I have a friend who is booked into The Contemporary MK View CL for 5 nights early Jan 2011,His reservation is showing online as 2 bedroom Villa!! Very nice indeed,Personally i would rather have the CL..He won't phone to confirm what he has as he would rather be surprised at Check in!!! Any thoughts as to why his reservation would be showing "2 Bedroom Villa" ??

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this is a known glitch within the reservation system. I hope your friend won't be too disappointed that he's "just" on CL with a MKV!

Nope he is happy with what "He Booked" just if it was ME i would be phoning to CONFIRM i do indeed have The MKV CL & not what the reservation states but thats just ME

Since you will be communicating via cell phone I would just have them call when they arrive at the front entrance and send someone down to let them in. Chances are there will be guests coming and going enough for them to "get in" without your help but they may be stopped by CM at front desk. There are also entrances on either side of the complex with a key entry door. Depending on which side of the complex you're on it may work better to meet them at that door. So excited for you ... a WDW wedding ! My nephew married there on New Years Eve and said he wouldn't change a thing about the wedding. They made everything perfect! Good luck!

Have you thought about letting the Cast Members at the Contemporary know those people are coming and they need to be let into Bay Lake Tower, so you can have them go inside their lobby and someone can walk them over into Bay Lake Tower. Should you plan to do that I would tell them in person about it because if you called from your room you are actually calling a call center and not the Contemporary lobby, so I wouldn't trust that.

However if you feel more comftorable having them call you on your cell phone when they arrive then I would just stick with that plan, because this way you don't need to depend on anyone else meeting them to bring them into Bay Lake Tower and etc.

Thanks for the advice - I think we might do both. We are going to make sure they all have our cell numbers and tell them to call us when they arrive, so we can let them in but, just in case they forget (4am is awful early!! ) we are going to also let the Cast Members at the Contemporary know they are coming. That way we will have all our bases covered.

Super appreciate the advice about not using the room phone, we had no idea it went to a call center!

Thanks also for the well wishes, I will be doing a full trip report over on the weddings board, if you are interested. I am keeping it over there with my planning journal and my vendor reviews but there will be tons of pics. I am going to work on getting a link to my PJ in my siggie tonight so it's easy to get to.

I can say 100% that it is a glitch in their system because in August 2009 when we also reserved an Atrium Club - Magic Kingdom View, the website also said we had a 2 Bedroom Villa reserved. However the confirmation we got e-mailed didn't say that, so I would tell your friend that he should look at the one they sent him and when I called the Disney Reservation Center to confirm they also told me the same thing.

It looks like you're doing CL and FD? What are your ADR plans? One 2-credit for dinner and a QS for lunch with breakfast in the lounge?

Yep, FD - and we upgraded to Deluxe. Yep, I'm thinking breakfast in the lounge, CS for lunch, and then as many 2TS's for dinner as we can - since I won't have my very picky eater husband and 6-year-old son with me we can go to places that I haven't been able to go! I'm dying to try Narcoossee's, CA Grill, and a few others.

If you're doing the DxDP then you'll have 3 TS credits per person per day, so you would need to do a TS at lunch instead of a QS. That can be a lot of food along with the lounge food, so you might want to consider doing the Regular DP or eating your TS lunch and dinner as far apart as possible.

When we made our reservation last year for Club Level Bay Lake View our reservation also said 2 Bedroom Villa, for some reason when you look your reservation up online it sometimes has 2 Bedroom Villa but if you check the email it should have the correct room type on it.
