Just wondering if they ever have this as one of the stews they serve at Mara. This soup is the reason I'm going to Boma, but I'd be just as happy ordering from Mara and eating it poolside!

I've read that there will be a pool bar at Kidani. I guess we'll have to wait 'til next month to find out if any food is served there. I would hope so given the size of Kidani.

Yes, there will be a bus stop in Kidani according to reports.

I was told that kidani will have its own bus stop. Most busses will go from Jambo to Kidani then a park. The DTD bus (and maybe one other) will go from Kidani to Jambo. That's also how guests can get from one to the other.

Kidani looks so close across the savanna, but I guess that from lobby to lobby it's pretty far.

I would imagine that under all the Disney touches the door is steel. But look at how gorgeous it is!
The doors each have a different shield on them.

For those of you staying at AKL, I spotted a cute line of stickers/paper at Michael's called "Safari Kids", which would be great for decorating "Mousekeeping" envelopes!

Probably only indoor construction on Phase 2 at this point as the resort is set to open.

I can't remember if it was on this thread or the other but someone asked about BBQ grilles. Although the DVC site doesn't list that as an amenity, the map shows a BBQ area at Kidani.

The handout that someone posted said the pool bar will serve limited food options. Salad, club sandwich and fruit cup were listed.

The buses will go:

Kidani>Jambo House>park

Jambo House>Kidani>DTD

It's been reported elsewhere that 22 new buses will be added to the AKL Jambo/Kidani rotation for bus service to the parks/DTD.
