This morning we were all depressed because we knew that tomorrow was our last day. We had tried to figure out how we could stay a couple more days, but the airlines would penalize us & family was expecting us, so we got over it & lived for the moment. Today we went to AK. Got there later than normal, like 10:00. It was a very hot day & Sparky was not in the mood to be hot. And when Sparky isn't happy, nobody's happy. Anybody have that kind of kid. Anyway, we were able to take the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch & see Stanley & Pocahontas. We also were able to do the Safari & Kali. Is it my imagination, or did they do away with one of the drops on Kali. Last time, we got drenched & this time practically nothing. I got to ride Dinosaur with no FP & see Tarzan, my favorite show of all the parks. Princess got to play in Boneyard which is her favorite. The craziest thing that needs to change is the heighth requirement for Primeval Whirl. Take it out of that Chester & Hester part of the park if a 6 year old can't ride it. She can ride Mission Space, Test Track & Tower of Terror, but she can't ride that? End of rant. Finally, we got to see the parade which I think is better than the one at MK. So much fun! The music reminds me of Tapestry of Dreams/Nations. Boo hoo, I miss that! Anyway, we were able to get last minute autographs from Stitch & Flick. And we got to see the last show of Pocahontas. Crabby Sparky left us before the parade & went back to the resort. He just wasn't into it today. Oh ya, & we also got to eat at Tusker House again, which we think is the best kept secret. DH had the grilled salmon, I had the chicken, Sparky had a chicken sandwich, & Princess had PB&J. We took advantage of that $11.99 deal with the coupons & thought it was well worth it. When we all got back to the room, we changed into our bathing suits & hung out at the pool all evening. We had cocktails at the Banana Cabana, ate dinner from the food court, & just enjoyed the evening. Tomorrow last day & MGM.

Sounds like you had a great time. I agree with you about Primeval Whirl. It doesn't make sense. The last day is always tuff for me. I can never completely enjoy the last day because it is always hanging over my shoulder. I always try to counter balance those feelings by planning my next trip as soon as I get home. :D

Primeval Whirl gets a thumbs down!

When we were there last December, it was the longest line we stood in, with NO theming! I felt like it was a ride on the boardwalk. I wouldn't wait for it again.

Wonderful trip report ~ Thanx for sharing!!!
