Well when you asked the question about the hot tea I remembered about where you ask for the tea bags because at Captain Cook's and Gasparilla's Grill & Games, they are left out in a box and you just take one.

Hi All!

Looks like we'll be staying on the monorail for our first time ever this coming August.

My mom got that great PIN code and we currently have three CR garden wing/garden view rooms on a courtesy hold. (The only reason we haven't put the deposit down is that we REALLY were hoping for a 2 bdrm at BLT, but none were available with the code. Just need a day or so to make sure we're really ok with monorail and no villa - or if we need to look into a villa at WL.)

It'll 5 adults (mom, dad, sis, bil and I) and my three nephews - the oldest will be 3 and the twins will be 16 months on the trip.

I haven't had time to read the whole thread, but even the latest few pages have been helpful already. (My sis has already asked about microwaves.)

Here now! We checked in last evening and got our MK view room reqquest..High floor with and ODD numbered room! The agent looked at me like I was crazy. We are on the 10th floor!

Woooohoooo! I can lay in bed and see the castle!

Just want to say thank you to everyone who helped me with planning our trip to CR. First stay at the resort and first trip with our twin boys (7 yrs) to Disney World.

We stayed in a 3rd Floor Garden Wing room with view of Monorail and Bay Lake. Great room. Working on my full trip report, which I'll post later in the TR board.

Congratulations on choosing the CR! I stayed at the Poly last year and never thought I'd want to stay anywhere else, but I have just fallen in love with the CR through all of the pictures and the wonderful people reporting here on the FAQ thread. Happy planning, and welcome to the CR family!

As usual, I am breathless. Because of you, I change my desktop picture very, very often! Thanks for the beautiful picture! I was just watching some special about Disney Christmas on Friday night and they showed how the wreath was put together. So pretty!

Not getting to eat at the Wave is one of my only disappointments from the trip. We tried to get a ADRs there, but didn't have any luck. Also tried to walk up one night, but we needed to eat around 5:00 so we could get back to MK and they didn't open for dinner until 5:30, so we grabbed the Monorail to Poly and ate at Kona Cafe that seated us right at 5:00 p.m. Love Kona had great meal there. Super friendly staff.

I remember one review a few pages back saying that the Wave was the best food she had on her vacation. And I think it must be getting popular, because when I tried to book for my vacation in two months, I did not get the time I wanted, had to eat later than usual. I'm glad to be able to try it out though Glad you enjoyed Kona Cafe. I stayed at Poly last year and was dying to try breakfast there, but my vacation last year was the "character dining extravaganza", so maybe next time! I couldn't get an early am breakfast there this year, so I think I'll just try the Tonga toast at Capt Cooks instead!
