Good morning all,
I am so tired this morning, I didn't get much sleep last night as we had some storms and the rain kept waking me up plus it was still really humid. It is still raining now and I don't think it has stopped since is started yesterday evening. My pond looks like it might overflow soon The bunnies are not happy as they can't get out into their run so they are sitting together in their hutch and the cats are curled up on their chairs.
I guess I should put my waterproof on, feed the bunnies and head out into town to do some shopping. At least town won't be busy in this weather. The trouble is we can't paint the window frames until it has stopped raining and the wood is dry. We can't put the glass in the frames until they are painted and we can't put the plaster board up inside and paint that until the windows and doors have gone in!! So work has stopped until the weather gets better. I wanted to be painting the inside walls by the end of the week, that doesn't look like it will happen though.

A quick question: Exactly how much ice cream and other stuff do you get in a kitchen sink? Last year we ordered a bananna split and 4 of us had some and we had to put the rest in the freezer for the next day (a perk of staying in the BCV!).
Oh well I should go find my waterproofs and head out.

Danauk, I THINK the Kitchen Sink has one scoop of each of all of their ice cream flavors along with all the toppings, like nuts and sprinkles. Never had it, but I want to really bad! When my best friend and I go this coming spring break, we could have gotten it, but she's diabetic.

Could you just go to the sleepover thing until 1 or 2 so you could get home and get some sleep before church? I agree that you're young and could probably do the whole two things and then crash, but if not, maybe just stay at the fun thingie until you get tired?

Oh, and I may have just missed it, but why was your brother in Austria? My niece just got back from Luxembourg after a year there as part of Miami of Ohio's year academic program. She LOVED it. I suspect she'll move back to Europe as an adult, if she can find a good job.

Every year, the drill team has a sleepover, normally at the captain's (the main officer) house, but this year we're having it at the Kid's Klubhouse (sort of like Chuckee Cheeses...) in our local mall. hmmmm this is an easy one for me, for you, not so easy. This has happend many times with Sam. She wants to do sleepovers etc on Sat. nights. I let her go but we pick her up for church on Sunday morning and not let her waste the whole day on Sunday sleeping. Not fair to anyone. But church is a priority for us and as long as she attends and doesn't sleep all day Sunday, I let her do what she wants on Sat. nights. But she is one tired teen. You may want to compromise with your parents. maybe this once. But don't be grumpy on Sunday. They won't let you do it again!!

My brother's in Austria as a part of this international Music Festival. He plays the clarinet, and that's what he's majoring in at his college, so this is a really great oppurtunity for him. There will be college students there, but mostly college professors that will be in the orchestra. They are going all around to different cathedrals to play in them and during mass. I'm really jealous!! But I might get to go to France as a part of this Sister-City program thing (my town's sister city is Cognac, France, so I could go there for two weeks and stay with a host family)... Oh, sorry off topic!!

I thought about leaving early from the sleep over, but my parents weren't for it because they would have to pick me up (I don't have my license yet) at 1 or 2 in the morning. It should definitely be interesting....

Boo Hoo I posted the Kitchen Sink pics and wrote a 1/2 page reply, and the DIS server ate it for breakfast ..

Ok I am doing this in phases... so the Kitche sink is 8 scopps of ice cram , every topping in the WDW world, brownies, Oreos, gummy worms, twinkie like cakes, sprinkles,, etc... we get a side dish of chocolate/hot fudge and another one of the peanut butter sauce.

and my little family of 4 has no problem finishing this !!! Yep those are my children, she says proudly, raised them right... no point spoiling your dessert by eating dinner first!!!

However, this trip we had many discussions about the Kitchen Sink vs the other sundaes.. Eric felt that he was cheated with sharing the kitchen sink with the rest of us and did not eat his entire 2 scoops plus his allocated other goodies.. so he wanted his own sundae plus you get 3 scoops of ice cream not just 2...so we did many more NO WAY JOSEs this trip then the Kitchen sink..
