:rotfl2::rotfl2: Yes, tears and twice, when Liesa told it and again when you did.

I can only imagine what anyone who walking outside the room was thinking as they passed by. :lmao::lmao:

I am still cracking up this morning.

I love stuff like this that keeps you laughing for months.

I can imagine you're all laughing just as hard watching us 2 get our stories right. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

:D

 Too cute. I love moments like that! I wish I could have been there. My kids hear me bust out a laugh until you cry every once and a while, I don't know if it's just the right amount of funny and right amount of being tired, what ever it is I like it! :thumbsup2

Exactly! I think the right amount of tired has to be in the mix, too.

:rotfl2: OMG that is the funniest story!!!! First of all, bravo to you Liesa for asking for another - anyone that would flame you for that is a .... well, I don't know what. Crazy, I guess. But I am just dying at the idea that you guys considered asking the theme park board for advice!!:lmao: I'm sure that thread would have grown to 250 pages overnight! If you want to get flamed for something, that's the place to go!!!

Asking the theme park board was really the part where we started really cracking up...I came soooooo close to doing it, too.

:rotfl2: BUT SHE'S A MISSIONARY! Too funny. Personally, Liesa, I don't think there's anything wrong with what you did. The mug itself probably cost about forty-five cents and the soda or water or whatever else you put in there even less. Perhaps some would take exception to my ethical logic, but that's how I feel. Now people who try and fleece Disney out of dishonesty, as opposed to honest forgetfulness, that's a different story...

By the way, how did th Via work out for you? I'm thinking about going that route when we'r there. Seems pretty easy. I tried them once when they first came out and thought they were fine. Did it do the trick?

I'm super picky about coffee, even in ways I fail to understand myself, so I'm thinking making it in the room won't work for me, either, as we have a Keurig at home that I"m used to now. And as we all know most of the coffee at Disney leaves a bit to be desired. :lmao:

Totally agree! :thumbsup2

Honestly, I love those laugh until you cry moments, because they are by far, the most soul cleansing laugh. It's wonderful.

Very true!!

If it had been me it would prolly be while "Torpedoing or stuck in an elevator":rotfl2:I can just picture me explaining how my mug shot into the lake around Fantasmic or was lost in the elevator !!!:lmao:

:rotfl:

:rotfl2: OMG Maroo - your story is way too funny! I can almost picture Liesa looking over and counting up the mugs...
1....2.......3 WHAT??????

And then to even consider posting on the Dis boards. The thread would still be going on now unless the mods had to close it down for inappropriate flaming and arguing. I can't go over there anymore because I think have those threads are insanity!

I think its great that you guys had such a great laugh over a mug that a CM found on property and recycled! Such a great story!

I guess the only thing I could have done better is to suggest posting it on the community board....:rolleyes1

:lmao: :lmao: Liesa is not a refillable mug crook.

True!
:rotfl2:

Catching up...

Looks like you found a great breakfast spot. That picture just oozes calm in the morning light.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: on the mug story. Who can't relate to that?

I hope you're feeling better soon. Saw your post on FB... hope everything is ok! :goodvibes

Oh man! The mug story is hilarious and it's even MORE funny that you thought about putting it on the DIS! Now that woulda been quite the thread!!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1: :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I can't even imagine what the comments would have been with the Mug Police over there...plus RELIGION?!! :rotfl:

Mary and Liesa, I love your combined mug story!! :goodvibes My friend actually once lost her mug (left it in the laundry room accidentally and it was gone two hours later when we remembered). I actually went to concierge and asked wether there was any mug found in the laundry room and she told me to take my receipt to the food court and they would give me a brand new one! :scared1: Which they did...

I can imagine you're all laughing just as hard watching us 2 get our stories right. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

You are so funny! I still can't get over the shirt incident, first you're a stripper and now a thief! :lmao:

I can just see the would-be thread now! Some people are just cruising and looking for a fight! Of course does anyone remember Buzz? He was so much fun, but loved to get a discussion going. He was banned. I think he is lurking around under a few different names, but really low key.;)

It was the essence of calm before the storm. I knew our days would be full and fast at times, and that a bit of reflection on how lucky and blessed I was to even BE there was so important!

I am feeling a bit better- meaning that I'm not writhing around on my bed gasping for breath. It still aches, which suggests to me it's not just stones. Regardless, I have an appt. at 3:00 tomorrow with a GP. I hope she'll order an ultrasound, so we can see what I"m dealing with. If I"m facing surgery, I'm really praying the doc's onboard with me to get it done before our insurance is cancelled next month!!!

I shuddder to think....!!

It's great to have the tandem viewpoints. I swear I think between the two of us we are still missing some important details, though. I'm glad we have each other's memories to add depth (and accuracy) to the stories!

I think it happens A LOT!! I imagine folks go in panicked quite often, and Disney figures the prices of them are high enough to give out lost mugs when needed. :confused3 I think they are fairly lenient, but hey, when panicked, you're just not sure if you just dropped $14 down the pooper.

You are so funny! I still can't get over the shirt incident, first you're a stripper and now a thief! :lmao:

OMG!! Tammie, what kinds of nonsense can I come up at our Meet!? Are you sure you still want to come?? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I do!! His stuff was fantabulous, and OH SO FUNNY!!! I hope he is lurking, but wish if he is, he'd chime in a make us laugh again!!

Girl!

I hope they do the US tomorrow...

When they did mine, I was in surgery within 24 hours. :confused3 And felt like a new person in about 4 days.
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I hope you feel better very soon!!

Hang in there! Feel free to call anytime.:hug::hug:

Liesa,

I have had my Gall Bladder out and what you have been describing is classic symptoms. Does the pain start around your belly button and radiate to your back? If your writhing in pain and can't breath your having a Gall Bladder attach. What happens the Gall Stones block the opening to where your Gall Bladder empties into your Liver and causes things to back up and hence you start having pain. I hope they do an ultrasound, and the surgery is simple and can be done laparoscopicly with recovery time 2-3 days.

I think the pain of that was worse than giving birth! Please let us know what you find out.

Hope your appointment is shedding some light on things today... any word on your husband's job interviews?

Liesa, so what did the doc say?

When I had mine done I was so happy to have out what was causing the pain, the sugery is pretty easy if done by way of lap. as someone else said. :goodvibes
It took the better part of a week to get me back to doing normal day to day stuff without being in much pain, but you have to take it slow for a little while. I think it took about six weeks before I stopped being tired easily.
Let us know what the outcome is. :upsidedow

Thanks to all! who've offered kind words of advice and testimony. I leave in about a half hour for my appt. and am just hoping it goes well. It's a brand new doctor that I've never seen, so I'm hoping that without her knowing my history so well. Anyway, more later tonight. I'm taking Mikki to a community theater to talk to the director about getting involved, so won't be on until late. The good news is that I have the next update written, but have to "refine" it some before posting.

I hope you were able to talk your doctor into moving along quickly. I can't imagine the pain you've been experiencing lately.

Sorry... just catching up a bit.. :rolleyes1

MUGgate? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I don't know what is funnier the MUG story or leaving yogurt in a car in Florida in September for 3 days.:eek: :headache:

LiesaDay1267.jpg

Hello! We hope you are having a great day! This is 4-Eyed Digi-Darling and Shiny-Cheeks; we are your hosts- your POST HOSTS- here to say:

WELCOME TO YOUR FUTURE!!

We are here to take you on a tour of your future involving an exciting morning in Future World… the other half of EPCOT. (The half that still doesn’t excite this Post Host nearly as much as the better, further-side of the eight.) Nevertheless, we have some entertaining things to show you during the next few episodes of:

LET’S DO (some of) FUTURE WORLD!!!!!!

Shiny Cheeks will take the first half of our tour, and Digi-Darling will join us a bit later…

After a fair bit of mug thievery, and having a relaxing morning of sitting on my derrier pondering the meaning of life over a Yoplait (odd posture to do that), it was time for Shiny Cheeks to hit the solo groove again, and begin our tour. This bit of future was super lucky with our first mode of transport- the Disney busses. Not only did I not have to wait, but I got a seat. More and more, that’s a bonus. Miraculously, I made it in plenty of time to stand in line and wait to give my unique piece of identity to the scanner. I guess that’s the way of my future and yours. I don’t know about anyone else out there, but EPCOT’s entrance has always seemed so bland and uninteresting to me. Oh, look! It’s a houseplant hanging there! (Yes, I know there are a few weeks a year when they put up some amazing topiaries and such, but these weeks were not among those.)

LiesaDay1231.jpg

There were only 2 major goals on this fine, once-again-sunny morning: A Seedy Kind of Tour and a lunch at a new restaurant for me. Remember where that was? It followed in perfect theme for one of my tenets. The Seedy Tour started at 11:15, so I only had two hours to gather enough material for a nice tour for you. Are you anxious to see what we could get done for you in order to give you a nice run-about town?? I think you’ll be surprised.

Our tour starts with an activity only a small fraction of future seekers pursue. Standing behind a rope to trot off to our next mode of transportation just isn’t a priority for most. In fact, only those who want to maximize those wee morning hours with NO lines and less summer heat bother to face the fast walk to Soarin’.

Being a superb tour guide, I got a priority position at the very front of the starting blocks for you! Our first guest on “Let’s Do (some of) Future World” seems appropriate, does he not?

LiesaDay1232.jpg

His words of wisdom to you: “ “ He was completely speechless at the thrill of being on our show. He had a very large wave though.

I was quite a cheek beater for you, and that really paid off! First in line!

So, where would you like to go first?? I have several destinations that might be interesting:

LiesaDay1236.jpg

LiesaDay1237.jpg

You can take all those; personally, I’d like this destination best:

LiesaDay1238.jpg

Close your eyes;

Feel it, smell it imagine it!

Now, wasn’t that a great FIRST flight of the day, WONDERFUL front row tour?? No feet to distract- only the gentle citrus-spiked breezes blowing in our faces! And on THIS tour Digi-Darling and I say, you’re perfectly allowed to try and kick that rafter right off his keister. Don’t lose your shoe, though, the management may or may not try and find it for you. Now with 2 modes of transport down, we’ll move along to other important and highly entertaining fare. In fact, it was time to find a third Post Host to help us out for the day, and little did I know, this would be the beginnings of a torrid affair! Woe to me, I feel like Frankenstein!

Making our way out of (after grabbing a FiP):

LiesaDay1241.jpg

And out past here:

LiesaDay1243-1.jpg

Where gardens like this make me realize I’d love to hire 10 private gardeners to help me out:

LiesaDay1248.jpg

Entering the Pavilion called Innoventions Weest (no one ever seems to remember which one is which) I asked where I could perfect my 3rd grade skills of sticking Velcro pieces together. Apparently finding the place requires the same 3rd grade level of skill, because the kind CM pointed me to a location about 4 feet away. Ok, I’m a Post Host, not a CIA agent. I cozied right up to the Froggie making station, and immediately began to feel clueless and out of my element. I needed help. And since I was the only Froggie making patron in the place, I got the royal treatment. The 2 beautiful assistants dug around in their bins to give me a customized Froggie jobbie, that Tate considers a fine companion!!!! I had no idea I would be facilitating a love affair only to be rivaled by Mickey and Minnie. In fact, they’ve been in my closet ever since sitting on my dressing table, doing who knows what every night when the door is closed.

002.jpg

For your touring pleasure, I found a HM too, and thought that every pre-school teacher should have a nifty set of Hook and Loop (since when has ANYONE EVER used that term for Velcro?!)

LiesaDay1244.jpg

LiesaDay1246.jpg

LiesaDay1247.jpg

By now, we’ve burned up about an hour of our 2, and I had to think hard about how best to continue with our tour. Should I ride a bunch of rides, or save that until our Belle Battalion time? Should I criss-cross the park and just hit up stuff randomly? Nope, I had just enough time to do some more interviews of guest celebrities and take in one amazing adventure before I wanted to get back to my preferred destination. (Here in case you’ve forgotten)

LiesaDay1238.jpg

Now, let’s see who could give us a few words about our Future:

LiesaDay1256.jpg

LiesaDay1259.jpg

LiesaDay1257.jpg

I tried to pick a fight with this one, taking issue with his cousins sitting on my beach and pooping all over it, but he refused to get fiesty and dissed me with this cheesy pose instead:

LiesaDay1261.jpg

Apparently NONE of them have anything to say, but they have great big smiles and take a heck of a posed picture. In fact, they take a much better picture, than your Post Host can draw one- case in point:

003.jpg

Well, folks that concludes Part 1 of our morning tour. I hope you enjoyed your “Let’s Do (some of) Future World” tour with Digi-Darling and Shiny Cheeks! We have so much more to show you, after a brief word from our sponsors. Back in a bit….

Hi Post Host (love that title!! :lmao:)!

I hope your doctor's appointment went well.

I still love the flight over California first thing in the morning! I always feel like it is the best way to start a day at WDW! So exhilerating! :cloud9:

Your frog looks very cute, but what is the HM you found? I guess not a Haunted Mansion??

The Epcot entrance really suffers from the Leave a Legacy stones (also known as the memorial to all the people who died at Epcot... :rolleyes1). They make this area look so uninviting, more planters and fountains could really improve this space!
