Glad Freddy and Kendra won, glad momma's boy lost.

Bummer that Kris and Jon got caught at the RR crossing.

You can hear the bells while Freddy and Kendra were speaking after their win....so it looks like that net 5 minute pad was enough for victory.

WHY WHY WHY ???? Why would Kris and Jon not double check that the AA flight was in fact the earliest flight? It's the last leg of the race - why not check??? Urrggh - Kendra is just awful. "a match made in heaven" - ignorance matched with what exactly??? The only thing that makes me feel better is the preview for the new season in 3 weeks - it looks good.

I am so ready for the next season. As annoying as Rob & Amber can be, they are annoyingly funny. The previews look great.

As far as tonight's winners, it could have been worse. But I was hoping their cab driver wouldnt figure out where that park was in time.

The producers sure planned this out pretty well. That had to be a Sunday morning in Chicago. There is no way that was a weekday or even a Saturday. Had it been a weekday, Michigan Ave would have been crawling with cars and people, they most definitely would have been spotted.

It's going to be fun to see how Rob and Amber's relationship has held up in the real world. I loved Rob on Survivor - even though he's an egocentric *ss, he's fun to watch.

I should have put money on it. I just knew they were going to win. I'm so bummed for Kris and Jon. I can't believe they didn't check for flights in Honolulu. They didn't even ask the people at American, what's up with that. I really hope Hayden and Aaron aren't the next couple to get married on TV.

But it didn't really matter what flight J&K were on into Chicago because they were on the same subway train into the city. Their mistake was stopping to look at the map and then going away from Michigan ave to get a cab. There are TONS of cabs on Michigan ave and the Water Tower is on Michigan Ave. They walked off of the main road to look for cabs. That could have been the 5 minute difference.

Yes, Kris did ask the American ticket agent. She said something like "this is the earliest flight in the whole airport, right?" before they purchased the tickets. The agent said yes.
Sorry to see them come in second.

Did anyone else think of the pagoda in Epcot when they showed the drummers? And when Aaron and Hayden were having taxi troubles and they asked one of the locals how to get to the mountain....when the local person told them to go back the other way, why didn't they ask that person to tell the cabbie exactly where they wanted to go? Instead, they pulled their bags out of the trunk, and sent him on his way. What were THEY thinking?

Now that I think about it I was thinking the same thing at the time it happend I saw when they opened the map and the American Girl place was to the left behind them and they were so close! I really wish they would have won...do they get anything for coming in second?

Question for other Chicagoans. Where were they getting the cabs after the Water Tower?? It almost looked to DH and I that they had another task that was edited out. I don't know of an electrical power area that they showed anywhere near Chicago Ave.
