How many jalepeno cream cheese pretzels can you find on earth that happen to have this in the background while eating it?

I am feeling really mean, but I think those pretzels are no more.... I remember there being quite some upheaval about the change of snack items at DAK and I know for sure that the turkey legs went the way of the dodo (yes, pun intended, even if it is not a very good one...). And I think some pretzels were victims of this reshuffle as well. I have no interest in a pretzel that was not produced by a baker with German or Austrian training (yes, my DBF is right, I am a bread snob. And I am proud of it!), so it did not affect me.

play arcade games...

And now I am feeling even worse as the arcades followed those turkey legs into oblivion. Something about gambling not allowed for minors in Florida...

Clearly, this needs about a gallon of sauce on it; hopefully, that can be requested.

Unless it has changed with the big Fame Tree refurb: There are BBQ sauce stations. I remember the one closest to the food ordering windows having a choice of at least two different sauces: spicy and sweet.

I'm tossing around Fultons, WGPE, EoS, and some others, but we may end up at a resort on the monorail if we decide to do a monohop.

Not sure if Fultons will be open by then, but Disney Springs seems to have plenty of new and interesting dining locations. STK might be a bit too much (high end steakhouse in a modern design), but Boathouse or Morimoto might be fun. For more casual meals, there is D Luxe Burger (reviews say burgers are very good, fries are too expensive), Amorette's, a gourmet bakery, a place with fancy hot dogs and many others. And then I can always recommend my true and trusted Portobello for your standard Italian comfort food at decent prices and according to Michael's last visit there recently, still very decent portions.

Victoria and Alberts. Where I still don't have a Dinner Partner.

I would love to join you if I could!! But Michael would kill me if I went there without him, even if he is one meal ahead of me there already.

By the way, I bought my dress for this very special dinner.... I bet you wanna see it. Sorry, you'll have to wait.

Oh!! Don't want to wait!!!!!!

Yum, yum, yum! I had one in December and it was delicious!

In all seriousness, we should be pretty satisfied until what may possibly be the most awesome meal during our trip- The FLYING FISH!!

Glad that you are getting to eat here after the anticipation and bonus that it will be with Dis friends!

This may a good day to not even have a plan and hope for the best at getting in somewhere walk up.

Sometimes the no plan day is the best kind of day!

but you know the old saying, "Make hay while the sun shines."

Yes. I do know.
But I fear for today's youth.
Everytime I start a sentence with "You know the old saying" it always ends with blank looks from the kiddos.

Meantime, just sit back, put on your bib, and enjoy the montage of foodaliciousness.

Thanks for the bib.
After all those photos, it's a requirement.

42

When I got one of these bad boys last trip, it was as big as my face.

Meh. You're petite. So it's not that big.

I ended up throwing half away because it went stale before I could finish it.

How long did you hang on to that thing????

The next logical place to hit up at the AK, our 2nd meal there, is obviously Flame Tree BBQ.

::yes::

Beans and pulled pork belong together like Abbot and Costello, Oreos and milk, Mickey and Minnie.

Unless you're like me and hate baked beans.
I'll take the cole slaw though.

You all know how long I've waited for this particular meal, shared with wonderful people.

::yes:: Wish I could join you guys but.... oh well.

The piece de resistance will certainly be the new Abracadabra Bar.

I'd love to go there! Looks like so much fun!

To say I'm just a little excited might be the most understated thing in print today.

The only solid plans start at Noon when we are supposed to kinda think about heading out to DTD (I ain't changing to DS)

You rebel you.

I'm tossing around Fultons, WGPE, EoS, and some others,

All worthy options.
From what I've heard. Haven't dined at any of them.

Victoria and Alberts. Where I still don't have a Dinner Partner.

Sorry. Wish I could. Truly.

After my meal, I'll walk out with a long stemmed red rose, and be able to say I've eaten at the most snobby place on property.

With nose held high while casting disparaging glares at the peons.

By the way, I bought my dress for this very special dinner.... I bet you wanna see it. Sorry, you'll have to wait.

You my dear... are a tease.

Yes, I'm going to eat up the hoity toity along with my prix fixe meal and bring it to you in all its glory after it's all said and done in my TR:

Can't wait!

Am I *that* overpowering? LOL!

No, it was just a take off on an old joke: "The human cannonball walks up to the ringmaster and says, 'I've had it! I quit!' The ringmaster says, 'Quit?! You can't quit. Where else will I find a man of your caliber?'"

Btw, I forgot to mention, I finally put the rest of my veggie garden in last week. I went to Ace, and they had purple cabbage! But their tomatoes looked sickly, so I went to a nursery my neighbor had recommended. I think they were running low, but still had better choices than Ace. And, they also had purple cabbage starts! So, I decided to maybe not plant quite as many green beans this year, to make room for a few cabbages.

Also, camping trip was fun! It was great to see a bunch of friends I don't get to see nearly as often as I'd like, including one I haven't seen in over 10 years. I did get confirmation that I really don't like canoeing very much, however. So, I sat out round 2, and got more chatting done. We also played a game called Secret Hitler. I never thought I would play a lighthearted game about Hitler, but there ya go. My dh was Hitler 3 times in a row. By the third time, it was pretty hilarious - and it didn't hurt that it was officially during quiet hours, and we had to try and keep our fits of laughter quiet! However, 2 nights was definitely plenty. Seven year old boys who like to argue game rules (Kubb) can get a little tiring...

:lmao:

5 minutes is what I can do between work!

Work, shcmerk. Such a necessary evil.

I'm a no more than once or twice a week burger guy.
Well, maybe three.

Four at the most.

Five if it's a really good burger.

But probably not six.

Maybe.

That's bordering on addiction. Do you need an intervention?

Lucky. If I make a special effort to make a meal before going to work, it won't be touched. If I don't I get complaints that there's nothing to eat.

It's a sucky catch 22. However, I see a lining at the edge of that cloud. More leftovers for you...

Funny. Had this exact conversation with Alison yesterday.

I haven't been very good at the in-between banter the last couple of weeks. :( So it must be that great minds simply think alike.

Nah. On the DIS I'm brilliant, but in real life I'm a dullard.
Lots of "Huh's?" and "Hunh's?"

The DIS: Portraying fake awesome personalities for decades

You said "Knock my socks off"
I meant you can't if you're not wearing socks.
(Hence the flip flops or sandals comment)
And if you were wearing socks with flip flops or sandals??? :sad2:

Oooooh, now I get it.

However, if you're dissin' my Crocs with socks.... (at least I was on a Harley, right?)

::yes:: Flexible.

My kids and I had an hour long debate after the movie on which super power was the coolest. We decided Jack-Jack's was.

This makes me relieved.... and then immediately sad.
No update? Awww.... poop.

I ponied up.

Yes! That's the reason I'd try it!

I could SWIM in that sauce.

Nah. It's all about me.

Mr. Incredible: Fly home, Buddy. I work alone. (Your tagline, perhaps?)

::yes:: Despite the number of TRs I've written in recent years, I haven't been all that often.

You only have to write about what YOU'VE done.

Oh, no. I was at work when I wrote that.
I was thinking of that morning.
I wanted to quickly write a sentence on the DISdads thread.
It went like this.

Sentence I want to type (for example): Hi all, raining here this morning but supposed to clear up.

What actually happened: h (need two hands for a capital, hang on) AAS (stop squirming Luna) HF (stop) Hi (no, don't move) al (just hang on for a second) all, rakwejo (get your butt off the keyboard) raiatrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkltrkl (bad dog! do not bite the keyboard) raining h (OUCH!! don't bite me either!) here (hold still!) this mo (yes, thank you for licking my face. I love you too. But can you let me finish this line?) morni (don't bite the chair arm) morning.... (ah crap. I give up. Good enough. <POST!>)

Yes, so somewhat like a Burrito Supreme in one's hands, then. except it's taco sauce, not dog slobber.

I don't know if I have a favourite.
Depends on my mood I suppose.

The apple pancake they make at The Pancake House is probably pretty high up there though.

OH... looky, another "ou" slipped in.

Too sweet. Needs sour cream to tame it.

Not deep fried, just fried in a pan with a little butter.

I approve. We do up LO fried rice with eggs on top. Equally nice.

I have to say this was one of my fave things to eat at MK - at CHH...because I got so sick of the deep fried...though that is good too lol.

I like the lighter fare they have as well. Deep fried is sometimes too heavy for a hot day in the sun.

During food and wine...sigh...I wanted to make ALL my meals out of that lol. There is just so much good stuff to eat and perfect little portions lol. But you have a good strategy of a sit down meal and dessert at F&W plus some bevvies...especially if you can stay out late lol

I have a feeling that there will plenty of dollars spent on cute little portions around the World. ;) I have to get some more research done on things in that dept.

Someone else said they had one in Dec., but that was a bit ago, and you may be right. Gosh darn it! There are lot of newer, smaller kiosks though, so maybe something will pop up that looks equally amazing.

And now I am feeling even worse as the arcades followed those turkey legs into oblivion. Something about gambling not allowed for minors in Florida...

How on Earth is playing Donkey Kong gambling?! That would be just weird if that's why they took them out.

Unless it has changed with the big Fame Tree refurb: There are BBQ sauce stations. I remember the one closest to the food ordering windows having a choice of at least two different sauces: spicy and sweet.

Excellent! The more sauce, the better!

Fulton's is a bit dicey, as you say, but I'm intrigued with Morimoto. Will also look at Portobello as well... both great suggestions!

I would love to join you if I could!! But Michael would kill me if I went there without him, even if he is one meal ahead of me there already.

Well, we don't want *that*! I'd hate to have him mad at me before I even get to meet him. ;) Hopefully, that will happen someday, anyway.

Oh!! Don't want to wait!!!!!!

Yum, yum, yum! I had one in December and it was delicious!

I do so terribly hope they are still around in October. I know there's been a bit of scuttle butt with additions and subtractions at AK, but those seemed like a big hit. I'd hate to see their demise!

Glad that you are getting to eat here after the anticipation and bonus that it will be with Dis friends!

Yes, Ma'am!!

Sometimes the no plan day is the best kind of day!

I completely agree! But I have an idea brewing...

Yes. I do know.
But I fear for today's youth.
Everytime I start a sentence with "You know the old saying" it always ends with blank looks from the kiddos.

I get a lot of those even without starting any sentence with that. We are in deep doo...

Thanks for the bib.
After all those photos, it's a requirement.

I'm almost to that age when I need one without photos.

:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Meh. You're petite. So it's not that big.

I wear my smile pretty big. Does that count?

How long did you hang on to that thing????

A day and a half. Long enough to be as hard as the last math test I took.

Unless you're like me and hate baked beans.
I'll take the cole slaw though.

Blasphemy! However, if you put your cole slaw on the sammie, I might give you a pass. Maybe. We'll see...

::yes:: Wish I could join you guys but.... oh well.

Still crying a bucket. There may be other opportunities to join up again.

I'd love to go there! Looks like so much fun!

If they really deliver, maybe we could have them conjure you up with a quick hocus pocus.

You rebel you.

I know. It's a bit of a fault of mine.

All worthy options.
From what I've heard. Haven't dined at any of them.

I have some ideas brewing... More coming.

Sorry. Wish I could. Truly.

I know you do. I'll take a rain check.

With nose held high while casting disparaging glares at the peons.

Of course. It's my one night I can hold my nose up high and it not be because of *something* at work that no human should have to endure.

You my dear... are a tease.

I can be. Is that ok?

No, it was just a take off on an old joke: "The human cannonball walks up to the ringmaster and says, 'I've had it! I quit!' The ringmaster says, 'Quit?! You can't quit. Where else will I find a man of your caliber?'"

:rotfl::rotfl: LOL! I hadn't heard that one before! Then again, you're older than me! :duck:

Btw, I forgot to mention, I finally put the rest of my veggie garden in last week. I went to Ace, and they had purple cabbage! But their tomatoes looked sickly, so I went to a nursery my neighbor had recommended. I think they were running low, but still had better choices than Ace. And, they also had purple cabbage starts! So, I decided to maybe not plant quite as many green beans this year, to make room for a few cabbages.

You are way ahead of me. I haven't touched mine in a couple of weeks other than to weed what I do have. My tomatoes have a long way to go, but we are up in the 90s this week and with some good watering I think they'll start to really take off. We've harvested and been eating bok choy for a few days, and the kale is ready to eat as well. REALLY need to get my carrots and other stuff in!

However, 2 nights was definitely plenty. Seven year old boys who like to argue game rules (Kubb) can get a little tiring...

We'll be camping soon too. Going to Central Oregon for a spell. Mostly just family this time, which is fine. I just need to read and relax and possibly just study for my Boards. That game sounds like Mafia that we play. We play a lot of European strategy board games that take a bit of time to get through, but we all enjoy it. Catan, Caracassonne, 7 Wonder, The Castles of Burgandy, etc...

We liked the sausages better than the chicken skewer. The children's portions were truly small.

I'd imagine they are. I'm hoping they haven't downsized the adult portions too much so my splitting strategy works.

Lobster roll - yum. For some reason I forgot that it was a cold sandwich, but very yummy. One of my favorite places to eat!

Last time we were there, they didn't even have it, so I'm dying to try it this time!

As to the rest of the food envy, I will enjoy living vicariously through you!

Please do! I promise a good TR too, with loads of photos!

I Have a (Food) Dream- Pt. 4

Day 7-

Meal Something. Frankly I've lost track, and I am more than certain you have too; assuming you *might* have been keeping track in the first place.

ETA: Dammit. You were right and I was....less right. It's gross Starbucks now.

Anywhoooo... who's up for a little something at the Main Street Bakery for breakfast? Sounds rather unanimous to me. If you're not, you're just wrong. Because they have things like this:

Main-Street-Bakery_Full_9757.jpg

and this:

MM_-_Bakery-11.06.12-025.jp.jpg

And yes. I can eat a Rice Krispy Treat for breakfast if I want to. But I probably won't. See that chocolate eclair up there??

It's a little bit of a nostalgic, poignant tradition to enjoy a choco croissant, just as I did with my aunt on our last trip together.

She was so beautiful, even while struggling to live.

I may sit on a bench and not hurry to get anywhere, or I may just skip down Main Street as I enjoy a few memories of her and our trips to Disney together once upon a time.

Lunch will have to be a walk up. Why? Because Brook was unable to get an ADR for Skipper's Cantina. And we're pretty sure they just aren't taking them? Regardless, that's ok. The place has been getting mediocre reviews at best, so if we get in, fine. If not, and the reviews still continue to be crappy, we'll head over to Cosmic Rays- a place I've never tried. Roast Chicken is pretty hard to biff up.

But first, a menu:

Cosmic-Rays-Starlight-Cafe-Menu.jpg

IMG_1685.jpg

Ribs, of course, are just yummy. Always. But I doubt one meal will feed all 3 of us. I'm pretty sure there's something there than can be shared as a 2nd meal to get us through to dinner. But honestly, a roast chicken can feed 4 of us at home for 2 meals, so it won't have to be much. Don't those look tasty? And, no, I'm not talking about the green beans in case you were confused.

Sonny will see us off to a new park- back to EPCOT- for some more DISFriends Fun. I don't know about you, but I cannot think of, or name, one single person that doesn't like pizza. So what better place to meet up than VIA NAPOLI where the pies are vomited out by 3 mustached men.

Via-Napoli-Menu-1.jpg

I can see 4 really great reasons to visit this place as soon as possible.

via_napoli_pizza2_st.jpg

Prices are high, but the views are more than decent.

I won't even bother to offer $100 bucks to whoever can guess where I'm headed to next. It's a no-brainer and 4 countries over. (Okay, technically, it could be 7 countries over if you go the other idiotic way around, but none of you would do that. Right? RIGHT?!)

I'll save the Adult Beverage(s) of choice for another day, but obviously we'll be hitting The Ditch- where once you fall in, it's awfully tough to climb back out. I can't think of a better way to round out Day 7 than a refreshing nightcap of margs.

Day 8-

Moving Day. Packing up the stuff and heading away from the riff-raff (where we'll have been a happy part of for 7 nights) and over to uptown, or Savannahtown, or Serengetitown, or whatever you want to call the schwankyness of AKL. We've movin' on up... to the Eastside, and setting up shop amongst the zebras, giraffes, and buzzards. Cuz buzzards are cool. We put steaks on the barbie the other night and within 2 minutes one HUUUUUGE buzzard swooped down right next to the deck to check out the goods. He missed the grill which was really a shame; I've always wondered how they tasted.

Being that we'll be bussing it over to our new digs, it seems logical that Mara will suffice for breakfast. And any of these offerings looks mouth-wateringly amazing. Pavlov would be proud right now. 2 of these ought to MORE than do it for us
even if we eat a little later around 9:00 or so.

disney1112water100.jpg

The BFP has us spending a little time at the pool this morning as well, where we can swim off all those calories before we head on over to Sanaa- a must-do from last time where I can have a repeat performance of this:

AKL_sanaa_breadservice1_glover.jpg

Come to Mama, little ones. I want to eat you. And you. And you, too.

images

The Pick 2 curry will be our 2nd meal. We may need a 3rd dish, and I'm sure we can find something yummy! I'm prepared to go over budget here and be completely at peace with that. It's just that good. Might even get me a dessert here, which is something we RARELY EVER do.

That'll set up us up well to not have to eat for quite a while. And who would want to when we've got so much to do when we get to AK? With the new nighttime hours, and 3 FiPs we'll have to burn, I can see us being very busy bees. Brook was also unable to get ADRs for Yak It and Yeti, so we may just find a kiosk and snack our way through the dinner hour. In fact, the Yak It and Yeti To-Go has some nice looking options for that.

yak-and-yeti-local-food-cafes-3-31-12.jpg

One of my most distant memories from our very first trip to AK in 2000 was holding an egg roll in an inferno hot park which threatened to suck the very air from my lungs while we watched some monkeys and wondering what the heck this weird park even was. We left. All I remember were egg rolls and monkeys.

Somewhere in there both AK and I grew up and now we're best friends.

Of course, the park has a gazillion other options, so I'm not too worried that we don't have a solid plan.

So, Kiddleywinks, it's well after midnight here, and I have a long day ahead- that I'm already getting too little sleep for. I'll let you ruminate on this for a few days and try to post another update soon. One week from today, I have a HUGE group presentation to give and Pinning is on the 10th. Lots of work to be done for both yet, mostly because I'm massively procrastinating.

Ohoh, I am so sorry!! Are you aware that the Main Street Bakery is now a Starbucks?? It still sells pastries, but mainly Starbucks ones... If you are after a cinnamon roll, those are at Gaston's Tavern now.

Yes, Skipper's Cantina only has day of reservations. Supposedly works very well as it is still not overrun by people. If you go CS, you might want to change this meal out with the dinner at Columbia Harbour House. We ran into trouble when we wanted to eat at CHH because it always closed so early. I think they were never open for dinner when we were there in December 2014. Of course this could have changed since then, but wanted to alert you! I think the opening times for the CS restaurants are on the time guide, so check there!

I don't know about you, but I cannot think of, or name, one single person that doesn't like pizza. So what better place to meet up than VIA NAPOLI where the pies are vomited out by 3 mustached men.

:rotfl2:

I think we will try to eat there on our next trip as well. It does look very good!

I won't even bother to offer $100 bucks to whoever can guess where I'm headed to next. It's a no-brainer and 4 countries over.

France?

Being that we'll be bussing it over to our new digs, it seems logical that Mara will suffice for breakfast.

Mara is great for breakfast! And I loved getting the childrens Mickey Waffle breakfast there. It came with three small Mickey waffles, bacon and apple sauce (I got them substituted for grapes) and a small drink. Was perfect for me and I felt that it was nearly the same portion as the large adult waffle, but far cheaper and had the OJ included!

Brook was also unable to get ADRs for Yak It and Yeti, so we may just find a kiosk and snack our way through the dinner hour.

I think this might change once they adjust the AK opening hours. Isn't AK currently still set to close at 5pm during your trip? Once they extend the hours, the ADRs will become available.

One of my most distant memories from our very first trip to AK in 2000 was holding an egg roll in an inferno hot park which threatened to suck the very air from my lungs while we watched some monkeys and wondering what the heck this weird park even was. We left. All I remember were egg rolls and monkeys.

Oh, yes, I have a similar memory of 2004 when we had ribs at Flame Tree, which we loved, but otherwise did not get the point of the park at all. It was baking hot and just seemed so odd. Now it is my favorite park at WDW.

1. Agree whole heartedly that it needs sauce.
2. I would never put cole slaw in my sammie.... But! If it was already in the sammie, I'd like it.
I just never think to put it in.

Still crying a bucket. There may be other opportunities to join up again.

That would be nice Liesa.

Too bad. I'd like to try that place.

The place has been getting mediocre reviews at best,

...but had not heard that.
Although I wonder if it's because the food is a little bit more eclectic than what the average MK goer is used to?

Don't those look tasty? And, no, I'm not talking about the green beans in case you were confused.

Thanks for clarifying.

I don't know about you, but I cannot think of, or name, one single person that doesn't like pizza.

Hmmmm...... My Dad's not a huge fan. He's more of a meat and potatoes guy.

where the pies are vomited out by 3 mustached men.

Thanks for that image...

Prices are high, but the views are more than decent.

Our waitress was kinda cute...

but obviously we'll be hitting The Ditch- where once you fall in, it's awfully tough to climb back out.

Never been there... and I really like Margs, so not sure why not.
Probably a "no time" kinda thing.

One of these days I'm going to go to Disney and not rush all the time.

We've movin' on up... to the Eastside,

Well done.

We put steaks on the barbie the other night and within 2 minutes one HUUUUUGE buzzard swooped down right next to the deck to check out the goods. He missed the grill which was really a shame; I've always wondered how they tasted.

I heard they weren't very good.

No idea where I heard that.

Sanaa- a must-do from last time where I can have a repeat performance of this:

AKL_sanaa_breadservice1_glover.jpg

Yes! Saw that for the first time not long ago on a couple of TRs.

One of my most distant memories from our very first trip to AK in 2000 was holding an egg roll in an inferno hot park which threatened to suck the very air from my lungs while we watched some monkeys and wondering what the heck this weird park even was.

We left. All I remember were egg rolls and monkeys.

:lmao:

So, Kiddleywinks, it's well after midnight here, and I have a long day ahead

I'm already in mine (as are you by now, I'm sure)
Up at 5:00 fed the dogs work by 6:30 til 14:30 then rush over to the school to pick up Kay then over to the grocery store to get.... something for supper, hurry up, cook, eat, out the door by 5:30 for dance recital by 6:00 til... probably around 10:00 then straight to work for 10:45 til 7:00am.

Lots of work to be done for both yet, mostly because I'm massively procrastinating.

Good. Procrastinating is awesome.... unless someone else wants something.
But then, too bad!

J is for: Just Finished My Mortarboard

Who's ready to see my very cool, pretty d@mn fantastic, if I do say so myself, mortarboard. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how it turned out. I ended up going with a combination of ideas I'd seen on Pinterest, and am thrilled with the results. I may actually wear it to my Graduation Dinner at Flying Fish, which I just heard yesterday looks like it may start to be opening up for ADRs.

I had SO much fun making it today. The lady let me airbrush it to give the sunset. WOOT!

Love the way your mortarboard turned out! It's really awesome! Ooh...I hadn't head that about FF, do you know when they might be opening back up?

LOVE your mortarboard! That is absolutely the best I've ever seen!

What? You don't like Starbucks? Do you really live in the PNW? What brand do you like? Dutch Bros?

Sweet memories of your Aunt:littleangel:

We love Cosmic Rays! So far the chicken and ribs do not disappoint. They used to have a chicken ribs combo plate that we could split. Try to sit in the front area. Really fun entertainment feature there.

Via looks really good! We need to try it sometime. I'm guessing it won't be top of Jim's list. We have a place with a similar menu, fire grilled with similar prices here, and he doesn't care to go again, too gourmet and too much $$ for his liking. :goodvibes

Ohoh, I am so sorry!! Are you aware that the Main Street Bakery is now a Starbucks?? It still sells pastries, but mainly Starbucks ones... If you are after a cinnamon roll, those are at Gaston's Tavern now.

Well, crap. That just really sucks. Not only that it has changed, but that I didn't remember that it had. I totally knew there was a Starbucks, but I guess I did not realize, or it just not fully sunk in, that it REPLACED! the Bakery. Boooooo! Starbucks is NOT good coffee; I live in the PNW, and know what good coffee is. Perhaps once up a time, a million years ago, when it was a tiny little kiosk in Pike Place it was "good" coffee. I will probably go the way of the Obliviouses and go to Joffreys and get a quad shot there. Then maybe hit up Gaston's or some other place for a pastry. (Do you see the little tear rolling down my face?)

That may be an idea! I think it MIGHT be open though since the parties will be in season and guests will be there for dinner maybe more often. Although, you were there for The Christmas Party season, so maybe not. After Graduation, this whole schedule is going to get a fine tooth combing and little kinks like that ironed out.

:rotfl2:

I think we will try to eat there on our next trip as well. It does look very good!

It looks lively and fun too! The prices are a bit steep, but that's completely expected too.

Uhhh... no.

Nice hint! Children's meals are definitely a good option for light eaters!

I think this might change once they adjust the AK opening hours. Isn't AK currently still set to close at 5pm during your trip? Once they extend the hours, the ADRs will become available.

It is certainly possible. They've sure made a big deal out of their nighttime stuff there with loads of things going on from parades, to the JB show, to the Tree Lighting and Safaris.

Oh, yes, I have a similar memory of 2004 when we had ribs at Flame Tree, which we loved, but otherwise did not get the point of the park at all. It was baking hot and just seemed so odd. Now it is my favorite park at WDW.

I think its early days were dismal, and it had no point. But I like that it DID develop into a really incredible park with a story that the Imagineers knocked out of the park... so to speak.

Need? Possibly. Want?.... no.

Guess what I had for lunch today? And yes, it was even bigger than my face. So big I had to <gasp!> eat it with a fork and knife.

Hmmm.... If I'm alone, who's there to see me preen?

That is certainly a dilemma. If a bear farts in the forest...

And the burrito isn't jumping and squirming an trying to commit suicide by jumping off your lap.

No, but I've had some that make me wanna do that.

That's "louky".

Touche!

Nahhhh... You're still just a young lass.

39 is feeling great. Again.

Hmm... I'll be honest here.
1. Agree whole heartedly that it needs sauce.
2. I would never put cole slaw in my sammie.... But! If it was already in the sammie, I'd like it.
I just never think to put it in.

So the following quote was meant to go with that, then. VV

Mine is more.... dull.

That would be nice Liesa.

Yes. Yes, it would.
