Can someone who knows please tell me how many club-level studios & 1-bedroom villas are in Jambo?

Thanks!:)

Is the pizza at Mara good? Better or on par with delivery? Do they sell a whole pizza or just by the slice?

Five of each although they can also be combined into five 2 BRs. I love it up there.

We had flatbreads from Mara last trip. They were tasty and different. Not a traditional pizza at all.

No pizza by the slice.

As I recall, there are small traditional pizzas on the childrens menu but we've never ordered those.

Thanks we get there tonight and were just wondering.

I read in more than one place that the bunk bed rooms are slightly roomier due to the bunks, but I know someone who just got back and said that wasn't true. She says the room was actually smaller than the AKL rooms she stayed in previously that has 2 queens. Can anyone else corroborate this?

Thanks!

When we were there they had pizza by the slice and by the whole pie. It was pretty good too! They also had the flat bread..

Hmm...maybe I missed those pizzas completely? I just saw the flatbreads and kids pizzas.

I thought I read somewhere that they now have zebra's on the sunset savannah - and now I can't find that post.

Does anyone whose stayed there recently know if they do or don't????:confused3

We going in June and staying in a 2BR concierge level and am hoping we'll be lucky enough to get a savannah view.:cool1:

Thank you

The video or pictures that I saw this week posted on various threads did show Zebras on the sunset savanna.

I can't say for sure - but I heard the exact same thing! I was going to request a bunk bed room (because for standard you can get either) but when I found out the room was a lot smaller I decided to just show up and see what I get - either way I really don't care.

Not to add to the confusion, but are the rooms smaller or do they just look smaller? At the Grand Californian, I know the rooms are the same size, but having the taller bunk beds makes it visually seem smaller. I know it's not the same resort, but now I'm curious, too. My DD wants a bunk if we go back to AKL...:confused3

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if you are right - because anywhere they talk about sq footage of rooms, they don't say that bunk rooms are smaller.

However, I didn't realize that tall bunks would make the room appear small - I actually thought that by having a twin bed instead of a queen, the room would appear larger. Shows you what I know! :confused3

I think the rooms are exactly the same. They moved some rooms around a few years ago when they started charging extra for the bunk bed rooms and if they were different sizes they wouldn't have been able to change. I would think that the bunk bed rooms would look bigger because the 2nd bed is a twin rather than a queen so there should be more open floor space.
