I'm really interested in seeing this. I heard the show is about 20 to 25 minutes. How long do you usually wait for this? Is there a schedule of performances?

There is a schedule of performances. It's the one thing I never miss in the World Showcase. It's a nice break when you need that simple 30 minutes of down time.

I found this show to be hands down the most boring attraction at WDW....and it had to be much worse for the kids. They all wanted to go back to the room when it was over.

I love the American Adventure---- Its the story of America and the struggles of the past. GREAT SHOW!!! IT is definitely not boring!!!

The first time I saw this show, I was really impressed. I thought the animatronics were really the best I had seen (up to that point in my life).

I felt the same way about Abe Lincoln the first time I saw him at DisneyLand (I think it was the first thing we saw the first time I went).

However, I am glad that the American Adventure show is not more popular because I hate waiting in line.

It is a moving, beautiful show. I get teary eyed when they show the montage of famous Americans. My kids have always enjoyed it too, but then we are American History buffs. The singers in the pre-show are also fantastic! I can't understand why some people feel that anything the least little bit educational is boring :confused3 .

It is a great, moving show. People who aren't into history at all, or are bored by "educational" rides may not like it as much (although the props/animatronics alone should keep most people's attention), but I love it.

I love this show. I think the animatronics are exceptional. My DH and my DM like to refer to it as "NAP TIME" though....

Definitely this is a "must see" for me! The singers are absolutely the highlight as far as I'm concerned, not to mention the "fife and drum corps" outside the building. The show inside is cool but it's the musical entertainment that really does it for me...I could listen to them all day! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

my favorite show at wdw. check my website for loads of photos from the AA. if you look at the show from an imagineering perspective, its awesome. the history of the county is a bit sanitized, but the show is incredible and worth seeing. you owe it to yourself to see it at least once, then make your own determination. i once watched it back to back to back, spending 90 mins inside. 5 stars

Has AA been changed from 2004? If not, then I didn't like it.

This, and the Hall of Presidents in the MK, are two of my favorites. Boring, never, WDW is not to us just an amusement park but an educational place with lots to see, feel and sense and the AA is one of the best put on shows about the American struggle with exceptional automatronics on [roperty. They post the show times, and once you file into the main theater, you can enjoy some great singing voices then into the main theater where its huge, accommadates tons of people and relax to a great preformance into american history. Never miss this attraction in all our visits.

I was one of these people who have been to EPCOT many times and have never seen this show. I made it a point to see it two years ago and it was very good. However, I saw it when Illuminations was going on. I missed illuminations. The show is good but not good enough to miss their night time spectacular.

However, it was a good show. I'm glad I saw it.

My DW and I love the American Adventure. I will admit that I have dozed off a few times on a really hot day (you get in the dark theater with the air conditioning, and well, what can I say?), but it is definitely one of our favorite attractions in Epcot.
As others have said, Voices of Liberty performs the "pre-show" in the atrium of the building and they are not to be missed. Many times, we head to the American pavilion just to hear them sing.

We love this show! It really makes you feel good about your country and the greatness of it and it's people. Both my kids like it alot. In fact my 5 yr old remembered things from it a year after the fact. I don't remember what it was but something came on TV and he said "they talked about that at Disney in the Philadelphia building!" I would never miss it.

We did this for the first time last trip because my DH was in an ECV and we couldn't do most of our usual stuff. We got lucky since it was starting in a few minutes from when we got there. They let us go in first since he was in an ECV - we went up in an elevator to the 2nd floor. The Voices of Liberty singers where singing when we got there so we were able to look down and watch them finish. Then we were escorted to the back row where the ECV's park. Normally the people on ECV's swivel the seat and can see the show right on but of course the one we got for my DH wouldn't swivel so he was kinda miserable. But I thought the show was good and the animatronics are awesome. I feel it should seen at least once by everyone.

I love this show. I find the Hall of Prez. to be a major snoozefest. I don't think AA is anything like HoP. It is a very moving story of American history, and one of the narrators is my favorite author of all time, Mark Twain. The other narrator is the great inventor, statesman and philanderer, Ben Franklin. I get misty at a few points during the show, but the "air wave" at the end broke me out of that last time.

My favorite part is the "One Wore Blue and One Wore Gray" (or is that part of the HoP?) Either way, we're definitely doing these again this year because we started our American History curriculum last spring and this will be a great supplement. My kids have never complained that it's boring in the past (they know better than to complain that they're bored) and I think they'll better appreciate the attraction now that they've learned about it. We also love the Voices of Liberty and always make sure they're singing before we head to the AA.

Love it love it love it!! We made a special trip to Epcot in 2003 just to see it! My kids have loved it form the get go. THey were 10 and 7 the first time they saw it and loved it then. They are now 14 and 10 and as we plan our trip for January both of them have it on their list. They seem to like all the stuff - some educational but at the same DD14 loves the thrill rides. I am proud of them for being so open to things and they are both becoming very outspoken about their love of this great country of ours.
