REALLY!!?? 10K in 1;15? That is SO fast!! I imagine it'd take me about 1 hour and 35 to 40 minutes.
Unfortunately it is pretty slow in athletic standards and for some reason, here in Germany running a 10k is something mainly only true athletes do. So I expect to arrive as one of the last 50 of the 3000 people running...

I think for my running I"m going to have to start back at W 4 or so with the C25K Program. It'd been THAT long.
You will be surprised how easy it is to take up running again, once you "learned" how to do it!

Here's the plan:
Zumba in Mondays
Lap swimming on Wednesdays
Track Running on Friday or Saturdays.
As with all things exercise related... we'll see...
Great plan! Zumba and swimming ought be really good cross training for your imagined arm-flab-issue

See! THat' me. We''re trying to LEAVE people!! I guess w/o that stamp they assume you've been living illegally? It is so strange to me, even still, that you would have to even "register" when you arrive to a city, and then again if you move.
We have this register system as well (but only for real residents, not for visitors). It can be very useful, especially from a law-enforcement point of view.
I just called our best friends this morning, but my skype line was so bad, I could barely hold a conversation!! IT was VERY frustrating! We need to find a better solution, so I can hear them!
That's a shame, I hope you can find something better, soon! Perhaps there are calling cards that offer good rates?
Meantime, I just found out that a 2008 ROTC graduate of Western Kentucky UNiv. where my son is going, and is ALSO in ROTC, was killed in action in Afghanistan yesterday. It will be a VERY sobering reminder of the gravity of his decision to contract with the army as he and his cadre gives his fellow soldier a memorial service on Wednesday.
How sad. It must be hard for these young men to be aware of the danger they are in on a daily basis once they get out of university. I am not sure I could deal with that.
