Cheers to John and the gang for their hard work and sacrifice for us. I sincerely wish I had started listening to the DIS before I made my deposit with a competitor. I am not dissing my current agent but they have given me a headache with my reservation and I am getting a bad feeling about what is going to happen or could happen. Anyway cyall in 6 weeks.

I certainly appreciate that some of you are willing to pay to offset the costs of this event. This is something we discussed early on but decided against it. Not only would the cost per person be more than we would be comfortable asking - we truly want to do this as a 'thank you' to our listeners, DIS Boards members and DU clients.

We budgeted the cost based on a certain number of attendees. When we saw that this number was well below those that wanted to attend we put in place a plan to increase that number. The whole reason behing taking a waitlist was to see what the final numbers would look like so we had a goal.

Now that we have that number and see the scope we are moving forward with a plan to include as many of the folks on the waitlist as possible.

As of right now the waitlist is closed.

We want to be able to try to accommodate as many of those of you who signed up for the waitlist as possible so we don't want to take in any more on the waitlist and possibly disappoint people.

As I mentioned - we are working on a way to get as many people from the waitlist into the event as possible.

Have faith.

Once we are able to move as many people from the waitlist to the confirmed list we will send out emails letting everyone know they are signed up.

I also want to again mention that we understand that families would like to attend together and we will work hard to make that happen. It is not our intent or goal to leave anyone out of this event - and especially not 'break-up' a family.

It is going to take some time to work out our plan to get folks off the waitlist and into the event so please be patient - I know it's hard to wait but by giving us the time we need to make this work the more people we will be able to accommodate.
