Hi Post Host (love that title!! :lmao:)!
True Dat! Nice Title......
I hope your doctor's appointment went well.
True Dat! :) So what did you find out Liesa? Inquiring minds want to know..... :confused3
Your frog looks very cute, but what is the HM you found? I guess not a Haunted Mansion??
HM I took to be a Hidden Mickey and I am guessing she means the second picture of the castle on the wall with the three squares with circles cut out in them, the two red ones making the ears and the yellow one making the head.
The Epcot entrance really suffers from the Leave a Legacy stones (also known as the memorial to all the people who died at Epcot... :rolleyes1). They make this area look so uninviting, more planters and fountains could really improve this space!
Yes, that is one place I tend to hurry through very quickly!

Liesa, nice of you to take us on this quick little tour! I always love the Disney Bus ride first thing in the morning......it means I am on the way to a much less crowded park since like you said, only a small fraction of future seekers (or forward thinkers maybe) pursue. It is always good to be the early bird since one can accomplish much more than attaining squiggly slitherers when they are! Even Tate was able to nab an early morning prize.....although the thought of what they might be doing when that door closes may haunt me for a while until I can purge that thought from my mind.....

I was guessing that Donald had an attitude because word had already spread about the Liesa greeting and you disappointed him by keeping your shirt on........ :rotfl2:

BTW, if you are planning to continue your role as a cheek beater, you may want to borrow a few of my spoons to motivate you along your way.

Thanks, this makes sense! I was wondering wether it was supposed to be CM instead of HM since there was a castmember in the picture with her, but this did not make much sense either!

:lmao:

I was wondering wether we would see any more wooden spoon pictures in your future updates! :thumbsup2

I'm afraid the wooden spoons are done for this trip. It crossed my mind a couple of other times, but I was thwarted in my pursuit! :confused3

There are some other moments that hopefully will make up for it as I continue my salute to my DISfriends....... :rolleyes1

BTW, where has Katharina been? I know why she was away for her birthday and missed contest 2, but she is in danger of missing Contest 3 as I hope to post an update tonight......

Looking forward to those salutes! :thumbsup2

Katharina is quite buried in work at the moment - I sent her an email alerting her to the important deadline! :thumbsup2

awesome!!!!

I hope your appt went well.

Nice FOTL Rope Drop pic!!! :) Love that Goofy was a man of so many words. :rotfl:

So....did you lose your shoe in Soarin'?? :rolleyes1

Tate and the Frog...:lmao:

Donald didn't take the bait?

LOVE the picture you drew!!

Liesa! I just loved your update. I'm having the Disney blues and you gave me such a good fix!

I just love the look into the "future" on SE. We always crack up laughing at our pics on the cartoon bodies.

Soarin'!!! *sigh* I can smell the oranges now!

Liesa and Maroo, even though I don't find the time to comment, I really do enjoy you updates
Sorry for being one of these lurkers....
Liesa, I hope you feel better soon!

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooood Morning! Your Post Host here...

I'll know more after a couple phone calls this morning, but it looks like surgery is in MY future. But again, I have some questions to ask, so off to do my morning "stuff", then I'll be back to hang out, and have some fun.

velcro frogs, at least you know where yours is, we cant find ours anywhere.

must have stuck to something and disappeared.

I could almost smell the orange groves as I read the part about Soarin'. :rotfl: I love the drawing of Carl Fredricksen. The hearing aid is a nice touch. :thumbsup2

Hello! We hope you are having a great day! This is 4-Eyed Digi-Darling and Shiny-Cheeks; we are your hosts- your POST HOSTS

But do you have room for one more?

You can take all those; personally, I’d like this destination best:

LiesaDay1238.jpg

You want to hang out with Patrick Warburton? :confused3

Now with 2 modes of transport down, we’ll move along to other important and highly entertaining fare.

As a transportation engineer, I find it dubious that there's anything more important or entertaining.

Apparently finding the place requires the same 3rd grade level of skill, because the kind CM pointed me to a location about 4 feet away. Ok, I’m a Post Host, not a CIA agent.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:
Hmmm. I guess we won't be seeing much of the Kim Possible missions, then?

In fact, they’ve been in my closet ever since sitting on my dressing table, doing who knows what every night when the door is closed.

Must...resist..."out of the closet"...joke...

Nope, I had just enough time to do some more interviews of guest celebrities and take in one amazing adventure before I wanted to get back to my preferred destination. (Here in case you’ve forgotten)

Patrick Warburton? :confused3

(Sorry, you know I can't resist a running gag)

I tried to pick a fight with this one, taking issue with his cousins sitting on my beach and pooping all over it, but he refused to get fiesty and dissed me with this cheesy pose instead:

LiesaDay1261.jpg

:lmao:

What's wrong with that? I think it's pretty good! Instantly recognizable. And certainly better than I could have done.

Saw your post about surgery...ugh. I'm sorry to hear that. We'll pray that the doctors have wisdom and give you good treatment. Mrs. Knowitall had surgery a couple of years ago to remove a portion of her colon, so if there's anything we can tell you from that experience, don't hesitate to ask.

Oh, and she's doing great...and so will you! :goodvibes

Hi Post Host (love that title!! :lmao:)!

Well, "Sweeter Reader"!!

I hope your doctor's appointment went well.

It went extremely well. She gave me a referral to a surgeon that I"ll meet with on Monday. I assume I'll have it taken out soon after that. I go tomorrow for an ultrasound to see what's going on.

I still love the flight over California first thing in the morning! I always feel like it is the best way to start a day at WDW! So exhilerating! :cloud9:

It's a nice way to start the day. I forgot to mention in my post that the film itself is really suffering (or is it the projection equipment?). There were a lot of annoying specks floating all over the screen (like floaters in the eyes) that danced around and really distracted me from the beauty of the scenery. I noticed in on both shows, so don't know what's up with that?? I still want to kick the rafters off their boats. THAT'S exhilirating! :rotfl2:

Your frog looks very cute, but what is the HM you found? I guess not a Haunted Mansion??

Hidden Mickey. Do you see it??

The Epcot entrance really suffers from the Leave a Legacy stones (also known as the memorial to all the people who died at Epcot... :rolleyes1). They make this area look so uninviting, more planters and fountains could really improve this space!

I just really think the whole thing needs an upgrade or refurb; not inviting at all. I've never understood those monoliths- just another money maker scheme to me. :confused3

Tate's a happy man. Almost as happy as I was getting what I did done that early morning at Future(Snooze)World.

I was guessing that Donald had an attitude because word had already spread about the Liesa greeting and you disappointed him by keeping your shirt on........ :rotfl2:

If he can keep his goose cousins off my beach, I might give him one. Maybe if I told him I was ready to get th shotgun out... :confused3

BTW, if you are planning to continue your role as a cheek beater, you may want to borrow a few of my spoons to motivate you along your way.

But yours went to Helga... Should I go find her and ask to borrow it??

(Sorry, you know I can't resist a running gag)
For some reason visions of Liesa trying to brush her teeth while doing one of her 5k's are dancing in my head...... :rolleyes1
What's wrong with that? I think it's pretty good! Instantly recognizable. And certainly better than I could have done.
I meant to mention that too. If I can tell instantly what or who it is, it's pretty darn good in my book!
It went extremely well. She gave me a referral to a surgeon that I"ll meet with on Monday. I assume I'll have it taken out soon after that. I go tomorrow for an ultrasound to see what's going on.
Hopefully things will go quickly for you. One of my coworkers had to go to the emergency room with his gall bladder. It took a couple of people to come up with that being the problem, then two weeks from when he went to the emergency room he was in the hospital with the surgery behind him. Let me know if you need me to ask him any particular questions for you.:thumbsup2
Tate's a happy man. Almost as happy as I was getting what I did done that early morning at Future(Snooze)World.
If I didn't know you quite as well I could take this conversation in soooo many directions!!! ;) :rotfl2:
But yours went to Helga... Should I go find her and ask to borrow it??
Actually I gave mine to Sigrid in Norway. :goodvibes

awesome!!!!

I hope your appt went well.

Tate and the Frog...:lmao:

Donald didn't take the bait?

LOVE the picture you drew!!

It went very well! She seems to be on board with what I was hoping for- a quick yank out.

I LOVED being RIGHT up on that rope!! It totally meant a first run of the day for me! WOOT! No, I was savvy to the announcement of taking them off and putting them on the floor; I'm also one of those weirdos who actually listens to the airplane spiel about emergency procedures. Ever since those friends of ours survived that crash in Jamaica I CAREFULLY look for my exits!!!! :scared1:

Ah Tate, a s/he of the world. I can't wait to give the update on his wardrobe expansion exercises. Remember that!!?? :lmao:

Nope. I felt like an idiot after showing him my play fighting. He nodded and emphatic no, and posed. Done, just like that. No nonsense. I guess it would have looked stupid in the picture anyway, since he has a 5 mile wide plastic grin pasted on his face. :lmao:

By the way, I htink I may still have one of our pictures. I'll trade it for our PP!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Liesa! I just loved your update. I'm having the Disney blues and you gave me such a good fix!

I just love the look into the "future" on SE. We always crack up laughing at our pics on the cartoon bodies.

Soarin'!!! *sigh* I can smell the oranges now!

UH OH! Not the Disney blues!! You can always come over here for a quick fix! YOu know we always love to have you around!!

The tour of SE is coming up... Digi Darlin' will take over for me...

Oranges, pine trees, the ocean, and it goes right over hte house I grew up in!!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

HI WENDY!!!

velcro frogs, at least you know where yours is, we cant find ours anywhere.

must have stuck to something and disappeared.

Well, Magdalene beat me to the punchline. I remember your Tater Capers very well, and have nearly identical photos to yours.

Maroo,

What a great day you had with Baker and his family!! Ok I think I've only seen Pinocchio out in the parks once, when I was very little. How amazing that you got to see him.

What happened at Monster's Inc, is a true testament to the magic that Disney creates for all kinds of families. I watched the video, and I about cried when everyone said "Hi, Baker." I don't blame you for bawling your eyes out lady.

Liesa you sure do remind me of myself sometimes. Just like locking yourself out of the room, I could totally see myself getting a new mug only to find the original later. D'OH!!:headache:

I could almost smell the orange groves as I read the part about Soarin'. :rotfl: I love the drawing of Carl Fredricksen. The hearing aid is a nice touch. :thumbsup2

The hearing aid was the very last thing he had us add before the screen went black. He was fun, but definitely the most frustrating one I did. Well, except for the circle I started Donald with.

Perhaps you should ask Mr Potato Head??? He might have a secret lover... :rolleyes1

:lmao: Very funny!

But do you have room for one more?

Are you offering your services??

You want to hang out with Patrick Warburton? :confused3

He's awfully good looking.

As a transportation engineer, I find it dubious that there's anything more important or entertaining.

But it's the Delaware DOT. Is it the planning dept. or the construction crews or the supervisors that are so entertaining? (Take that with a grain of salt. We're all to familiar with the DOT.)

:rotfl2::rotfl2:
Hmmm. I guess we won't be seeing much of the Kim Possible missions, then?

I was THAT close.

Must...resist..."out of the closet"...joke...

Believe me; it was the utmost restraint I showed there. ;)

Patrick Warburton? :confused3

(Sorry, you know I can't resist a running gag)

It's a great technique!! :thumbsup2

What's wrong with that? I think it's pretty good! Instantly recognizable. And certainly better than I could have done.

It was not as easy (ish) as Donald, and definitely my worst attempt in the Studio.

:goodvibes

They say he's the best surgeon in town. (don't they all say that ?) But seriously, THANKS, Mark!! I know it's a relatively easy one to go through, but no surg is without its risks. I am probably going to err on the over-ambitious recovery mode; I know I"ll have to exercise some semblance of caution!
