i had a resi for the tower m.k. view for june 18th till the 26th for $4553.00. those dates didnt show any avail. for the new special that came out today.so i added the 27th and it came up to $4000.00. so i called wdw and she gave me my 18th till the 26th for $3300.00!!! so if you dont see avail. for the dates your looking for, give them a call!!!!

How exciting! I'm so happy for you. The only tip I can think of is that if you want your beds to face toward the castle, request an odd-numbered room. Here's a photo of the short rib appetizers I liked and the sauce was yummy, too, but really, all the apps. were quite tasty:

No need for online check-in. When you're staying CL, the CL staff will check you in on the 12th floor.

My favorite appetizer is the Conch Fritters which are available in the lounge on Wednesday's.

For a limited time, free wireless Internet service is reportedly being offered in select areas of Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Website WDWMagic.com is reporting that free wi-fi service is available in public areas of the Contemporary Resort. According to the site, the free service is part of a program "to test a new design of a wireless/cell phone coverage configuration."

Areas offering free service include the lobby, main pool, The Wave restaurant and the Convention Center common areas. Look for the wireless access point named "Guest - Access (unsecured)."

The complimentary service is scheduled to be offered into late-April. Guests are advised to read the terms and conditions carefully in order to determine whether or not service is still free.

Thanks for the info! Wish they would do this through May I hate having to pay almost $15 to have wireless. Did I read this correctly, though, that at the CR you can pay around $9 in the lobby areas?

Finally in the double digits...not long now before our trip...55 days!

The Contemporary has a boat which goes to the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness that runs from 6:55 AM - 11:30 PM.

We are staying BLT 5/7- 5/16. We booked a deluxe lake view studio. I have heard that some lakeviews get to see the castle a bit, too. Is there a room I should request for that to happen? Also, should we do online check-in or just wait until we get there to make the requests? Thanks!

I believe some of the Lake View/North Facing Outer Villas will have a partial MK view if you look out the balcony to the left. If you look at the link I posted, 7310, for example, is a LV with a (partial) Castle/Space Mt. view.

It's best not to request specific room numbers. The room assigners wouldn't know the reason for your request and its highly unlikely that particular room will be blocked-off and available your entire stay. Best to request a specific room location preference. These requests cannot be made online and you should make sure they are noted in your reservation at least 5-days prior to your arrival.

From your experience, does the Contemporary usual grant "late check-out"? Our flight doesn't leave until 6 which means ME doesn't get us until 3pm. I have a 1 year old who I am sure would love to have his nap at his usual time (aka mommy will force him to nap) - do you think we could request a late check-out??
