Thank you so much that helps alot, I know you said that 1557 was your room and you really liked it, but if you could request one of these rooms which would you choose? I am torn between 2nd, 3rd, & 4th floors, I was going to make a request for a room on one of these floors but not sure which one. And can I ask a dumb question? What does HTH mean?

Personally, I believe, with only 6 rooms, the less specific you are with requests the better. I requested "full balcony" because I figure that gives me a 50% chance of getting that request, but if I requested the 3rd floor that would give me only a 1/3 chance of getting the request. With so few rooms, there likely will be NO chance of moving if you don't get what you hope for.

I hope disneymomx7 doesn't mind me answering but "HTH" = Hope that helps.

Thank you for the pics, natebenma.

Were there really only two types of snacks in the afternoon? Your pic has chips/dip and yogurt covered pretzels and that is all that is listed on the sign too ...

Thank you so much, and you are right I just need to request full balcony and leave it at that.

There are definitely other snacks, such as cookies (chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, sugar) and gummies (like Swedish fish).

Yes, as posted above, there were definitely cookies!!! and Swedish Fish and Salt Water Taffy- outside the lounge on a desk, I believe.

Am I correct that the BC CL Lounge has recently been renovated. If so, what changes were made? Anyone have any pictures or a link where pictures might be posted. TIA.

The lounge was slightly expanded. They also added a bathroom to the lounge. Also, the color scheme is different - there's more yellow in the lounge than before (I like the new color scheme - it feels warmer), and the food area is in a different location.

I can try to post some pics.

Hopefully, we'll both get awesome rooms - maybe the same one since it looks like we're arriving 11 days after you. :-)

You never know, here's hoping, and I will have to let you know about the room when we get back. This is going to be an adventure for us, being our first time at BC. I have always loved the AKL, we tried Poly CL last year as a split stay between Poly and AKL and I have to say I loved the Poly so I am hoping for the samething from BC I hope I will fall in Love with it to.

This is the expansion, located where the food area used to be. There's a bathroom to the right:

Fortunately, the lovely view from the lounge hasn't changed:

Thanks DonaldDoleWhip! The lounge was looking rough. I like the renovations. And I'm picking up on the sarcasm re: the view. Looking forward to our trip in May.

The view isn't really that big of a deal, because the other perks are typically why people choose to stay club level.

But in comparison to the amazing views from Poly, Contemporary, and GF Royal Palm Club's lounges (or the decent pool view from BWI's lounge, or the view of the gorgeous lobby from the AKL lounge), I never stop wondering why the lounges at YC and BC weren't put in locations with a pool/lake view.

Agree completely. It's as if the lounges were an afterthought.

Teena S. my sister and I will be staying in a Deluxe CL room at BC for the first time the first of Dec, we are really excited, my question is I have been reading where there are only six Deluxe CL rooms at BC is this correct? If so what floors and views do they have and do they have full balcony's? I am sorry if this has been asked before, I just like to have all my ducks in a row for my request for a room, and with this being a new resort I have no idea what to expect. Thank you so much for the help.

Four have views of the quiet pool from the side and out the front you can see the lake and Boardwalk.

Two have views of the courtyard and out the front the view if SAB and the Boardwalk and lake.

One has a patio. The rest either have full or standing balconies. I know for sure that three have full balconies. Not sure of the other two as far as full or standing.

I'm not Teena, but I think I can help you. When you check in they should give you your KTTW card (room keys). They will not be active to get into your room if your room is not ready, but you will be able to use them to enter SAB. Just bring a change of clothes in a smaller bag to make things easier. HTH. Have a great trip.

That's the absolute correct answer. As soon as you check in, whether the room is ready or not, you will get your KTTW card. If you purchased a dining plan and park tickets as a package, everything will be on the card. If you gave a credit card at check-in, that will also be attached to the card. Once you have your card, you use it to get into the parks, use your dining plan, get access to SAB, and you can charge on it. The only thing you can't do is use it to get into your room (if the room isn't ready yet).

Jenjersnap ... I absolutely 100% agree with everything you said.

I am sooo missing the BC right now - 14-20 more inches of snow predicted to fall by Wednesday, plus blizzared condition winds. This on top of the 18 inches we got on Saturday. Come on July!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me about the room service at Beach Club? I looked at the menu on allears, but I have heard that WL lets you order off Artist Point Menu and GF lets you order from Narcoossee(sp?) So are there any other options for room service besides what is on the menu online?

We missed the weekend snow (barely) but we're supposed to be buried this week, too. I could totally use a trip to the warm weather right now!!!

DH and I were just talking about this same thing this morning. Come on July.:hyper: Most likely the kids will be off tomorrow. In our area anyway. We always seem to get hit hard. Boy I can't wait for the summer time to get here. I don't like the snow.
