Morning all, or should I say good afternoon. Sorry I haven't been around for a while, I have been really busy with both work and the theatre. I left the theatre at 2am this morning as there was a show in last night that I helped at and then we had to clear the stage for our sound of music set arriving this morning. Only the driver arrived with the set last night So we had to un load it all (I have never seen so much scenary in all my life!!) and then we had to sort out some of the lights that needed moving too. We went in again this morning for a while but have come home for a break.
School has started out quite well. I knew I had some challenging kids this year. Most of my kids are great but a few get into trouble in the playground fighting etc so have some temper problems. I managed to get in the way of a fight last week and ended up getting hit as I was trying to protect one of the children. Then yesterday I had a parent screaming at another child for something which turned out to not be that childs fault!! It is going to be a long year!!
I guess I should get going again. I need to get my house work done. If I don't do it now it won't get done at all. I doubt I will be in the house much next week during the show.

OMG I can't believe you got hit! And I hear more and more that parents are the problem, not the kids, and I definitely believe it. Hang in there, you are good for these kids and hopefully the troublemakers will settle down...if not, treat yourself to some chocolate
