Well, I may be loonybut, I was in the 80s building and still had a wonderful time at Pop. Of course, I am an 80s child, so that helped (tho I loved the themes at each area). I feel like the distance wasn't that big a deal for us, tho I can definately see how different circumstances could make it more annoying. There were only two of us, no children to worry about, and we never made an extra trips back and forth to the room. Usually it was just from the room to the food court or buses in the morning and then back to the room at night. Usually in the morning we'd take a shortcut through the parking lot or behind the 70's building to make the walk quicker, and strolled slowly through the "long way" at night when we were tired (it's so pretty at night!) I cant wait to go back, I'd definately take the 80s rooms no one else wants

Okay. Don't take the looney part personally
I was kidding. We stayed in the '90s one night. We got there midmorning and spent the rest of that day and the first half of the next one. Staying there, we just didn't feel like we were part of the resort. The parking lot is a great alternative for getting to the bus, but you miss the atmosphere of the resort. And, if you want directly to the bus and back, it's not bad. But, if you are in your room and decide you want a snack, and you just returned from a park 20 minutes ago, it's not exactly convenient to run to the food court and get something. The theming is nice, though. And, I suppose I should add that the walk won't kill anyone, it's just not as easily accessible as the other areas are.
