Yikes I didn't know it was that complicated I think I will stick with the Wave reservation that we had I just didn't know if the Wave is very kid friendly my kid ar 6 and 10

We took our children to the Wave last year and we were very comfortable. My daughter was 6 and my son was 4. My son talks a LOT and we were fine. I agree with the other posters, you should no problem at any restaurant in Disney with well behaved 6 and 10 year olds.

The options given to you by WDWKOOK are easier then it may seem and out of them I would walk to the Magic Kingdom and take the bus to the Yacht Club. However another option which would be a lot faster is taking a taxi, if you don't mind paying for one. Although if you rather stick with The Wave I am sure you can not make a bad decision.

I do agree with this, that taking the walkway to MK and the bus to YC is really quite simple. We do it the other way around for the BW all the time to go to Chef Mickeys.

This caught my eye since according to this post, we have booked one of only 26% of available BLT rooms available on a cash (not on DVC points) reservation. It was posted by wdrl in the BLT Rooms and Views thread in the DVC Planning forum here:

On March 30, 2010, DVD declared 24 more BLT Units for the DVC membership inventory. These 24 Units contain 31 two-bedroom villas: 14 dedicated villas and 17 lockoff villas.

By declaring more villas for the DVC membership, it increases the chances that members will be successful in getting a BLT villa for the upcoming Holiday season and beyond. With this latest declaration 73.66% of BLT is now declared for the DVC membership. This means that 73.66% of BLT can be booked using points, while only 26.33% is held by Disney for cash reservations.

This probably isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I have read in a DVC forum that rollaways are not available at DVC resorts. Some bring air mattresses instead.

The Sky Bridge is actually on the 5th floor of BLT, but connects to the 4th floor of the CR.

I saw this info. on another thread today here:

"...I just spoke to the Contemporary and was told that if I send it (her package) regular mail it will go to the front desk and there will be no fee. If I ship fed ex or ups there will be a "handling fee" of up to $30.00 per package."

Hmm... I would ask that question to camdensmom who posted the info. in her thread; the link is in my post above.

I know that I have read that picking up packages at the resort that have been shipped via the postal service is free and shipping via UPS or FedEx incurs a resort charge.

We always have things sent to the hotel, like gift baskets etc. I always wondered why somethings have that crazy shipping fee and some don't Does the UPS/Fed Ex stuff go somewhere else on property BEFORE it goes to the hotel, thus the outrageous fee??

And speaking of stuff to the hotel, has anyone done a Cookies by Design to the hotel before?? I am skipping the bday cake this year. We did the chocolate monorail last year (but neither of us really likes white chocolate). Thought this might be a fun change...

Cookies by Design is a company that makes the cutest cookie bouquets. They have Disney themed ones as well. You order from the main site, and they pass it along to a local company that does such things. They make it and hand deliver it.
