavenger hunt one of the days. Any thoughts/suggestions would be super helpful!

Then , sunday 26th , monday 27th and tuesday 28th at the parks with hooper park tickets. I read very good news that it is pretty sure that we will be able to see the castle

I read that in the march check in thread. Someone has email and called Disneyland several times, and the response is the same : March 3rd it will be uncovered .

We're going 27th-30th for the Spouse Thingy's birthday. First time staying off site, too...and hoping we don't regret it. My back is really picky about the beds I sleep in.

Our trip is April 27th-May 2nd. Anyone have idea of what the weather is usually like? We have never been to California so not exactly sure what to expect and how to pack.

We usually go early April and some years its been warm enough for me to wear a T Shirt.. we are from Washington.. and other years it has rained.. not a lot , but cold enough for me to buy gloves and wool hat..
Now saying that............. my family are completely opposite to me . and will walk around in shorts and Tees in the middler of winter.. crazy people..

We layer our clothing. . can be warm in the day time and cooler during the evening..

that's snarky 14 yr olds for you. Im 46 and I believe I will never be too old... maybe one day too sick, or too immobile , but NEVER too old..

Sorry I've been a little MIA from our April community ever since they did the update I've had a hard time getting used to the new feel of the boards.
