:rotfl2: Well, I'll be! Finally catching up and I can honestly say that I have never seen a fountain that looks like THAT! Is that safe for public viewing? :lmao:

The stainglass windows in that church were absolutely amazing. More wonderful pictures of Nuremberg!

Well let me see..I'll take another guess now that I've been thinking..

The letter is green..lime green..the only two things that come to mind would be Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin..It doesn't look like Buzz, so I'll go with Space!

Love all the cheese! Mickey would be happy there, wouldn't he?:mickeyjum

I also had to do a double take on that fountain......:scared: It is artistic, just in a very different sort of way.....
moving on.
I must be going through some sort of Disney withdraw because I can't guess any of the letters......:sad2:. I just might not be that observant, either. I'll try to guess on the next letter. Maybe "P" will be easier.

I hope you find out about the job soon! Good luck!

Yes, the cake was from Neef. So sorry that you don't have any pictures! Would it help if I go there for a cup of coffe and a cake and take pictures of mine? ;)

I am glad that your work experience went well. When will you for definite? And when will you start?

That one that Magdalene posted from Italy was far more disturbing. As if a couple weren't enough. :lmao: "Safe" these days seems to be such a relevant term.

I wish I had had a much bigger, more expensive camera to really capture the colors. someday....

Yes, a Mickey wonderland!! With lots of cheeses!! Wished I had tried a sample!

I admit, until this trip, I didn't really focus on the details either, but this time, since I was alone for 4 days, I could really just slow down and take it all in!! IT was SOOOOOOOO great to be able to do that!!

Well, if you MUST have an excuse to go have a piece of pastry or cake the size of Texas, sure, by all means PLEASE go and have a nice hot cup of coffee and something sweet! :cloud9: LOL!

I should know by tonight for sure, and will let everyone know. It will mean some adjustments to my life, such as making sure idnner is planned and IN the crock pot on those days I work. Unfortunately, it may also mean a bit less DIS time, but hey, EVERYONE usually is on less during the holidays, so in the end it may not be that bad. :confused3 I just really want some Disney bucks!! Simple as that.

I have some really, really great news, and have something that's just puzzling me to no end!

First: I have been doing the Proud Mom Happy Dance again today!!!

:car::car::car::car:

Mikki passed her Driver's Permit test on her first try today and now has her first LEGAL half hour of "training" under her belt!! WOOT!!!

:drive::drive::drive:

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP, BEEEEEEEEP!!!! Here we go!!! I never knew brakes could respond so well as to catapult a grown human nearly through the windshield. Nor did I know that the church parking lot, which while I'm driving is enormous, could look so small. Anyway, 1/2 hour down, 99 1/2 to go- we'll see at what mile my hair will need to be touched up again....

Also, I am stymied as to how on God's green earth I completely missed giving you letters G, H, I,AAAAAAAAAAAAAND J, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND L and M??????!!!! Can you all help me out here?? Was I really THAT remiss?? Did I wrap up my brain the other day at work, or get it tied up with ribbon to the point of asphyxiation?? I have the points tallied for the letters I COULD find, but am stunned I missed so many!!

Still no word on my job, but should hear by tonight- at least that's what she told me... more later on that.

Don't remember any of those letters personally. :confused3 That is part of the reason I didn't respond for a while. I checked out your updates and kept up, but without letters to guess, I was able to hold my responses until I had plenty of time to respond completely, instead of just a quick "letter guess."

Congrats to Mikki! :woohoo::woohoo: :yay::yay: :woohoo::woohoo:

You have to drive 100 hours with her for training? You have any xanax handy? :lmao::lmao:

I didn't realize you skipped any letters... I've stunk so bad at this game that I stopped trying! :lmao::lmao:

Congrats to Mikki. And I hope you aren't like me...touching it up every six weeks which I've been doing since my first one got his.

Hoping for good news on the job.

Lots of luck on the job!

Thanks so much, Mary!

The torpedoing would need some super fast speed film !!But getting a shot of those I plowed into would have been doable !!!:lmao:

You mean the ones with Cokes and coffee spilled all over the fronts of them?

Well, then that confirms my suspicions... I afear I just was remiss in getting them up- which meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeans,

I have 6 letters I can add at any time I want. At any time.

Now as to your non-posting... :rolleyes1

Congrats to Mikki! :woohoo::woohoo: :yay::yay: :woohoo::woohoo:

Yes, if they don't take a course, it's 100 hours. :scared1: Think of it this way: that's one hour EVERY day for 100 days. Can you imagine?? She may be 18 when she finally gets it- which is actually A-OK with me. :thumbsup2

NOOOOOOOOOOOO, don't stop trying! I know you know your parks better than that! And just think of all those nifty prizes I have awaiting some suc... er, I mean contestant! :lmao:

Congrats to Mikki. And I hope you aren't like me...touching it up every six weeks which I've been doing since my first one got his.

Nope, that's way too expensive for me. I may just let it go back to boring old brown again.

Still no word. I guess I won't hear tonight afterall. Ah well, maybe tomorrow. :confused3

I didn't know this Tammie....are they a pain to take care of? I told my DH I wanted them about a year ago and he about had a fit! :laughing: He said they stink and that he didn't think taking care of them would be as pain free as I thought. He probably has a point and I'm not sure our HOA will allow it. I'm hoping if we move out onto some land in the next few years we'll be able to have them then. :goodvibes

I enjoyed talking with you yesterday. :goodvibes

How did that go today? I've been thinking about you. :)

They're not so hard - they stay in the fence, go to sleep in the coop at night, and eat scraps and bugs. But if you have them loose, they poop all over the place, and they do stink. It is no fun to clean up their house. Skunks and coyotes are always stealing them. AND worst of all - the roosters wake you up before the sun comes up! You need roosters to get eggs, unless you give them hormone food!:headache: It is nice to have fresh eggs - but sometimes they are too rich!

Oh, and I have our tickets! Arriving on the 22nd, leaving on the 30th. I'll call you before we leave. I enjoyed talking with you yesterday, too! I can't wait to see you!:yay:

WHOO HOOTY! Good for Mikki! Hope you can stay calm!:goodvibes

Oh, BTW - I'm not sure what the settings were for sure, but I changed my screen to Holidays and I can't see the white now. Plus, it's festive!:santa:

Hi Liesa, I knew that you missed quite a few letters, but had not realized that it were so many! But it sounds right to me. :thumbsup2 I did not point it our at the time since I felt you were busy enough and the story is more important than the game! :goodvibes (Ok, this sounds pretty strange from someone who has proven to be pretty competitive at this game... :rolleyes1).

I hope you will hear from the job today! And good luck with the remaining 99.5 hours!! I would hate to give someone else driving lessons! I am already scared when I am driving myself!! :scared1:

Oh fiddlefopp. It's hard enough keeping up with your's and Glenn's updates as it is.......now I have to search every post, every few hours if I plan to keep up........ :eek:
Now as to your non-posting... :rolleyes1
Hey, you knew what was going on. At least we got to chat a little on FB. Another soccer game tonight and then a scout camp out this weekend, so here we go again. Drew's All-Star soccer team plays for the Western Division Championship tonight and if they win, they get to play for the state title the first weekend in December. :banana: I hope he can play well tonight. He is still dinged up and was slightly limping last night from getting kicked really bad on Monday.

He had his Cross Country banquet Tuesday night and got his first Varsity letter, and got named Outstanding Middle School Runner of the Year for the boys. :cheer2: His personal best for a 5K was 20:55! That would have been in hours and minutes for me...... :rotfl:

Congrats to Mikki!!! :woohoo: And prayers for patience for you!!! ;) Humorous story. When DS18 first got his permit, we were on the way home and I went a less traveled way towards the house. When I got to a suitable spot, I pulled over and told him he was driving the rest of the way home. He looked a little :eek:. DS13 was in the back of the vehicle at the time and while we were getting ready to pull out he unhooked his lap belt in the middle of the back seat, reached over and grabbed the belt/shoulder harness from the right side and pulled it all the way across and buckled it on the left side. He then took the belt/shoulder harness on the left and pulled it across and did the same thing on the right side so he was crisscrossed by the two belts and said "I'm gonna die!!!". DS18 didn't think it was funny, but I was about to fall in the floor laughing!!! :lmao:

I'll say an extra prayer for you Leisa! :lmao::rotfl: I'll say another prayer when you see how much your car insurance goes up! :rotfl: I just about passed out when I saw ours! I have to say when my DS got his permit he was a pretty good driver from the first. So far (knock on wood) he has had no accidents!

I hope they call you today about the job! I'll say another prayer for that to! :)

Hurray for Mikki!:drive: So sorry for your nerves and brake reflex!:lmao: It is actually quite funny that if you break down the hour a day she won't be getting her license until she's almost 18. How long do you think it'll take for her to start asking for more than an hour a day??

I hope you found out about the job last night. They seem to be taking quite a long time to make a decision on what should be a no brainer for them!:goodvibes

Busy, busy, busy!! I think after I get back from Anara's dentist appt. I'll have time to hang out with ya'll!! Meantime, hope those of you who have the day off have a fabulous time!! Sing, laugh, and REMEMBER!!! Your singing and laughing have come at an extremely high price!! Take a minute or two to thank God for our freedoms and liberty, and if you know someone who has served for those causes, call them and thank them~~~

Back later!

Liesa, Mary and all the crew...,
I am finally back on the Dis boards after our awesome wonderful can't wait to be back Disney Trip and I have great news too but you will have to check out my thread to find out what it is. Now I am going to go back and read the last 25 pages that I missed while I was at the World of Mouse and talk to everyone later.

Our grandpa's first car cost him $95 and broke down before he got it home. Let's hope Mikki's car is better than that!
