We are there March 10-16, figures we just miss the reopening of the pool. Oh well, nothing I can do about it. We'll just go over to POR if we want to swim.

Yay! We booked POFQ today! It wasn't our first choice, but when you go for 2 rooms it's certainly the more reasonable one! I'm really soo happy. We'll be there June 7th-14th

I just got back Wednesday from my first stay at POFQ and loved it (have only stayed at WL and with family before). Some photos below:

And (something I couldnt take a picture of): There's jazzy Christmas music playing all the time! It sounds like what you'd expect New Orleans Christmas music to sound like. It really adds to the holiday decor

Who Hoo it's offical, I convinced my DH to let us upgrade from POP to FQ on our trip Sept 13 - 19 I've wanted to stay here for years, and now I feel like this Sept can NOT come soon enough for me now

Thanks for the link -- the resort looks beautiful.

Were you who stayed at Christmastime wowed by the resort. We felt that CSR had the WOW factor but that CBR did not.

Some of the decorations at POFQ remind me of the river area at the Opryland Hotel - which is gorgeous.

I wanted to subscribe since I am rarely able to find this thread. Also, I am incredibly excited to say that I just booked our second trip for 8/23-8/31!!!!

Just listening to the Disney hold music made me all happy.

I am looking forward to this resort too, and am eager to here and see pics all about it.

Hi there! Glad I found this thread, and subscribing! I have just cancelled our rezzies at POP and booked POFQ for April 25th through May 2nd, dining plan etc. etc. We were going to go with POP as it was a bit cheaper, but just learned we won't be making a 2nd trip this year due to, well, the fact that we just found out a new baby is on the way.

Figured we would splurge a little and spend the extra for POFQ. We stayed at Movies and CBR last year, and were planning on doing POP and maybe a mod later this year, but with the news, decided to just do one trip, and go for the Moderate.

We have never stayed at Port Orleans, and are truly hoping it's as nice as everyone tells us. REALLY looking forward to this trip!

Where, which rooms, or what buildings would have the quietest rooms (rooms that would not have a parking lot view)? I am one of those who cannot sleep if there is outside noise occuring and yes, I also carry a "white-noise" machine. Disney or not, I need my sleep or I am very cranky the next day...
