The 20 Guest Limit, Intimate Weddings

How rigid is the limit? My fiancee and I would like to bring about 28 people total and still keep it as an intimate wedding; does anyone know if you can pay per-person for the extra 8? (We are still waiting for the Disney Wedding advisor to call us back)

I believe it's fixed at 20 max (less in some locations), and custom's start at 10+ guests

from what ive heard from other brides, they are very strict on the guest numbers. chances are you WILL need to have a custom

They will not go over the 20 people (which includes the bride & groom, so it's really 18 guests) with any exceptions. Your best bet is to do a custom on Monday-Thursday, when the minimum is $10K, or to have only 18 guests at your ceremony and you can invite any number to your dinner or reception. Good luck!

Disney is very strict on the numbers. It is 18 max guests for the Intimate. We had the same problem but had to change to a custom. All guests count, even babies towards you guest list on an intimate. Sorry.

Disney only allows 18 guests and the bride and grooms makes 20. It is set in place because you pay less for an Intimate wedding, of course. You have to have a Custom wedding if you'd like more than 18 guests. Plus, also of the Intimate wedding locations will only hold 18 guests. We had 16 guests at our Intimate.

The 20 person limit does not include the bride and groom for the wedding pavillion. I don't know about the other venues but 3 different people from DFTW have assured me it it 20 guests plus us.

The maximum number of guests is 18 for an intimate wedding. 18 guests plus bride and groom and they are not flexible on that at all. Even babies are included in that maximum so im pretty sure you will have to go for a custom or reduce the number of people at your ceremony.

If you look on the disney weddings website it says all intimate weddings are 18 guests or fewer! thats all locations.
