I personally am happy to be staying at one of the Epcot resorts for this trip. Hint: You have to go with a positive outlook that things will be GREAT! It is WDW, afterall!
Hi,
Is there a concierge level at the Villas or just at the resort itself?
Jill
Ok scottmel. Repeat after me.
I am going to like my resort. I am happy with the YC. I am at Disney World and I will like my room/view/balcony/location.
You will enjoy!

That's a good mantra for all of us![]()
My DH and I just got back from a long weekend at the Yacht Club. This was our first time staying there....we are partial for the Contemporary with the kids. We've been to GF and Villas at WL too.
We were extremely happy there. The Epcot Resort area is so nice. Very convenient for alot of options. SB was amazing.
If anyone has any questions about it I'd be more than happy to answer if I can![]()
I promise to repeat it nightly!!I always always end up loving my resort! Last summer I had my heart set on BC CL but had to settle for BWI CL instead. MARVELous does not begin to describe BWI CL! I had a hardtime parting from there for this trip but SAB came calling DD....I will love it at YC CL for sure!

How was the water temp at SAB? Warm? Comfortable? We'll be there in less than two weeks and we have two little boys who are DYING to get into that pool!![]()
Is the walking time to epcot much different between bc & yc? bc is a little closer to epcot, right?
also, is stormalong bay located closer to one resort versus the other? is there a lot of noise coming from the pool area?
my husband & i were thinking of visiting in october. we are both 26, no children. last time we stayed at a disney property, we stayed at riverside...but we'd really like to stay in the boardwalk area this time around. it just sounds like a lot of fun. we typically spend the mornings & early afternoons at the park, then enjoy some pool time in the afternoon, then head back to the parks for a few more rides & dinner. it'd be nice to have a place to grab a drink at the end of the day, or relax. we'd rather go to bed a little earlier & get to the parks when they open in the morning. Epcot is our favorite park, but we also like the rides at hollywood. anyway, if anyone has any opinions as to which boardwalk area resort (bwi/bc/yc) would be best for us, i'd love to hear from you.
thanks!![]()
I would vote for the Yacht Club. We just got back yesterday after flights from ?&***ell. lol
Yes, BC is a little closer to Epcot in the sense you walk by BC to get to Epcot from YC; however, it's not a bad walk at all! Our room was 4097 and it was a King Bed room. The rooms have been redone and we loved it. Room 4097 . . . had a partial view of the Boardwark area... think of a U and we were the sides and the premium view room was the bottom of the U if that makes sense. It looked over a gazebo...it was very nice and peaceful. Not a far walk from the lobby at all.
The boat to take you to Epcot or HS was right outside of Yacht Club lobby, so convenient. Very nice walk to the Boardwalk area & Swan/Dolphin area. We had dinner one night at the Italian restaurant in the Swan for a birthday party for a relative who was staying there. So much in the vicinity that if someone didn't even go in the parks there was so much to do there.
Any other ques. I'd be happy to try and answerOh and it was just me and my DH for a nice long weekend
