I'm trying to get caught up, but wanted to say sorry to hear about your FIL's trip to the emergency room. Hope everything turns out to be okay.
I'm sure it will be fine- but then again, he is 80. I know lots of people live well beyond that, but with mom dying 10 months ago, it's been a rough year for him. Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts, Crissy!!
Yes, I imagine that is true... "All good things work for the best..."
I think our family will start to spend more and more time in Salem now. It's just seeming like the natural course that needs to be followed. The drawback, no regular internet out there.

I may have to hang out in Starbucks for the Wi-Fi.
YES!!!! You did it!! WHich makes you have more points in my game than I can seem to muster in yours. Which really stinks. I"m going to start finding random quotes that COULD be movies quotes.
Liesa, I am so sorry to hear about all the drama you had yesterday. Glad your FIL is okay (the friend who lets us use his condo has been having heart problems and they did that exact same thing on him last Friday). How are the kids with the missing teeth doing?
Sorry you didn't get the job...but I know you weren't too disappointed about it.
Moving by the end of this year????
It was excessive drama. But dealable with. Hearts are funny organs. Fickle things, they are!
Kids are doing ok; making Zach's school lunch became an issue this morning when I couldn't find anything soft for him to take.

I ended up cutting the crust off the ciabata bread and smearing PB and jelly on it. The go-gurt oughtta work great, but I'm not sure aobut he granola bar. It says its chewy, but with 2 open sockets, well... maybe not soft enough.
Nah, really it is fine. I"m acutally a bit relieved.
Yes, gradually now over the next few weeks I think.
Liesa,
Yikes! How much can one person take in the span of a day! I truly hope FIL is okay. I can't believe he actually took you guys out to dinner. That's one strong individual!
Sorry about the job, but I'm glad you're okay with it. Her loss, in my opinion.
It was a rather crummy day. In general. But Dad's fine (for now), and we ended the day at his favorite Chinese place, scored a window table with a GREAT view overlooking a city fountain/ waterfall, phenomenal food and free dessert becuase there was a funky piece of plastic in my eggroll. Like the plastic top of a spice bottle or something.

I'm glad I didn't break my tooth!!
His doctor in the ER was from the Ivory Coast with a thick accent, and Dad LOVED him. He was so nice, and seemed to be really efficient and a good doctor. Dad has been to Togo twice, and they yacked it up some about West Africa. Fun in the ER.
Eventually it will be the right time for me to work, but now is clearly not it. I am a very patient person...
