Soarin' is my all time favorite ride !!!!I have to find time for INNOVENTIONS I did make a Robot once , but now I want a Froggie !!!!

Whew! I'm finally caught up with the updates. I'll never be caught up with the chatter, I know I have missed some great chatter.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. My sister had her gall bladder taken out last year around Memorial Day. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm enjoying following along with both your reports. I really enjoyed the video of Baker and his family at Monsters, one a great display of Disney Magic.

I've enjoyed Liesa's tours through DHS and Epcot. I can't wait to see what Liesa forgets next. I really so like the frog. I missed out on doing this and have read it will be going away if it hasn't yet.

Better hurry then, Rosie!! According to Vanessa, The Froggies are going are getting deep-sixed. Sad! But great Tate got his girl in time!!!

YAYAYAYAY!! You're all caught up!! That's quite an undertaking- even without the in-between stuff!

I am really hoping that this gall bladder is gone sooner than later- thanks!! for your offer to field questions!!!

I lost and forgot plenty- it's ain't pretty!

so glad Tate is fixed up before the Froggie Mill is swamped. Sad- that was a fun little area.

I like your Carl. Much better than my caveman tink. :rotfl2:

Isn't the freedom to wander at will great? :goodvibes

I really did wander where the wind took me. (And to think I hadn't even eaten yet...)

The only 2 musts were the tour and lunch- and THEN a speed tour around the WS!!

Great update! :thumbsup2 Can't believe I'm going to be there this weekend! Love the picture of you with Donald. So funny.

They say he's the best surgeon in town. (don't they all say that ?) But seriously, THANKS, Mark!! I know it's a relatively easy one to go through, but no surg is without its risks. I am probably going to err on the over-ambitious recovery mode; I know I"ll have to exercise some semblance of caution!

Liesa, I had mine out several years ago and was SO glad I did! The pain was ridiculous and annoying but once it was out, the pain was gone! Seriously, it felt like labor pains and I gave birth naturally so I KNOW what that pain felt like! I had a stone stuck in the bile duct that was contracting over and over again trying to push it out.

And they almost always (except for emergency cases which obviously yours isn't) do it laparascopically which makes for a much quicker, smoother recovery. I'm sure you'll do great! My surgeon was this goofy guy who actually said to me before surgery, 'honey, don't worry, you're the 3rd one I've ever done'. I did NOT find this funny but granted I was in heaps of pain at the time. Just take it very easy at home, don't lift anything heavy at all and put a pillow over your stomach if you have to cough.:goodvibes By the third day, I was in very little discomfort at all. A week later I was back to normal.

Liesa, I love the mug story. It seems we all have one of those "brain fart" moments as I like to call them.

Great FW morning. The pictures of you and the characters are great, especially Donald Duck. I love your frog--he is too cute.

I'm sorry that I've been missing and knew nothing about you possibly needing surgery. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayersl

Your Carl Fredricksen turned out great!! Nice job!

As for the entrance to Epcot...I love it. :rotfl: But then again, I LOVE Future World, so it makes sense! The giant granite "tombs" can go away, but otherwise I love everything about it. Even the houseplants. ;)

I had no idea I would be facilitating a love affair only to be rivaled by Mickey and Minnie. In fact, they’ve been in my closet ever since sitting on my dressing table, doing who knows what every night when the door is closed.

HILARIOUS! :rotfl2: Those naughty little toys!

Our Velcro frog disappeared before the end of our trip even. I haven't a clue what happened to it! And NO, it's not with our Potato Head, I already checked. ;)

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooood Morning! Your Post Host here...

I'll know more after a couple phone calls this morning, but it looks like surgery is in MY future. But again, I have some questions to ask, so off to do my morning "stuff", then I'll be back to hang out, and have some fun.

I'm sorry to hear this. I hope it's a quick, "easy" surgery and ENDS your pain! Keep us updated.

I know! Your trip is coming up so fast!!:banana::banana:

It was one of those character interactions that went a bit sour, but I still love the picture! If I don't get over to your thread, have a wonderful, wonderful trip, and I'll be looking for that TR to start- or better yet, PM ME!!!!

Great advice, since I am one to totally get over anxious and overdo it. Dirty floors and dishes drive me nuts! Your surgeon sounds like a total crack up-

YOU TOO!!!?? I gave natural 5 times, except one epi for forceps that didn't do diddly squat. (no pun intended) THe rest hurt like well, you know what. But general over in less than 5 or 6 hours. I'd take one of thse again over a gall attack ANY DAY!!!! :scared1::scared1:

I'll know more after my US tomorrow...

I totally understand your absence, kathy!! You've had more that your fair share of hard stuff! I just found out about your brother tonight, myself, so don't worry. WE'll have to keep each other lifted up!

Your Carl Fredricksen turned out great!! Nice job!

He's ok. Not great, not bad. Harder than Donald!

As for the entrance to Epcot...I love it. :rotfl: But then again, I LOVE Future World, so it makes sense! The giant granite "tombs" can go away, but otherwise I love everything about it. Even the houseplants. ;)

I know! A lot of folks do. I just think it needs some updating and something more interesting than microscopic pictures in 2001 A Space Odyssey-esque monoliths. They are just plain odd.

HILARIOUS! :rotfl2: Those naughty little toys!

Marv should have picked up a "naughty" ornament for them.

Our Velcro frog disappeared before the end of our trip even. I haven't a clue what happened to it! And NO, it's not with our Potato Head, I already checked. ;)

YOU CHECKED!!!?? Voyeur.

I'm sorry to hear this. I hope it's a quick, "easy" surgery and ENDS your pain! Keep us updated .

I know it will be fine. I just wish it didn't take so long to get stuff like this scheduled.

Why oh why am I always 2 pages behind here. :badpc::badpc:

Love the hanging plant!!!! :lmao::lmao: That should be on an episode of 'What were they thinking?' Maybe someone forgot it was there from the spring. :confused3:confused3

What a cute little froggy you made. Now was it a boy frog or a girl frog? :scratchin:scratchin

Ooooh Soarin'! There is a little girl in this house that loves that ride. princess:

I'm glad you were able to visit with the characters! You know... you could of took a few steps to the right and took a few shots of the Beverly! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I think your Carl picture is great! It looks just like him! ::yes::

It's a fun thread to try to keep up with, but hey... LOT'S of material= FUN!!!

Every turnstile had a hanging plant. It's like they went to Plants R Us during the annual clearance sale.

Ahhhhhh... THAT is the question... nowadays a little lipstick isn't always a dead giveaway.

I think big girls AND little girls AND big and little boys LOVE that ride. My dad say's is well, he uses a certain slang term from the 80s for it- that I probably would get busted for saying here. Starts with a B.

Bev herself makes a guest appearance later in the week. ;)

I couldn't do that Carl again if they told me I'd win a free week at the POLY.

The hearing aid was the very last thing he had us add before the screen went black. He was fun, but definitely the most frustrating one I did. Well, except for the circle I started Donald with.

I don't understand what you thought was so bad about the drawing you did of Mr. Fredrickson's? :confused3 I thought it was pretty dang great! :goodvibes Better than I would be able to do, that's for darn sure. ::yes::

I think most of us women error on the over-ambitious recovery side. I know I did, I thought the day after surgery I could take advantage of our son being at my girlfriends and go out for breakfast with my hubby. Needless to say....sitting in the restaurant I all of a sudden needed to go home, we barely had ordered our food. I had never had surgery before, still in my 20's and thought I was invincible, I guess.
I don't care what's going on in the house, as long as it's not burning down around you, let things go until your better. Those are Mama Camille's orders. :3dglasses
The girls will perfectly handle things for you in the mean time, this I'm quiet sure of. ::yes::
Oh, and no cussing the nurse staff when coming out of anesthesia, it's not pretty and most of them don't find it to be as entertaining as someone else's nurse I know. :rolleyes1

Love all of the pictures with the characters. Cute outfit. :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear about your impending surgery. Hope things go smoothly and you're feeling better soon.

Ok did I miss something? Was it your gall bladder after all? What happened with the doctor?

OK. You are right! The girls can perfectly handle things, and I am VERY gifted at delegation- I will follow Mama Camille's orders and rest well.:guilty:

Funny you shoule mention that outfit.... I have a fun story about it coming up later. :)

Thank, Carissa!

Yes, I'm leaving for my US right now in fact. More later....

Thinking of you today Liesa, hope the US goes well:goodvibes! And yes, let your girls take the reins while you rest, very good advice!:thumbsup2

Shiny Cheeks will take the first half of our tour…

What exactly are we talking about here? Is this some new variation on the lady who greeted Maroo?

Close your eyes;

Feel it, smell it imagine it!

<In my best Pumbaa voice> Sor-ry.

In fact, they’ve been in my closet ever since sitting on my dressing table, doing who knows what every night when the door is closed.

Tate is in the closet? I'm sorry, I thought his/her cross-dressing was common knowledge.

Well, I couldn't be MORE mad at myself today, if I tried....

Who knew a little piece of sugarless gum would be a problem for an ultrasound?? They did what they could this morning, then told me that she couldn't get a clean pic of my g.b. - either the gum made it contract or I have a diseased organ. Ummmm..... aren't I here because I have classic symptoms?? Either way, she has to confirm after a NON- gum chewing morning. UGH!! WHO KNEW!? So, back in the morning again for round 2.

Thanks!!! Maybe I'll have time to at least cook a few casseroles ahead and freeze.

Ha! No, just personal commentary on the funny SE pix.

:lmao: I thought of that while writing.

You and Mark... and closet jokes. Not to say I didn't think of it too. :lmao::lmao::lmao:
