As this trip gets closer I am becoming more and more anxious about everything dealing with Disney from what bag to carry to how to tour the theme parks! I don't know what's come over me.
First, I thought I'd narrowed down the bag I was going to bring until I purchased a Boba carrier as an impulse buy because it was on sale. Well, now i'm wondering if toting a backpack will be such a good idea

. I'm traveling with a large party, but I won't or wasn't planning to share a bag with anybody since none of the other vacationers will be a spouse. My mother is going though so maybe the two of us can share 1 bag, but that might not be feasible because i'll have baby gear along with the other park necessities to carry and all of our stuff may not fit in 1 bag without making it too heavy.
So now, i'm trying to figure out what type of bag I can carry that will still work with a Boba baby carrier.
If I carry a backpack, will it be safe to leavy my bag in the stroller while we go on rides and in eateries?
I'm also worried about the popular "to leave the park or not" dilema. My daughter, 2.5 yrs. old, is the youngest member of our travel group. The next to youngest are 8 & 10 and may not need as much downtime as she does. If we don't leave I plan to watch shows, have lunch, and relax, but I'm worried that Aysa will have a major meltdown that will last forever and ruin the time for everybody else.
Have any of you mothers traveled with a toddler and not left the parks during the scorching hot summer months?
The last worry that's been invading my mind space is whether the other members of my party will truly understand and "get" Disney. After the comment my aunt made about adults riding "teacups" I am not so sure that this vacation will be as fun for everyone as I know it will be for me. Sure, we could split up and do our own things, but I have a 2.5 yr. old and having never been to Disney befoe, I'm afraid to navigate the world alone without my trusty sidekicks. Wow.
Planning is a big part of the fun, but it's really stressful too.
