Does anyone know whether or not you could get your "resort mug" refills from "Sand Bar" by the pool???

yup- we refilled ours here last year with no issue

Does anyone know whether or not you could get your "resort mug" refills from "Sand Bar" by the pool???

The only time I ever used the mugs there was back in Janurary 2000 because the Food & Fun Center was closed for a minor renovation, so they were temporarily selling the mugs at the Sand Bar. However ever since I have walked past there they have not been selling the mugs or seen people get them filled up there and on Allearsnet they don't list the Sand Bar as a location which offers them.

I honestly didn't know any better! I just walked up to the window and asked if we could refill them and the guy said sure and asked what we wanted.

Sure hope so! Because the thought of "trekking" to the 4th floor from the pool area while you're still kinda wet underneath your cover-up, just to get a drink with your mug...UGHH!!

We tried and were told No. I guess it depends on the CM working there at the time! It sure would bbe more convenient if they had a refill station out there. I still say they need to do something like the waterparks and issue bar codes--then they can be convenient, not be manned by a CM, and not have a bunch of people cheating the system. Everyone wins!

Wow- I guess I didn't realize that I got so lucky with my refill. But not doing it there is the STUPIDEST thing I have heard A fountain drink is a fountain drink, so who cares if it comes from the Contempo or the Sand Bar...you still paid for the mug for use at the CR

BTW, one and two BR views may be the same as you look through that thread. Many 2 BRs are lockoffs which is a combination of a one BR and a studio.

Speaking of mugs, what time does the contempo close the drink station. The Mara was early last year 10-11.

At the 10:00 PM the drink machine and all other machines in the Contempo Cafe closer to Chef Mickey's are turned off for the evening and are not turned back on until 6:00 AM. Then at 12:00 AM the same thing is done to the other machines and they are also not turned back om until 6:00 AM.
