The ABC's of Trip Planning, Pt 1- K is for Keeping Things Kooky- Drinks V-Z; pg. 197 + New Link

Both of my girls were exactly "2 weeks" early from the ultrasound data, but exactly on their due dates according to my data. Maybe ultrasounds are not totally accurate, or I was in the lucky 38 week club.

They go with several things, but with the US specifically they go by long bone and head circumference measurements. If the baby is small (from genetics- like ours were) it may estimate it younger.

Yup, poor DHS. I'm also planning one 1/2 day, and will see what the current state looks like.

It's sad. :( I'm interested to hear your take on it. I"ve been reading and most people are just plain sad.

Yay - Disney Date Night!

:love2:

I think I most admire people's planning for the detail involved. I even think of setting foot into a park and my planning brain still turns to happy mush!

Makes the trip feel like it lasts that much longer. And makes for a happier trip in general.

Ok, Friends,

All caught up in most places! Phew! I managed to study a little, visit all your threads (if I haven't found you, PLEASE send me a link and I"ll get there ASAP!) and update. Tomorrow I'll be in the Day Surgery Unit at a local hospital, and then will have to prep for lecture on Wednesday. The days and weeks are zipping by!! Love you all!!

Those are the 2 types of dancing that got me jazzed about dancing in the first place! When I was growing up I'd go to Summer Camp for 2 weeks every year which was a working ranch in the Sierra Nevadas outside of Bakersfield, CA. We watched a slaughter every Tuesday so we could SEE where meat came from (it doesn't grow in the cases all packaged up in the grocery store, I learned), worked in the garden weeding, I hauled cement for a little dam they built, we rock climbed, learned to sail, rode horses (broke my ankle twice at camp), and danced at barn dances every Friday night. BEST part of my growing up! A lot of the kids were rich Jewish kids from the Valley so we learned to do Jewish folk dancing. Of course there were square dances too, and it's where I learned to polka. Oh such wonderful memories!!! Dancing is GREAT fun!

That sounds like a pretty awesome camp!

Buahahahahaha! That is hilarious! I'll bet your trainmates were freaking out; lololol, maybe they thought you had Ebola! Were you taking coumadin or another blood thinner med?? Did you get your platelets checked?? I passed out once in public too and came to with a bunch of hottie paramedics standing over me. That was in college. But it was super embarrassing!

Gawd I don't know what they thought but I'm sure they were happy when I didn't let them stop the train lol. I wasn't on anything but I've been told I have difficult veins...so who knows...maybe they had to try really hard to get one and then..boy did they get one lol. It was embarrassing too lol But sadly the paramedics were not hottie like yours lol

Gotta love adult only nights :) I'm tossing Artist's Pointe and CG. I told the DF about the Bison steak at CG.. and there's one at AP. The positive to CG is the view. But I have decided since it will be the last time we see wishes that trip, I would rather be in the park. On main street. With just my then DH with me. :) then we can ride any rides we missed through the week with the littles.

You sound like me with the spreadsheets. I had to stop handwritten them and put them in a spreadsheet. It was dricing me nuts.

I absolutely love the period style dresses!

I also have a PTR, but I'm on mobil right now so can't link it.

Budgeting $150/ day for food, that's 2 days of Eats taken care of in a matter of 2 days!

Having just been there, $150/day seems pretty optimistic... although if you don't need to dine with princesses, you might not blow your entire day's budget in one meal.

I have to agree that I think this is being very optimistic even with splitting meals 2 ways. If you go to say...Peco's Bills for lunch, their average meal is $12.63. If you get 3 meals because you are splitting 2 of them...that is still almost $38. Be Our Guest for lunch average meal is $13.33. Again taking 3 meals into consideration, that's $40. Then looking at breakfast...If you do BOG for breakfast, their breakfast meals are $21.99 and getting 3 would be $66. Breakfast at Old Port Royale (quick service at Caribbean Beach) on average is $7.87 x 3 = 23.62, but that is also figuring in their smaller stuff like the parfaits which really would only be for 1 person. Only way I could see $20 for breakfast is if everyone in your family is just a roll or muffin for breakfast kinda family. Then you might be able to swing $20 for breakfast. I think the $100 for dinner you would be ok with depending on where you are going for this. If you are doing things like The Plaza Restaurant, you will be great... but for any types of buffets (which you have to pay for everyone because you can't share!)or signature restaurants... you are figuring very low. The other question I would ask, for the dinner, are you trying to include tip in with that dinner amount? because if you are...then $100 for dinner is not enough IMO. I am also one who would rather budget high and end up with extra $$ than be pushing it and running close on funds!

Nothing says fun like withdrawing alcoholics having seizures!!!

I have been watching "Nurse Jackie" and the last episode was about this very thing. Sad.

Wow! That is so frightening but it is amazing that you defied the odds. Thank you for sharing your story!
I am so happy to hear that you made such an amazing recovery! Thank you for sharing your story, as scary as it was, in the end the outcome is wonderful. Even if you are still dealing with so many health problems from the after effects of chemo. Sending lots of good wishes for the continuous fight for good health!
WOW You really have been through so much and probably amazed every doctor along the way. Thank you for sharing your story and I hope you continue to amaze doctors with being healthy and minimal side effects.
That IS quite an amazing tale of heroism, defying the odds and someone who overcame despite some very awful stuff. And even still you face a lot of challenges with such a great attitude. I loved your story of courage and with your permission I'd like to pass it on to the instructor who will be teaching the Oncology Content for the next (maybe the test after next??) Exam. It's a perfectly typed up Case Study that may help others study and learn the content better. I absolutely will not use any names, only your age and exactly as you typed it. And only if you say so. :) Thank you SO much for sharing- it really is nice to see a success story with relation to cancer!!!

Thank you all for your kind words! I am a firm believer that EVERYTHING happens for a reason. With out this experience in my life, I would not have grown to have the strength I have today. There is not a day that goes by that I am not able to help someone. I work in an inbound call center, customer service, for a phone company and every day I speak to at least 1 person (not exaggerating) who is calling in because they can't afford services any longer due to bills from fighting cancer themselves or with a loved one. I have found that 1/2 the battle is positive thinking, so I share my story to help encourage others to keep their heads up. I never really know the outcome from sharing, but I do believe that some how, some way, I am making a difference by encouraging others to stay positive and keep faith that what ever comes will be for some reason that they may not understand now, but at some point it will make sense. Liesa you are more than welcome to use my story. If it helps any one, I am all for it, whether it encourages someone to keep their head up during a difficult time, or it helps someone in training to understand what others may go through in a specific situation. It helps to share and encourage, so share away. I am not worried about my name being used. (It is Jenn by the way) You asked me earlier what it was and I forgot to respond to it. I won't put my last name in the forums but if you do need it or want it, I will PM you with it. ) It is rare to hear of a sad situation that turns out so well. My name being attached to it is something I am very lucky to have. It is already a lengthy story with out every detail but if you need more, just let me know.

Yep, that looks exactly like the one that my friend currently has (and hates) for her chemo treatments. Made me realize that I'm very lucky that mine is much smaller, simpler, and all under my skin:

I don't know why they like to use external ones for Chemo patients but everyone I have known going through Chemo gets the external ones. You would think it would make more sense to use the ones that are less maintenance but there must be some logic behind it.

OK well since we are sharing...my story is just a little bit funny about this....so you know when you are pregnant and you have to get blood taken like, every day, or so it seems. I went to get mine taken and by this time, it was so routine. They take your blood, slap on a bandaid and say "hold that a bit" So I do. And then I go on my way, walk to the subway and get on the train to go back to work after....Standing there holding on to a pole for balance...and all of a sudden this guy looks at me and says "OMG are you ok? And he looks down at my arm" And there is blood...GUSHING down my arm onto the floor in the middle of a crowded subway train...gah!! I almost passed out myself and all these people are asking me if I'm ok. Guy goes to press the emergency alarm between stations and I scream "NOOOOO, don't make me be the cause of a subway delay...I will be ok until the next stop!!!" So I put pressure on my arm until the next stop where I get off and THEN they call the paramedics...who come clean me up and send me home lol

That is scary! Do you have issues with blood clotting? Are you on any type of blood thinners? I would have been freaking out on the inside!

38 WEEK MARKparty:

is a pretty big deal!!!!

That's exactly how long it takes to gestate a human baby, by the way. (Yes, I realize 40 weeks is more average, but 38 weeks is considered "Term".)

This was actually my thoughts too. I thought "hmmm are we going to Disney or are we cooking a baby here?" :duck:.

I am with you on the excitement even though it is 38 weeks. My next trip is still over a year away and I am counting down. I told my kids last night that I am going to keep everything a surprise. I told them I wasn't even going to tell them the day we were leaving. I was gonna wait until the night before to pack all their things(mine of coarse will be done weeks ahead of time) once they are in bed so they don't have any clue and then wake them up the next morning and tell them we are going. I told them I am not even going to tell them the resort we are going to stay in and when we get to Orlando I am going to make them walk backwards so they can't see the resort line we get into for the ME. LOL their response to me..."yeah, right mom, like that will EVER happen. You have to much time to leak the truth." The sad thing is... is they are right, soooo the challenge is on! I have contemplated doing a PTR just so I have someone to talk to about it and will have less of a chance to spill the beans to them, but I have never done one before so am a bit washy about it! Until this nursing stuff I haven't really posted much even though I have been on the boards for almost 2 years now. The most I have posted else where is the picture of the day thread. We will see.

Remember way back when I mentioned my neighbor who does the F&W as a Wine Rep for Willamette Valley Vineyards? Yeah, she said she's doing it again, and can probably still get us into the Artist's Point as guests of the Gen Mngr

Date night! This sounds amazing. Fingers crossed that this works out for you! I have yet to feel that my kids would be safe enough to do this. My DD will be 17 on our next trip though... so maybe as a surprise to DH...hmmm plotting and scheming!

Indulge me now, if you will.

I always will.

reaching the...
38 WEEK MARK
is a pretty big deal!!!!

Why?

That's exactly how long it takes to gestate a human baby

Oh. Nevermind.

WHERE is the Tag Fairy when you need her???!!!

RIP

Just the legs. Is there really any other parts you CAN eat?

I don't know! I don't see why not.
Seems to me I've seen a frog on a spit... but could be wrong.

That sounds like a pretty awesome camp!

It was super awesome amounts of fun! I was very thankful my parents let us go every year.

Gawd I don't know what they thought but I'm sure they were happy when I didn't let them stop the train lol. I wasn't on anything but I've been told I have difficult veins...so who knows...maybe they had to try really hard to get one and then..boy did they get one lol. OH I'm sure they were! I think people are pretty twitchy about late trains in general. ;)

I also have a PTR, but I'm on mobil right now so can't link it.

The view is truly incredible, and the food is amazing at CG, but my guy is a through and through PNW-er. He'll really love Artist's Point for the décor, I think. Both are perfect spots for date night. I haven't been to Narcoosee's but wonder if that wouldn't be a good pick too.

My spreadsheet is a fluid document that sees changes every time I sit down to plan. I'm getting happier with the general layout, but I foresee many tweaks in the next months.

I will flick through the list of PTRs and see if I can find you.... ;)

I am also one who would rather budget high and end up with extra $$ than be pushing it and running close on funds!

Here is one example of what I'm thinking...

2 Breakfast platters at Food Court = $20.00 (We'll have GG juices and yogurts if we need to stretch) OR 3 pastries @6.00 each...$20 (We aren't big breakfast eaters (I may be doing GG for several of our breakfasts.)

2 CS meals @ $12.00 each = $24

3 snacks @4.00 each = $ 12

2 full dinners at a TS @ $30 each + 2 soups if needed to fill in the gaps + $20 tip = $100;

(ie. Keen Eye for the Shepherd's Pie -$19 AND Bangers and Booz - $20 AND 2 soups for $6 each = $46 + $15 tip.) We'll then hop over to Ghiradelli for dessert and share a small sundae. So still around $75.

It's just 3 of us (for most of the trip) and 2 of us really don't eat much. Last time we were there, the portions were insanely huge and we sent back WAY more food than we ate the first few meals. I have lots of cash built in for going hog wild, but this is the goal right now.

I don't have any buffets on our plan or character meals. So that'll save a good chunk of change. But you are right, I hope we can stay close to budget, but it may very well go over. And I'm ok with that.

I have been watching "Nurse Jackie" and the last episode was about this very thing. Sad.

I just heard about this show for the first time the other day. Sounds intriguing. Someone said it's pretty intense. After school is out, I'll have to check it out.

(It is Jenn by the way) You asked me earlier what it was and I forgot to respond to it.

Nice to meet you, Jenn!! I love making new friends here! It's a blast to meet them in person too; been a long time since I've had a proper DISMeet.

Liesa you are more than welcome to use my story.

Thank you! I will pass it along to my instructor tonight. :)

Date night! This sounds amazing. Fingers crossed that this works out for you! I have yet to feel that my kids would be safe enough to do this. My DD will be 17 on our next trip though... so maybe as a surprise to DH...hmmm plotting and scheming!

Yes! Amazing- although we'll have the few days after the Disney portion of the trip to have a bona fine couples vacation, the first in many, many years, for more date nights. But in Disney...:cloud9:

This was actually my thoughts too. I thought "hmmm are we going to Disney or are we cooking a baby here?" :duck:.

Cooking a baby sounds... morbidly hilarious. In this context.

I told my kids last night that I am going to keep everything a surprise. I told them I wasn't even going to tell them the day we were leaving.

Good luck. I'm hoping myself to pull of this one TINY little piece. :lmao:

I have contemplated doing a PTR just so I have someone to talk to about it

Precisely why I share here. My family thinks I'm nutzo. You probably do too, but you're all nice enough to not tell me. Well, most of you.

Oh. Nevermind.

I"m pretty good at that.

Seems to me I've seen a frog on a spit...

Ok, so I looked up images of cooking frogs. I absolutely cannot post them here. EW!

I googled "frogs on a spit" too. YOu should do it. Interesting.

By the way!!

Happy news! I was in pre-surg today and got an IV on my first try!! I almost did a little happy dance right there in the room. (Actually, I did. Just a little. They found it amusing.)

Thanks!! I will take a lot of photos for the TR; it'll be fun to share our Adventure with all of you!

Ok, past time for bed, so now I can reply and not feel guilty. I may be tired, but I can live with that. LOL!

Nice! We need good engineers, but I do know how stressful the field can be. I have a TON of friends that work for Intel, Boeing, etc... and my own hubby is an Engineering Geologist working for the State of Oregon. Long hours and a lot of ridiculous (and I use that lightly) deadlines. Hang in there! Breathe deeply, take the "Me" time you need, and have a glass of good wine when you need that too. Hopefully the season of stress is a short one, and you can have more normalcy sooner than later.

I plan (overplan most say) too, but can slow down if I need to when I'm actually there. The only thing I DON'T have wiggle room in there for is getting late starts unless they're built in. YOu can get 10 times more done in that first hour, than all day 2 hours later. Disney has so many fun, little hidden gems to hunt out and explore. This trip I want us to do the EPCOT games so we can get back into the nooks and crannies we may breeze on past. My camera helps me slow down too. The New Fantasyland will be completely NEW to us, and I'm so excited to see all the fun details I've read about, including the bathroom area. The new craze with interactive queues will be fun, I LOVE that they have phone charging stations, OH! Just so much that'll be fun to see!

Take your time.... I'll be at this for 9 more months. LOL! Upcoming chapters should include:

The rest of our itinerary, Scents of the Trip, Food picks, Adult drinking picks, snacks, Hidden gems, packing lists, shoes, and clothing stuff, planning books, ADR Day, FP+ picks, Top 10 lists for each park, so much good stuff coming. For now, the Disney part will be slow as I need to focus on school..... so I can GET to Disney. It's a long, tough Journey, and I'm so glad you're here to share it!!!

From your response, you definitely understand the job demands! I'm a chemical engineer while DH is a mechanical engineer. It can be very interesting and rewarding but also stressful. We also work outages and depending on the unit we are in, it can be once or twice a year 16 hour days for several weeks. We moved from Louisiana to Pennsylvania when Evie was 10 months old and it was a great experience but definitely challenging not having family to help us out Evie. I really miss PA on the other hand, though. The seasons were nice and the people were top notch. At one point we weren't sure we would ever move back because we liked it so much. But the job changed and for our degrees and experience in industry, strategically the Gulf Coast is the best place for us to be career-wise. We moved back to Louisiana just before Evie turned 3. I do enjoy being close to our families again but that can also mean being close to family drama. We are in a good spot right now with families and I'm thankful for that as well.

PHONE CHARGING STATIONS?! YASE!!! Hopefully it works logistically too!

I love the nooks and crannies comment. Hopefully we can slow down and enjoy the detail. I know you aren't into characters but at this point our family is. Even if we aren't by the trip, I HAVE to see Gaston and his silly comments. I've seen the YouTube videos and, for some reason, I'm SO excited about it!

I'm on page 74ish so I'm getting closer, lol!

Yes there are. The one they wanted to use on me was called a Hickman...here is a pic of what it would have been like. I could just see someone thinking it would be funny and pulling this sucker out. Kids are cruel... Also, I was going through Chemo in 1987-1988. I believe the Hickman was the only thing developed at that time. They have made some great advancements on how these are done now. Having those tubes hanging out and not being able to submerse in water for 1 1/2 years or longer. Nope. Not happening.

These were all things leading up to my diagnosis. It is a bit of a crazy story...but I will tell it since you asked... It is a bit lengthy too, so sorry to hijack your PTR pirate:

I was not one to go to the doctor much and my parents were not the type that run you to the doctor every time you sneezed. We didn't have yearly physicals like the kids (mine included) have nowadays. I think it had been almost 4 years since the last time I had been to the doctor. I was mowing the lawn 4 days before I became a critical patient. I had signs of it, but other than the weight loss, nothing that was noticeable by others, and since I didn't really speak up and say I was having issues, how were my parents to know? I was always a large teen...180+ lbs give or take, but still very active. The 6 months prior to being diagnosed I had dropped to 92 lbs but my mom thought it was just a teenage thing, as I was always made fun of for my weight. I was also having trouble swimming. I had actually flunked phys ed because I refused to swim. I couldn't breath very well and adding the water and needing to take quick breaths, it just wasn't happening. I never told my parents the real reason why or that I was having problems swallowing and would have to chew my food literally to almost liquid before I could swallow it or the food would get stuck and it would hurt for hours. I also did not tell her that I wasn't monthly monster visits (I had 2 other sisters at home, so she wouldn't have noticed anything from supplies not being used) The day I was finally taken to the doctor, I had actually went to the dentist and when we came out my side was hurting really bad and my mom finally took me to the doctor because she thought I was having an issue with my appendix. As soon as the doctor listened to my lungs, he sent me over to the ER to have an x-ray done because he thought I had pneumonia. Our family doctor showed up about 2 hours later at the ER which was just weird back then...but he came over himself to tell us that it wasn't pneumonia, they had found a tumor in my chest. At that time they said there was so much liquid in my chest that they couldn't see well, but they thought the tumor was the size of a large strawberry. I was admitted and they immediately put a chest tube in to drain the liquid and the total liquid was 2 1/2 quarts that was drained. They repeated the chest x-ray after draining all the liquid and the large strawberry tumor was upgraded to a small watermelon size tumor. The tumor was pressing my esophagus closed and that was why I was having trouble eating and of coarse the pressure on my lungs was causing trouble breathing. The mass had my left lung completely squished. there was no air going into it at all and fluid was preventing full use of the right lung,1/2 squished from the fluid. It had my heart pushed all the way up against my rib cage and all that lower stuff (kidneys, liver, ovaries, etc) was pushed down into my pelvis. I was immediately transferred by ambulance to our large hospital about 1 1/2 hours away to be treated by an oncologist. Once I got there, they admitted me and the next day they had a needle biopsy scheduled so they could find out what kind of tumor it was, but during the procedure, you had to lay flat on your back and keep really still. Because of the weight of the tumor, if I tried to lay on my back, I could not breath, so I could not stay still enough for them to do the needle biopsy. So that was nixed and the next day, they did a surgical biopsy. I woke up in ICU on life support because when they took the little sample of the tumor, it irritated the tumor and it swelled and completely cut of my airway. According to my momma, they lost me and brought me back, but I was unable to breath on my own due to the cut off of the airway from the swelling. They expected me to be on life support for at least 7 days until the swelling went away, but they told her if they did not start chemo within 72 hours, I would be gone and they gave her the option to remove me from life support because the odds of me making it were about 3%. When I woke up later that same day on life support, my mom told me what was happening and I realized then that I was fighting the machine. I was having to time my breathing with the machine or it would burst air into my lungs and hurt. I wrote to my mom that I wanted off the machine and she said no because of the swelling. I wouldn't listen to her and I wrote to her that if she didn't have them take me off of it, I would wait until no one was in the room and pull the tubes out. Of coarse she told the doctor and they tried to explain to me that the tube was there to get the air around the swelling, but I wouldn't listen, so the doctors agreed to decrease the rate of breaths to 1/2 and see how I tolerated that. I did ok with it, so after 48 hours on life support, they decided to try taking it out and see if the swelling had gone down enough to breath on my own. When they took the tubes out, I did have a bit of trouble breathing if I laid down... but I found that if I sat up with my legs crossed indian style, put a pillow in my lap, and laid forward over the pillows, It took enough of the weight off that I could take my own breaths, so that is what I did, for days. 12 hours later I was started on Chemo. I was taken out of ICU 4 days after that and moved to the Oncology wing where I would make my home for the next 6 weeks. I went through 2 different chemo regimens. ABVD ( Adriamycin, Blyomycin,Vinblastine, and Dacarbazine.) and MOPP (Mustargen, Oncovin, Procarbazine, and Prednisone). They started with MOPP and I did fine with it, didn't even get sick. they did 2 treatments while I was in the hospital, and then they sent me home. I had to go back in 2 weeks later so they could administer my first dose of ABVD, I would have to stay in the hospital for another 2 weeks. It did make me very sick, but they let me go back home after 1 week and 5 days. I called the ABVD my hard chemo and the MOPP my easy chemo (the mind of a teenager...easy chemo.. is there such a thing?).The Adriamycin was the worst. It made me sooo sick. They would give me meds to help with the nausea, but it NEVER worked. It also made all my hair fall out. (on a side note, when it started to grow back in, It was stick straight which I thought was amazing as I have naturally kinky curly hair and always dreamed of having straight hair). The MOPP was easy because it didn't burn going in and it didn't make me sick until toward the end of the cycles. They alternated my treatments...starting with ABVD, waiting 3 weeks, then MOPP, waiting 2 weeks and then ABVD again and so on for 14 cycles of the chemo. After the chemo, they said I was in remission and when I went back for my 3 month check up, they said there was new growth again, so had to do radiation treatments. 30 days. After that they said I was in remission again and have stayed in remission since. I think the thing that really helps me keep everything in perspective is my kids. I was told I would never have any due to the damage done to the eggs from the chemo/radiation. I have 3. Having that constant reminder of the miracle that was given to me makes it impossible to not be thankful for each and every day!

I wanted to respond to this yesterday but didn't get a chance. What an amazing story. You are so strong and have a wonderful attitude!

Woot! All caught up on your thread. I had a steroid shot today and I can't sleep. I need to get to bed soon but I'm super pumped to be caught up!

Good Morning My Peeples,

A couple of days of lecture, but hoping to get re-caught up again this afternoon. Starting Friday morning, I'll be going MIA until Wednesday Morning again. You know the drill..... A LOT of heavy stuff on this exam, reading irregular rhythms on an EKG strip, cardiac meds, the role of the RN in the ED, aneurysms.... fooooooocus Dudette.

Good Morning My Peeples,

All hail her majesty!

Remember the light at the end of the tunnel.
Strive for it.

It's just 3 of us (for most of the trip) and 2 of us really don't eat much. Last time we were there, the portions were insanely huge and we sent back WAY more food than we ate the first few meals.

For some reason I had it in my head there were going to be 5 of you not 3. So with that, then yes, I think $150 a day would be good with no buffets tagged in and eating light breakfasts. I don't eat much either (had gastric bypass surgery 4 years ago) so DH and I always share with the kids for breakfast. We get 2 breakfast platters and we just eat what they don't. Works well that way. We actually don't usually stop for lunch... we just do a "snack" for lunch and then have a larger dinner but around 4-5ish instead of later. 2 meals a day works well for us.

PHONE CHARGING STATIONS?! YASE!!! Hopefully it works logistically too!

It is nice that they have put these in place with the increasing need to use MDE in the parks. I bought a portable charger for our last trip, and it did work well, my only mistake is that I only bought 1. Having 2 smart phones and both DH and I on them to check wait times and fast passes, we were running out of juice quickly. 1 of us (aka: me because waiting in line for stuff with DH and no phone would have been misery) would have to forgo the charging and let our phone die because only 1 could be hooked up at a time. It was VERY nice to not be stuck at a charging station though!

A LOT of heavy stuff on this exam

Good luck with the studies and exam! May the focus be with you!:ewok:

The view is truly incredible, and the food is amazing at CG, but my guy is a through and through PNW-er. He'll really love Artist's Point for the décor, I think. Both are perfect spots for date night. I haven't been to Narcoosee's but wonder if that wouldn't be a good pick too.

My spreadsheet is a fluid document that sees changes every time I sit down to plan. I'm getting happier with the general layout, but I foresee many tweaks in the next months.

I will flick through the list of PTRs and see if I can find you.... ;)

Oh if I change, the Bison meat has to be there in some way. He's gotten used to that idea and think it will be neat to text his bros and be like guess what I am eating?? BISON!!!!!

I'm starting to like mine as well. I need Ann to settle on a flight of Tuesday or Wednesday so I know what days to switch. I want to do our darker side trek while they aren't there yet or when she's doing the expo, so I don't miss time with her. Louisiana to Washington isn't an easy jump to visit!

The link is in my signature.. my phone just hates me to copy and paste! Oh technology.

Good luck on the upcoming week!

And I love that you use dudette... my personal preference is broette. Haha!
