The Addams Family, but I like both. They're really not all that similar other than the spooky elements. The Addams Family is much more subtle and slightly subversive compared to the Munsters.
Addams Family by far.
Liked the cartoon in the New Yorker as well. The satire is strongest in the printed panels but the show still retained a whiff of it.
I liked them both, but The Addams Family a bit more. I met the woman who was the original inspiration for Morticia, Barbara Jean Day, many years ago while working as a courier in Key West.
One thing about the Munsters, to quote Apu from the Simpsons: "If your mother was a vampire and your father was a Frankenstein how come you are a werewolf?"
Thing, Cousin Itt, Lurch, Grandmama, Uncle Fester, Wednesday, Pugsley, Gomez, Morticia --- uncommon named characters each having a unique and weirdly appealing persona. Mais oui !
p.s. ---------------------------- calm down low-key, that ^^^^^ was me, not Morticia
