The ABC's of Trip Planning, Pt 1- K is for Keeping Things Kooky- Drinks V-Z; pg. 197 + New Link

Good morning! How exciting that you have a celebrity connection for F&W. Hope it works out for you!

I have always felt DHS was a half day park, too. Mostly because the organization or lack thereof makes me weary. But the last two trips we have had a great time there with Ryan so I have a new attitude. It stinks that they have the tier system on the FP there. Getting RNRC and TSMM at the same time ain't happenin. Trying to get TSMM at RD is still a stampede, but the line moves slowly. We did FP for that at 10 or so and hustled over to RNRC and TOT at RD.
I guess one of these days I will actually get to that day in my TR. Flu season at work and hiring and training 4 out of 6 in the past couple of months has left me too tired to address it. Hopefully things are settling down. We have big news so I need to get over there and share!

I do too; if not, I've budgeted for the meal and it'll all be good.

I do actually enjoy the Streetmosphere there a lot. Some of the characters are so stinking FUH-NEE! But again, probably and hour's worth of time, tops. Yeah.... the infamous tier system. NOT looking forward to figuring that out at all. We'll see....I do like your plan for the options that ARE available.

You sound SO busy! And not in a fun way at all. I hope things ease up for you soon, so we can see more of you!

Liesa- I will say a 1/2 day at DHs sounds about right and to save the FP+ for later is probably a good move.
AP or CG ... I have done CG and enjoyed it but I can see AP as well.

Hope date night and your cardiac chapter now go well. You got the beat ....:rotfl2:

I"ve not ever done AP, but after hearing RAVE reviews of the mushroom soup, I'm pretty excited to check it out. The theming is a little (too) familiar for vacation, but the food sounds GREAT!

^SNORK!! Good one!!

People get SO MAD about subway delays lol

What is WITH people?!

LOL! It was good study day, and this material (Aneurysms, 5 Critical Care lung dysfunctions like pneumothorax, and Acute Respiratory Failure, Abnormal Cardiac Rhythms, and Cardiac medications, and a whole lotta other crap) is really starting to come together for me. So, yeah, I'm in a good mood and feeling on top of my game! HAHAHA!

No, UN... BE.... LIESABLE!! ;)

:thumbsup2

Oh boy! Have a wonderful time! Sounds like a perfectly magical evening!

My steaks and games are sounding better and better. Take care and isolate. Don a mask, find a quiet corner and DIS all day.

At least now when the DDs are sick, when they ask for a hug I can just say "Ewww!! No!"

I don't remember where I saw you post it (maybe on my thread) but you mentioned that you might like to do one of the tastings during F&W. I've never done one of the tastings at the Festival Center, the ones that run around $10pp. I'm not sure if that was what you were talking about. But I have done the Tequila Lunch (I know that is no big surprise to you!) and the French Regional Lunch. I thought both were quite a great deal and very well done. Here are some links to those tastings in my Trip Reports from almost three years ago. Oh yeah, and the Grand Marnier Tasting too!

One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila, Floor

Grand Marnier, Part 1
Grand Marnier, Part 2

Pink Champagne

I'm not sure how many of the events described here are still offered. I haven't paid attention to the events for the past two years since I wasn't going, but I know they have a few new ones. I think the French Regional lunch is now a Parisian Breakfast with Champagne. I'll have to catch up on things since we're going again this year!

Alison~

Lots to ponder and read. But I committed to spending the day with my disillusioned family who thinks I've been abducted by aliens and left to die on Mars.

Making smoked salmon dip to nosh over wine and games for the day. Will read more in depth in the morning and enjoy the link reading! :) Thank you so much!!!!!

No worries! I just had a few spare moments this morning and noticed that someone had bumped up that particular trip report on the DVC forum. Then I remembered about sending you those links. I was surprised that my chapter links at the beginning still worked!

This is a very busy PTR! Don't know if I'll remember what to comment on
7-Up, Amaretto and Coconut Rum
First of all, this sounds good. Haven't had anything Amaretto in years. Can always find rum tasty.
Don't really keep much of anything around the house to make drinks. Might have to find a way to get some small bottles : )

38 WEEK MARKparty:
WOW! That makes it sound so close. Better get my act together!
I passed out once in public too and came to with a bunch of hottie paramedics standing over me. That was in college. But it was super embarrassing!
Done that! After work, stop by "our bar" (met hubby there, lots of friends, like our Cheers, sadly closed now) and end up passing out there! Next door was a fire station and the EMTs came to check on me and took me to ER. I had come to, but being wheeled out on a gurney from a BAR was quite embarrassing! Figured out that not eating much that day and taking a "diet" pill (bad idea/never again) made me light headed.
Happy news! I was in pre-surg today and got an IV on my first try!! I almost did a little happy dance right there in the room. (Actually, I did. Just a little. They found it amusing.)
:woohoo::banana:First try deserves a few moves
So, yeah, I'm in a good mood and feeling on top of my game! HAHAHA!
Your hard work is so going to be worth it. :goodvibes Hope the good vibes last the rest of the year with a little pixiedust: added in!
Taking a day off for family tomorrow.
Enjoy your day!!

LOL! That's hilarious about the bison. It is standard fare here in the PNW, and is often on sale on Fridays at our local Safeway. But I do understand the novelty too.

Getting plans more nailed down is thrilling! And fun to see your itinerary gel too! I think nailing flights down is a GIGANTIC leap forward, and makes a lot feel so much more "for sure" when you plunk down the money.

I will try my best to get there as soon as possible. There is a TON of memorizing on this next test, so I need to really focus there, but promise, will get there soon.

Yeah. Here you find things like venison.. and alligator.. and squirrel!

Yes she found some prices she's happy with. I think she wants to wair till jet blue and Southwest release their schedules to see if they might work better time wise. Right now she's looking at either leaving like stupid latr on a Monday to be there early Tuesday morning or early Tuesday to be there midday Tuesday.

And it'll keep. We have plenty of time for PTRs haha. 277 on my timer today!
