Now THERE is something you never want to finish a statement with....
I should have thought that one through a little bit more, for sure.
Sounds like the voice of experience......
He's still obligated to a date night out once a week, even after 22 years of wedded bliss.
WHAT??? No PICTURES???? (and for that we are eternally grateful.....)
Yeah, for once, this is an installment that is probably best left to words only.
Cool! I didn't realize Glenn and Dan were in that movie. I guess I will have to go buy it and watch it now......

They bear absolutely NO resemblance. At least at first glance.
Well, you just knew it was coming at some point....... How terrible for Mikki!
Yes, it seemed inevitable. But, really, that was the LAST of such misfortune. I was telling Mikki about my post last night, and we got to talking about other horrible, most wretched experiences, and she conceded that it was now a toss up between this and driving an hour to the hospital after she got run over by a car in Istanbul. Her foot was smashed (but miraculously nothing broken) , and she was in great pain. Talk about a way to get up close and personal to the real people!!
About the only similarities I can think of between THIS DHS and the one at the Magical Kingdom is sitting through the Drew Carey show maybe.....
I'm not sure what I'd prefer to be tortured with?
Well, except for maybe that one the Pilgrims endured...... (Thanksgiving reference completely intended!)
Can you IMAGINE how badly that Mayflower must have stunk??? I wonder if they named it after a pretty flower to distract them from the stench of throw up and urine?
Oh yes, pecan pie for sure! Was the apple and spiced blueberry IN the pecan pie, or were those three different pies???
Pecan rules. And sadly there was none there this year.

But I have to say, the spiced blueberry rocked!!!
BTW, you do realize if you take a "boatload" of snow, and spread it over the countryside, you don't have a whole lot........well, unless maybe it was one of those container ships.
True- so this must have been like enough to fill a DHS pat down procedures book.

Something to indeed be thankful for!!!
I cried. As I do at every baptism I see.
Hi Leisa,
First off
WELCOME HOME TO THE GOOD OLE US of A!
Poor Mikki! Was it just the stomach flu? Poor girl

I feel so bad for her. Thank goodness for your parents and the over abundance of supplies!
WENDY!! Great to see you! How was your holiday?
Thanks for your warm welcome!
We think back and can only say it must have been some sort of viral thing that swept through most of us-sparing only me. It had started with Anara a couple weeks before this.
And this was before the new tighter regulations, right? What happens when they start doing proctological exams?
I imagine then, that the "Don't touch my junk!" movement will really take on a different meaning.
Welcome home! Ok, this might be a bit late now, but just imagine I was saying this at the time, and it'll go over better.
It did. My imagine can be quite active. Thanks, that was so sweet of you, Mark.
Taco Bell? Man, that's a risky play with Mikki's condition. That could have started moving things at the other end!
She waited until we got to Mom and Dad's and had a dry bagel. Smart girl.
its okay i didnt log on all holiday weekend either.
i will keep a watchful eye on the horizon for you.
Alrighty, I'll be over in the next hour.
oh yeah, mmmmmmm taco bell, good stop for the first meal, i get there about once every 2 years, so it would be like my first meal returning to the county if i get there again....we just dont eat out fast food that much, so they taste good when we do get back to one.
Funny, I get there about every 2 days. Well, not really, but surely about once every 2 weeks. So cheap- and it's pretty hard to mess up a tortilla and beans.
I finally caught up as you finally made it to this side of the ocean!

Poor Mikki being so miserable - I used to get like that often when I was younger, but what helpful grandparents to be so prepared for your arrival.
I love Taco Bell. I seriously crave it more than anything else when I am pregnant. Mmmm, Nachos Bell Grande. (Insert picture of Homer Simpson drooling here)
Poor creature is sick again with a head/ear/ throat cold the last few days. too much sledding, I guess.
I ate so much Taco Bell during my pregnancy with my first, I swear he was gonna pop out and say, "Hola, Mamasita!". He learned how to drink from a straw there too, since my craving didn't go away after he was born.
Awww, not again! I'm sorry that Mikki had to suffer, but glad it wasn't the whole clan again.
You know, I bet that Taco Bell would've tasted SOOO much better with a little free booze in your stomach. Taco Bell=Drunk Food!!
OH Gosh!! Me too!!! It was tough enough with only one of us!!
OH, don't you know it!!!! But there will be plenty of that coming up in the next installments.
