I do lots of theatre stuff and my stage make up looks orange in the real light but on the stage looks normal. If we don't put it on our faces look white on stage and we look ill!! Even the boys have to wear it!

Thanks!! My dad was telling me a long time ago (okay, more like 2 years or something like that) how when he was in choir at his high school and they all had to put on this bright red lipstick. All the guys used the same tube and just passed it around! I'm okay with sharing lip stuff with two or three other people, but man, there were probably about 15 guys in the choir!! Oh well...

The boys usually come to our dressing room wanting us to do their makeup using our things. I don't let them touch my stuff!!

OCTOBER DIS MEET DINNER POLL

OK. There's been some clamoring for decisions on October doin's. Don't you guys realize that we are 3 never-get-a-break-from-the-daily-grind Soccer Moms who are going to do as little planning as possible!
We will not be held to any calendar or schedule! We are breaking free!

:sunny: BUT, we will make sure we get to meet everyone for dinner, so we need to decide where! :sunny:

This dinner will be on Sunday, October 10, 2004.
Time to be determined based on number attending.

:teacher: Here are our choices in alphabetical order. Please rate 1-6, with 1 being most desireable and 6 being least. Ratings will be tallied for a final decision.
For fun, anyone can participate, but I'll only be tallying the votes of those attending ;)
So, when you rate, let me know if you plan on going!

39CINDERELLA Will you be joining us for dinner? Would you like to put in your ranking before we pick a restaurant? Would love to see you there....

Anyone else before I count noses and get a PS???

Hey Danauk, my brother called my house yesterday (he's coming home today!! yay!! Well, tonight more like. I'm not going because they're going to be home at midnight and I'm still suffering from sleep deprivation!) and he said he was bringing some Mozart chocolates home! I can't wait to taste them!! :p ::yes:: Well today is my first day of school! Wish me luck!! Bye people!! :wave2:

Hi All,
Good Luck at school DHSsenior007, I'mm glad the Dancing went well. I will love to hear your report from your first day at school.

Danauk, I know what you mean about locking up. I generally lock up most evenings. Being a paranoid, I vary my routine, times and a few other things. I get much more nervous when I have to open. If there is a suspicious character around the entrance, I have been known to go for "Coffee", and I don't drink the stuff.

Oh well, my Eye appt is at 8:30, so I best get dressed. I hope they will get my right eye a little better... it still seems dark.

Good morning all!:sunny:

geffric Thanks for a super yummy breakfast! ::yes::

DHSsenior007 So glad the sleepover went well along with the dancing...sounds like a blast! Thanks for sharing your pic and good luck at your first day of school. And Mozart chocolates.....yummmmm:tongue:

Danauk I would be scared silly to walk down dark halls like that :scared: Be extra careful and make sure DH is with you....we don't want anything to happen to our favorite British Taglican! :earseek:

ohanafamily Good luck at your eye appointment.....sure hope they can get your eyes back into good shape! :)

Good afternoon all,
What a day! I went into work this morning as we are having some interative whiteboards fitted and I wanted to make sure they were put in the correct place. So I drove down to school. To get into our school you have to go over a bridge to cross the stream that runs across the bottom of the school field. Only the bridge had gone and there was just a big hole in the ground!   A new housing estate is being built next to our chool and they are putting the roads in. I finally saw a gap further down to drive over, through the building site, narowly missed getting hit by a bulldozer and got into school! 2 hours later the workmen show up to install the boards. We have 3 in school and they were supposed to be bringing the 4th with them. They didn't have it. After much telephoning (which had to be done on cell phones as the school currently has no phone lines as the builders cut through them last week when demolishing the bridge  ) we finally find that the missing board had been sent to the wrong school so they had to go and get it. By that point I gave up, said I would come back tomorrow and left them to get on with their work.
So I get home and have to do some more painting - white gloss paint, very hard to get off your skin!!

Ohannafmily - I hope your eye appointment went well. How exciting that you can finally feel some of Tag Baby Tigger.

DHSenior007 - Let me know what you think of the Mozart chocolates

Sorry for not having colour today but I am on our old lap top which for some reason will not display the colour wheel! My laptop is in the car which Pete has just taken to the theatre!! I can't go and get it as I don't have the other car as it is in the car garage having a new exhaust fitted!
Isn't my day doing well! I hope everyone elses is better.

Oh and to top it all off it has just started to thunder and rain! I can't shut the back door as I have just painted it and if I close it the wet paint will cause it to stick together.  Wonderful.!!

Danauk What an awful day for you  sending PD over the 'big pond' in hopes your day gets better :)

PD Danauk.

Well, I am back from my Eye appt. I expected more surgery. They said no. just checking; it would be another month or 2 before any follow-up surgery. I asked him if I could lift anything heavey, The Dr. said No Problem, just nothing that would make me grunt (DW said no Lowes/Home Depot/DIY Stores.....I asked if I was going to need my glasses back, he said "You are Legal to drive now". So I guess it is good news, they want me back in a month. I will go in the morning of the 16th (the first day of Rosh Hashana) 7:45 AM.

:bounce:

Ohanafamily - I'm glad you are legal to drive again and that you didn't have to have surgery again today.

It is still raining here. I had to shut the doors as the rain is so hard. In between rain breaks I keep opening the doors to make sure they are not sticking together!!

ohanafamily So glad your eye appt went well and no surgery needed! :teeth:

Danauk Sorry about your rain/paint predicament....just a thought....maybe you could leave the door open but put a shower curtain over top to keep out the rain....or I guess this might not work depending on where you've painted....good luck! :(

Good idea but I painted the top of the door and the frame too!!

Good afternoon everyone!

I'm glad to hear that Ohanafamily's eye appointment went well!! Poor Danauk!! I hope nothing happened with that door so you won't have to repaint it!!

Well, today was my first day of school. For the first time in about 5 years, nothing was wrong with my schedule (at my high school, we don't get our schedules till the first day of school... really stupid if you ask me, especially since our computers stink so thre are almost ALWAYS mistakes on everyone's schedules)!!! All of my guy friends' voices have changed!! It's so strange... haha! There's this one really cute guy in my chemistry class, but I think he's a senior... Ummm... I'm sure more stuff happened, but I'm still sleep deprived, so I can't think of it...

Byes!!:wave2:

DanaUK, I hope the door comes out OK too...

Hi All... just dropping by to Bump.....

:bounce:

Good morning all. Luckily the door didn't stick together and today it is sunny (although rain and thunder/lightening is forcast for later.) Today I need to sand the frames and doors so that I can put the second coat of gloss on later. Pete is busy building the other door. But I'm going out to lunch at the theatre with one of my friends in about 15 minutes. Plus we have to be back at the theatre later to do our duty manager shift.
I guess I had better go and get ready.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning
Has it been unusually rainy DanaUK? Or does it just seem to rain when you are in the midst of your project?... when will we see pictures?? I dropped off some breakfast on the other thread..

No it has been unusually rainny here. Down in Cornwall yesterday they had flash floods and many cars and vans were swept down the street and ended up in the sea!!

Good Morning Y'all, DanaUK, glad the DIY is going well and the weather is starting to cooperate.....

Geffric, thanks for the Back-Sreet Breakfast;)
