Thanks Teena-you really are the fountain of all knowledge. I think I'm going to have to confess plans to my other half and try to work it out together. Can I just check I've got this straight - I should book a deluxe club level room ? Can you give me an idea what the views are like from the deluxe rooms? I cant make the trip shorter as I've already booked flights (we fly from here to london and then connect to MCO) and the cost of changing would cancel out any savings. Think I did this a bit back to front but you live and learn as they say!!

Honestly, I think you'll be super happy in a BC deluxe room. Go back about two pages and you'll see alot of discussion about these rooms. There are only six of them. It gives you lots of information about each room. We just got done talking about the six rooms.

We stay for two weeks in the summer and the deluxe club rooms really make things a lot easier. When we're there for just 5, 6 or 7 days the regular rooms are fine. When you're there for a long trip it just makes it easier to spready out. The CL lounge really comes in handy especially for breakfast, drinks and great appetizers!

This is my first time posting, so bear with me here.

We are booked at BC CL in May. I rec'd an email from IPO
that said they could help me with ADR'S etc. I sent an email and asked if we could have a first floor room (because I thought a patio would be nice to sort of "extend the room" for the kids) and still be on GV CL. I never recd a response. Does anyone know rthe answer to my question? Is there any reaason the IPOwould not have responded back. I got the auto email response that said I would har back in 24 hours.
Thanks!

Teena, is it possible to have room service/houskeeping bring Disposable cups and lids to our BC room when we stay there? I have heard that there are only glass cups in the rooms. PLEASE let me know!!

If you booked a standard (or garden) or water view club level room, they are all on the fifth floor. The deluxe rooms (there are six of them) are on floors one, two, three and four.

Thanks Teena!
I have read many postings about BC CL. We have a party of 5. Will they automatically give us a room with a daybed? If I want to be close to the lounge and have a full balcony, do I ask this of the IPO or how do I go about requersting this info??

Thanks!

Just call Disney Reservations and have them add that request to your reservation. Ask them to add "Full balcony near lounge please."

I honestly don't know if they will do that or not. You certainly can ask. I think you might get a better response if you call housekeeping on the phone from your room and ask the person who answers to send them up to your room rather than ask your housekeeper personally.

Thanks! Not only is it a matter of cleanli-ness but they are super-cute too! Also, I don't want to make a cup of coffee in our room and carry it outside in a glass mug. :) Thanks for the tip, I know we have called in the past for everything from extra washcloths for our baths to soap and toothbrushes that the little one forgot to bring. I forgot how accomodating they really can be :)

If it's for coffee, I do believe there is disposable cups and lids on the tray with the coffee maker.

If you stay in one of the Deluxe CL rooms at Beach Club is it ok to bring food back down to your room and do they have plates you can take from the Lounge?

I inquired about this and Disneymomx7 told me that there are trays (and, I assume that means, plates, LOL) to take back to the room. I am glad too because we'll definitely be taking advantage of it!

We have a 2-bedroom BCV with check in on October 16th and a 2-bedroom BCV with check-in on October 17th. These were both RCI trades, and we're hoping to get hold of the RCI desk at Member Servies to get our DVC reservation numbers. We'd like to be near each other. What's the best way to accomplish this? Do we need to form a Grand Gathering (we have enough people) and let them work their group magic, or can we get this done some other way? It seems like it would be risky to wait until check-in to make this request.

Are there any room blocks of 2-bedrooms that we would want to avoid? We're not that picky - we generally like higher floors, and not right next to an elevator, but being near each other is really the most critical thing.

Yes there are trays and plates etc. to bring back to you room.

Lots of times DH would go get a tray while I helped the kids get ready.

Now that I'm thinking about it I think there are the paper/foam disposable cups with the lids on them up there too that someone was asking about. I think I remember the kids getting orange juice in them in the morning if we were trying to hurry them up to get out to the boat or bus.

Originally I was going to bring our own large plastic tray but DH told me we would look like the Beverly Hillbillies!

:thumbsup2Thanks to everyone who helped me with all the information I needed. Think I'm going to go for the deluxe room:woohoo:Now I just need to wait for a couple of hour until the reservations desk opens for the day (and hope they dont run out of rooms-eek).
Thanks again everyone:)

Good luck and let us know how it works out for you. I'm always envious of those that get to stay for as long as you are. Makes my trips of four days seem so short. But that's all the vacation time I can afford to use there at the MOST WONDERFUL PLACE IN THE WORLD for a year.

Looking forward to meeting you and the family. Let us know once you get it all booked.
