I'm checking in at BC on Monday and I called them today to find out the answer to this but I'm not quite sure if the woman on the phone understood what I meant.

I surprised my parents with an upgrade to waterview and I wanted to make sure they don't find out about it until we get into the room. I asked the woman if it was possible that they could make a note not to mention it and she said they already don't because the guest knows what they booked already. I just figured it was common practice to confirm with the guest what kind of room they booked .

Does anyone know if they actually don't mention anything at check in?

When I checked in 8/16 at the Beach Club, they didn't mention the room category - just gave me the envelope with the KTTW.

I can't remember them ever mentioning our room category either, at any WDW resort. I probably won't happen, but I don't know if you can guarantee it...

They have always told us what room category we are in, but by letting us know that we've been upgraded.

did we ever get pictures of "finished-finished" rooms at the YC? I know that there were some early pics w/o the bed runners.....

We were just at YC last week in the refurbed room. (DD was not able to load our pictures on here.) The room looked just like the first pictures, no bed runner. We loved the upgrades, new capeting, linens and daybed cover.

In all of the deluxes we have stayed in I have never seen a decorated door, anywhere.

Same here. And we've been to YC, BC, GF, AKL, and Poly... I've never seen anything on a door at any of these resorts...

I've been trying so hard to concentrate on other stuff (like working my way thru my very own kitchen remodel 1 nail at a time!)
.....but 2 weeks! 2 weeks! 10 working days is all that's left! finally!!

Has the movie sched for YC/BC for Sep come out yet?

Well I made all of our ADRs this morning. We ended up getting all of what we wanted.

12/3 Tuto Italia 5:30pm (8:15pm viewing of Candlelight Dinner Package)

12/5 Le Cellier 7:35pm

We also got 4 tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party on Tuesday 12/1 and my dad and I are doing the new Segway tour at 8:15am on the same day Tuesday 12/1

Thinking of boking at stay at the YC or BC CL...what is the difference? There is a cat. of a Deluxe Cl room at the BC..what is that?

Hi everyone! I'm planning to stay at BC next month and wanted to have a package shipped to the resort. I understand that BC charges a fee for receiving the package and was wondering if anyone knew what the charges were. Can they be charged to the room? Are the packages held at the front desk for pick up or at the business center?

It is a lagoon view room. The lounge is fantastic as always. Tonight they have chicken skewers, crab rangoon, cheese and crackers, vegtables and dip and peanut butter and jelly shots!
