Here is another great tip compliments of the All Ears Newsletter. Take a power strip with you to make recharging all those cell phones, I pods, game systems, lap tops and camera batteries that much more easier. If your family is anything like ours having a 6 outlet power strip takes the aggravation out of inconveniently placed or too few plugs. Having everything in the same spot makes keeping track of everything easier as well.

for those of you not packing yet throw this item in a suit case that you will be bringing down so that you won't forget!

There!
NOW you're PACKING! :woohoo:

yes awesome tip! I bought one years ago to KEEP in my suitcase! And am buying one for DS16 to put in his case for this trip also - since he will be sharing room with other teens. :thumbsup2

SO EXCITED!!! Paying off my trip TODAY!! Now, I can save the next few months for Spending money, YAY! :dance3:

Just found this thread! We are going to be at POR June 8-14. Requested Mansions so my DD9 can support her delusions of grandeur.

We too have never been in the heat. DD12 doesn't want to miss school anymore, so we picked as early in June as we felt safe, hoping it wouldn't be *quite* as hot and that some kids will still be in school. Hope we like it because until they are out of school or we go without the kids, there will be no more November trips.

Well it seems we'll be taking a surprise guest with us in June because I'm expecting!! :yay:

I guess DH will have to do the margarita flight at La Cava for me. Along with the different slushies in Epcot.:rolleyes1

Thanks so much for adding us to your list. I didn't realize I didn't put our resort: We're spending our vaca at the BWI -- love the proximity to EPCOT (quickly becoming our favorite park) and DHS. And whats not to love about the Boardwalk area? Beautiful, romantic, nostalgic....its all there.

70 days, and counting...

Congratulations! I did this once, took a little hitchhiker along for a trip to the World. But I had no idea. Dh knew by day 3....after we had successfully memorized all the bathroom locations in epcot because I had to stop every 12.5 minutes! :rotfl:

Our electronics kit includes:

My main camera
A backup camera (just in case there's an issue with my 'real' camera)
Cameras for 2 oldest kids
7 gigs of SD cards
Power strip with multiple slots
cell chargers for both phones
charging cords for Nooks
charging cords for nintendo DS
24 pack of AA batteries
