I read the first few chapters of FOHAT as the sample on kindle. I was very engrossing, but boy, was it depressing! I judge my samples if the next day I'm still thinking of what happened in the book and if I want to know more. I'll definitely read this one, I just may need some happy pills later!

Although it was depressing it left me with a great feeling of hope at the end.

It's the new book from J R Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I told my DH and kids I will be unavailable for the next 2days!

Also wanted to mention I just started the book Shiver and it is really good so far. I like it a lot. I just finished the book Prophecy of the Sisters and thought that was really good too. At first I thought I had it figured out and was able to predict where the story was going. But I was wrong and I am so glad I was! I would recommend them both.

After I am done with Lover Mine I will finish Shiver, then I will try the book Tithe.

I was sooo mad! I preordered both Lover Mine and Dead in the Family on Kindle. Got an email saying that both now have no release date for Kindle. I guess they want to make their hardback sales first. I was so looking forward to getting back with the Brothers today! Guess I'll have to wait or buy it from amazon. Their hardback price was only $9.99, so it was only about $1 more than the kindle price, but add shipping. Bookstore prices would be over $20, I'm sure! Well, enjoy JM and Xhex!

I requested it at the library...I enjoy them even if they aren't the most well written.

I picked up a used box set of the first 3 Mortal Instruments books for $10 at Hastings. I know they have been mentioned here. I haven't started them yet...

I just got my copy of Burned today (I've had it preordered since October!) I've just recently finished The Help and The Girl Who Chased the Moon and am always looking for something new to read. I've been averaging a book week for about the last year, and (other than Burned) I feel like I've run out of things to read....

I just read a book called Voices of Dragons, by Carrie Vaughn. I love her work, she has a series about a werewolf name Kitty that I love. The first one is called Kitty and the Midnight Hour.

No worries i’m defiantly going to buy it (I have to own the whole series)
and while i respect your opinion i dont buy every book i read
i get most from libraries or friends. Our public library's virtual library is wonderful and has lots of new releases, you just checkout (download) you can even request titles. So while some books (the new sookie one) i've had pre ordered on amazon for months, others i'll read where available.

Ok, i've also finished Lover Mine.. and seriously ladies, if you haven't read the BDB what the heck are you waiting for??!!??

this book was just.... omg, there are really not enough words.. i loved it.. and you all may know by now that i love a good cry and i seriously cried through most of this baby.. well, when i wasn't laughing and cheering.

J.R. Ward may just have stolen the title of my most favorite author of all time..
