I'm really shocked that Alaina was voted off. I really thought it would be Kady.

I was hoping Danny N. would have been voted off, but I guess we're stuck with his bobble head for at least another week

I was surprised at Alaina, but not at the others. I was more surprised at the fact that Kady, Amanda, and Luke stayed in. I liked Robbie and Alaina. Alexandrea I wasn't either way on, but Jason Y. I didn't like. His voice was not my favorite and I'm glad he's gone.

In mourning...at least we get Kady for another week

Yeah...DolphinDan's right...totally dressed in black here...Unfortunately, I miss all the action here on Thursday nights because of work. I was actually really surprised that Kady didn't get the boot and Kady was really surprised, too. It looked like she knew what was coming...and then it didn't happen.

And man is it good.....WOW WOW WOW....but I am totally LOST watching it but it has me hooked

Totally OT: The other problem with working Thursday nights is that I miss the best show on tv in Lost. Gotta catch up with it online on Fridays. This season has been great so far...the best yet, I think.

Poor Alaina- she was like, "I can't sing!" ....and you could tell Ryan was vamping to fill in space.
I like Luke- I'm glad he is getting another chance. I'm glad wig-boy wanna-be is gone.

I was pretty happy with last night's results. There's a bunch of people who won't win this no matter what they do. The ones that got the boot this week are four of them.

I have to admit I felt sorry for Alaina. She's just a kid and seems to be a sweetie. I was impressed with the other girls' reaction and the fact that she was able to pull it together and sing.

We lost a phony gangsta chic and a phony rocker, both more than OK in my book. Jason Yeager's dismissal was a who cares as well. I was glad that Luke didn't get voted off. He's easy on the eyes and I thought he really did quite well this week with Killer Queen. Same for Chikesie. I loved his soulful rendition of I Believe to My Soul.

I really enjoyed the group sing. After last week's disaster, this was 100% better. Holy cow, David Hernandez has the best moves. He ought to try out for SYTYCD! Where's the panting smilie when you need it?

And American Idol voters vote with their heart and their eyes, NOT their ears. It's a shame but that's been proven over and over. Unless DC makes himself over to turn on the tweens or teens and the real voting types he doesn't have a chance.

Right now on the AI forums David A, Mike Johns and Jason Castro have the biggest followings. As we all know things can change quickly. If he makes it through, I think he'll be like Chris Sligh, a talented person who never was able to get a huge enough fan following.

We'll see.

I like David Cooke a lot. I think he's got plenty of charisma....different strokes I guess. NO issues for me with last night's results, but byo did I feel bad for Alaina. Good on her for pulling off the song!
