Hello, everyone!

I have a 17" lap top that I'd like to bring with me to download pictures onto during our upcoming vacation. Will that fit into the Contemporary room safes?

We have less that 2 weeks to go. I am so excited!

Here is one link to a photo of the room safe. If nothing else were inside, you might be able to fit it. We always have other things in the safe and can't fit our laptop too, so we put our MacBook in a locked suitcase or in our car.

Boy, I still miss those CR in-room computers.

Thanks for the response about the lap top and the link to the picture. I think that even my huge 17" computer would fit with no problem. And yes, I wish that the in-room computers were still there, too! I want to get my pics off of the picture cards ASAP---I've had too many issues with ruined cards in the past.

I'm surprised how small that menu is. I know it's only a lounge, but I expected to see some sushi/sashimi maybe some ceviche - something more top of the "worldly".

I agree that it does seem small, although I guess it's because they are only open at a certin time so they don't think it needs to be expanded.

I'm having CR withdrawl. We just got back 9 days ago, and I realized how much we really enjoyed this resort. I'm watching the live stream from BLT on eyes on ears dot com and it is just like the view we had from CR theme park. I'm hoping we get to stay here again, but need another good discount.

Also craving the smoked turkey sandwich with brie from contempo, it was so good!

Yes, they are identical on the 12th floor (Atrium). However, on the 14th floor (Tower Club) the room decor is different. Here are photos of a Tower Club room.

That takes a load off my mind, you're right well worth it in my mind. Thanks for the advice, I don't want to stressed worrying if we are going to be late.

Do you think the cost would be similiar to get a taxi to Animal Kingdom? We also have an 8am Donald Safari Breakfast one morning.

We have also done taxi from AK, to avoid having to go through downtown disney after dinner. I think it might have been $2-3 more in than from Epcot. Still below $20.00 with tip. We love taking the buses during the day, after dinner we often find that we are ready to get back quickly if it is not a direct bus route.

Would I be heading to the TTC and catching some sort of bus? Would a cab be in order? We were so busy last time that we never made it to winter summerland.

Just catch the bus to Blizzard Beach out front of the CR. The bus stop at BB is right next to Winter Summerland. Just take the short little path to the front. HTH!

I will admit - I'm a little bit nervous about our upcoming stay at the CR. I've stayed a handful of places, and was very nervous about staying at AKL last time, but it was absolutely wonderful. We were originally booked for AKL 12/5/09-12/12/09 (for my birthday), but had to change the trip to 12/18-12/24 because of my BF's new job... I'm hoping this trip will be a pleasant suprise as well, and am trying to think positively.
We have reservations for a Garden Wing, Garden View, King room...any comments to help reassure me that this is the right choice would be great! Thanks!
