Hell all. i dd it search with no luck. Does anyone know if there is a room map for the BC like the one posted for WL. I am trying to remember the room number we had last time.

If there is not a map, does anyone know the numbers of the rooms that look out over the BC quiet pool, straight ahead towards BW.
Thanks

And just to remind anyone using the link, ignore the room descriptions, just use it as a map :)

tekmom - thanks for your great review, glad to hear your trip was a success & congrats on the upgrade!!

Hi. I'm bringing my family in September, staying in a 2 bedroom Villa. Kids are all excited about the pool. How many entrances are there to Stormalong Bay? Does everyone enter the complex in one area? I'm just trying to visualize how it all works. Thanks in advance!

There are several different entrances into SAB. How many exactly I am not sure of. The last time we were there was in June 2007. We were asked every time for our room keys and they required everyone's room key not just mine or my husband's. The first time we tried to enter, we only had one room key and the CM made us go back up and get the other room keys. At first I was a bit peeved but then realized, it's a good security for the resort guests. Have a wonderful trip.:flower3:

Hey HockeyMomR. Just wanted to say hello. Hope you are having a great week.:flower3:

Thanks! We really did enjoy it. We didn't want to leave.

tekmom, glad you had a wonderful trip at the BC. We first visited the YC in June 2007 and I was so apprehensive as we have always stayed at the GF. My DH finally talked me into trying the YC and I said Ok. Just like you it has far surpassed our expectations and can't wait to return next year. I hope you are able to return soon.:flower:

Natebenma, thanks for the photo of the breakfast setup at B&C and more details.:surfweb:

tekmom, glad you had such a great trip.:cool1:

Does anyone know approximate hours for SAB in mid-December? It's my understanding that this is not like the other resort pools where you can swim without a lifeguard. They close the complex completely right?

Can someone help me out with a BC Deluxe room question???

Does anyone have a layout of the deluxe room that can show me how much space is between the living area and the bedroom area? I haven't been able to find any pictures that show how far apart they are. Are they pretty much divided into two rooms with no door, or is it just one LARGE room?

Thanks!

Do you think that my BIL and SIL, who are staying at another resort, could hang by the SAB pool with us? We are doing a mini family reunion and it would stink not to be able to be together during the pool days.

Trust me, it's no bother. I love discussing BCV.:cloud9:

I'm sorry I missed this.:flower3: Yes, all villas have at least one balcony or patio. Some of the balconies are a tad less than the full width of the villa but all are big enough for a table and two chairs. Some balconies are huge.

thanks for the info!

JMPO I truly don't think that they will be allowed inside SAB. When we stayed there in 2007 we had friends visit us for dinner and then we took an illuminations cruise. I asked the CM if we could just show them around SAB and he said no. Only resort guests were allowed. Now mind you we were all dressed up for dinner and we had about 30 minutes to kill. Explained this to him and he still said no. That was okay though. Sorry.:flower3:

It's one large room - there's not really a living room, but there is an alcove where the daybed is set into. It's really just a very spacious version of a regular room.

Glad to see pictures of the new quick service breakfast. I recieved a phone call from WDW reguarding my letter I sent. They thanked me for the letter about the breakfast quick service and assured me that it was forwarded to the correct party and that if I needed anything else to call her back, she left her cell phone number. :) Neat.

Hi everyone,

My family and I returned from a quick weekend getaway at the Beach Club. We were booked in a standard view room on the Club Level, staying Thursday 7/23-Sunday 7/26. We arrived at the resort around 12:30, self parked, and walked to the outside check in area for club level. The CM whisked us upstairs, very friendly, and checked us in. It was my mom, adult cousin and I and we really wanted a daybed, but unfortunately none were available so they offered to give us a rollaway free of charge. I didn't realize they did charge for them, but it ended up working out fine for our stay. The only minor annoyance (which didn't bother us but I could see bothering others) is that you couldn't keep it down during the day because it blocked the door to the balcony. He gave us a quick tour of the lounge itself and then told that we would get a text when our room was ready.

While eating a quick lunch at Hurricane Hanna's, we decided we wanted to try the Cape May for Dinner so we hopped upstairs and she was able to get us 8:10 reservations for dinner and told us I should be receiving a text any second that my room is ready - she was right! We were in 5704. LOVE the new refurbished rooms! I've never stayed in the old ones but I've seen pictures and these are much more my style. We had the lovely view of the roof top and part of the resorts valet area. But I could see Spaceship Earth and the Land very clearly which was neat. Oh and we had a full balcony.

Stormalong Bay - used the pool all 3 days we were there. It is officially my favorite pool. We bought noodles to use on the lazy river and we literally spent hours just floating around in it. I do think the tubes seem bulky and too big for the amount of people there and the size of the tubes, especially the double tubes. What also surprised me was how uncrowded the pool felt despite how crazy crowded it was outside the pool. We did have difficulty getting chairs, even just one to put our stuff on, in the afternoons which I think is to be expected at that time of the day. Thursday and Friday they were very strict about giving out wristbands, but on Saturday I saw tons of people without them. I also saw the "towel police" who would walk around and remove towels off chairs that looked like no one was there, i.e. no shoes, not bags, no other personal belongings besides towels.

Clambake - I was very pleasantly surprised with this meal. I'm not a big clams and oyster girl but I left stuffed and I think I would actually eat here again. My fave though? The brocolli slaw. Must find that recipe. I was craving it for the rest of the trip.

No thoughts on the busses since we didn't use any...and the walk to Epcot was super quick (we left through the BC main entrance).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

I'm going to post the club level offerings during my stay in my next post, too.

For anyone out there who has stayed YC CL...is there just the one centrally located bank of elevators, the one near the lounge? Or are there more at the ends of the hallways? Also, how do you get to SAB? Do you have to exit out the main entrance off the lobby and walk along the Boardwalk?

Sorry if these questions sound strange, but I've never been and I can't get a feel for these things from the maps. We are trying to make a room request and this info would help tremendously!

Thanks!

 Hope you are having a great week as well!!

Looks like you are busy planning for your trip next year. Did you decide on the 2 bdrm at BCV? I think that would be a great choice with your DS and his friend. Will give them plenty space of their own and you will also have the kithchen and common liiving area to gather.

Elevator access to 5th floor is only through main bank of elevators, the other elevator in far end of resort only goes to 4th floor as that part of the building does not have a 5th floor.

So, yes, to get to SAB take elevator to 1st floor. You will not need to walk directly through lobby as there a "side door" you can exit the building right by the elevators.
