That Foo's Boo Is Incredible!!! - Jan 14 TR *THE END 7/19 Pg. 51*

What a shame you can't see you and your Mum in the ToT photo especially as it was your Mums only ride. Those people in front must have freakishly big hands :rotfl:

Wow that pork looked enormous, did your Dad get anything else with it?

Oh and the pink hair........ :rotfl2:

I know! Her face can be priceless on that ride, and it was big bummer.

The meals at Min and Bill's all come with a bag of potato chips.

All caught up !!! That Hot Dog in a pretzel roll looks delish, I LOVE DiJon so that wouldn't be a problem. I am hoping for a FP for BOG in May. Have eaten supper there and anxious to try lunch.

It was really good. If you love dijon, you would definitely love it!

Lunch is so good! I actually found it to be superior to dinner. Such high quality food for the price. I really hope you get the FP! I was able to get it about 30 days before our arrival date.

I feel like the Epcot display in one man's dream was changed a bit. Well from the last time I saw it. I also did not see the Donald rocking thingy.

It did change just slightly. They seem to make minor changes along the way.

I had never seen the Donald rocker before. It was completely new to me!

Are we so sure you didn't sabotage your moms chances on TSM? Are you competitive enough to break the salt shaker?? Hahaha
Crazy that you got exactly 100,00 more than your mom!
Return time for Jack Sparrow? That's weird! I've never seen that before.
I absolutely love One Mans Dream. I do it every time.
Your father has such a friendly face, I can see how he would attract chatters. I, on the other hand, have the Resting B*tch Face Syndrome and always look crabby unless I'm ecstatic. No one ever chats to me. :( hahahaha

Aww I can't believe you got blocked in your ToT picture! From what I could see of you, it looks like it would have been awesome! Someday I want to pretend I'm asleep for the picture, but I can't bring myself to have my eyes closed during the ride, I love it so much that I need to see every second of it!

Your lunch looks really good, I don't think I've ever eaten there either! I know that place exists, but it's just somewhere I don't bother with...kind of like the ABC Commissary. :rotfl:

I like that lady's pink hair, but I agree with you, you need a pretty cool haircut to pull that off! :confused3

I just found your trip report and got all caught up. I enjoyed t so much, I went back and read some of your other reports. You all look like you are having an amazing time. Hard not to in such a gear place. I officially want to go on vacation with your family LOL.

I am hoping for a FP for BOG in May. Have eaten supper there and anxious to try lunch.

We had lunch there in January, the food was AWESOME! The roastbeef sandwich with horseradish was so tasty and tender. I can't wait to go back! Sadly though, this was where we found our one grumpy CM...

But...apparently they make you sign up now to return at a later time? We wouldn't have gotten in until close to 2pm and it was only 11:30am at this point. Have they always done this? I was totally confused! Clearly, the Legend of Jack Sparrow is the hottest attraction in town. Who knew?! So we decided, nah, we didn't want to do that.

Our return time was for the last show of the day. When we returned and were waiting in line, a CM came out of the building and said maintenance was shutting down the show for the day...what a disappointment!!:sad2:

Oh, the beauty that is breakfast from Chick-Fil-A.

I see you take off the hard-back book covers as well. Makes it so much easier! Have you finished the book yet? I'd be interested to see what you thought, haha.

YAY FOR ARRIVING. Omg, going into DHS and NOT immediately running for TSM? What... how... I... that would take some getting used to.

Omg, your mom is so cute! She looks so scared for ToT! I just want to hug her.

Hahaha uh, no... signing up for return times for Jack Sparrow has not always been a thing. That's just weird. Apparently it's in very high demand... ?

All caught up again...

Another great TR... You have such a fun family and your writing is so entertaining. It is very fun to read while i'm 5000 miles away in the desert.

Thank you for letting me live vicariously through your Disney vacations until I get to go in September!

Keep Popadon away from the eggs and Mom away from the salt shakers!

Okay, Danielle, you need to know about this:

Someone at work had a Panera-catered breakfast meeting this morning and let us know there were leftovers we could help ourselves to. Second breakfast, yay! :cool1: So, I saw a half a bagel (bottom half) and a tub of blueberry cream cheese. Mmmm, yum - took that and drowned the bagel in cream cheese. Eating along happily and - maybe paranoid from your story - I looked a bit more closely and saw what appeared to be an onion piece or two. Luckily, it was the bottom half and a crazy amount of cream cheese, so the flavor was not too strong, but I was sure laughing! :rotfl:

I can't neither confirm nor deny that I sabotaged my Mom's score. :rolleyes1

I love One Man's Dream too. I make sure I don't miss it when we go.

He does have a friendly face. I tend to suffer from the same face you do, and people don't typically chat me up. :lmao: But I don't see that face from you in your pictures. I would not have thought that.

Man, the picture would have been great! I was sooooo bummed out. I've pretended I was asleep, but I'm pretty good at timing the picture and then I keep my eyes open the rest of the time.

I did like the color of her hair! It was really the cut that threw me off.

:welcome:

Thanks for joining! We are a bit on the crazy side.

It's so good, right?! I'm sorry that's where you found a grumpy cast member. They're the worst, aren't they?

Our return time was for the last show of the day. When we returned and were waiting in line, a CM came out of the building and said maintenance was shutting down the show for the day...what a disappointment!!:sad2:

Well that sucks! That would have totally bummed me out! Showing up to the final day and then turning you away.

Oh, the beauty that is breakfast from Chick-Fil-A.

It's some pretty scrumptious stuff, that's for sure!

I always take the cover off! 1) It's annoying when you leave it on. 2) Then the cover gets all messed up and that's not pretty. LOL. I did finish the book, on the drive back actually. I liked it. I thought that the ending was appropriate, and was actually glad the author was brave enough to take it there.

Thanks! I enjoy writing it all. I love reliving our trips this way. I agree with you, it's fun to be able to live through other people's trips, especially if you have lengthy distances between trips in general.

I will definitely keep them both away from those things! :rotfl2:

Hahahahaha!!!!! I'm making everyone paranoid about their bagels!

I ate the bottom half of my bagel, because it appears that they don't bake onion into the bottom, similar to yours. I was also desperate. :rotfl2:

UGH!!!!!!!!! Everywhere I turn there is a Packer fan. I saw so many Packer clothes people this weekend in Iowa. But I'm used to it since my "dropped on his head at birth" youngest son is a Packer fan. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Love the TOT picture...well, what I can see of your Dad anyway.

And the hat pictures had me :rotfl:

I don't think I've heard much about the diner you tried for lunch. Perhaps we shall give that a try in September.

I cry during One Man's Dream every single time.

I definitely appreciated the extra info you provided in your review of Min & Bill's! I know at the end of the day everyone's tastes are different, but I love reading what DIS friends say about food items because I believe that friends' opinions are more trustworthy than just Googling and finding random ones, haha.

Cuz of the list of Easter eggs on TSMM, Howard and I are DYING to go back even though we just recently returned home!!!

Sometimes I forget that I'm a gamer and use gamer terms and forget my audience. Sorry about that!

An easter egg is video game terms for something that's hidden that you need to unlock. In TSM's case, there are ways to unlock larger value targets by doing certain things. For example:

In the level with the green aliens, if you can clear all of the aliens off of the spaceship "table" without one popping back up, a robot will appear in the background that will give you the ability to shoot rings into his mouth that will get you more points.

There are little "eggs" like this throughout the entire ride.
I had heard the term "Easter egg" used on the "Blink" episode of Doctor Who, but I didn't know that it was used by gamers. Now I'll have to look for the green alien level and see what happens. Thanks. :)

I'm not sure how I missed you starting another trip report but I did. You're only on day 3 so there is still plenty to read I'm sure. Glad I found it!

I miss two weeks and dang Girl!!! You got me all behind again! :lmao:

Your mom is My Mom!!! The food she packed sounded so much like my mom! I tell her we need a b and c and she brings A B AND C PLUS D!!
:lmao: Your dad is MY husband...a laugh a minute! And there are people that don't like new crayons?! As a matter of fact I now feel the need to make a purchase!

Chick-fil-A breakfast, lunch and dinner...my fave!!! And they seriously have some of the best coffee for a fast food place!!! Glad the Magic Bands are working for you...we had a minor glitch too but once cleared up I loved the bands! Your mom's score mimics mine on TSMM...every single time! I can't seem to get higher. Need to remember the "eggs". Oh and One Man's Dream...our must do! When Shirley Temple Black passed away this past week, I had to pull up the Oscar bit with Walt for "Snow White"! Okay...I skipped a lot but this reply is already so long!! :lmao::rotfl2:

Today's makeup look was based on the Tangled floating lanterns. I thought it turned out pretty nicely.

Looks great!!

Now, my experience with parking at Disney is this. We pull in and immediately get sent down a brand spanking new row. Meaning....we are all the way at the end. Today was no different. I was really hoping that we would get closer parking. It wasn't meant to be.

This is our family's experience every time we drive to AK (the only park we drive to)!! Like, every time!

And I have NO IDEA what to do with myself. See, this FP+ business threw me for a loop. All my plans were made. No FP to run for. Everything was done. Normally, I have a mission. Run to TSM, push little kids out of the way, run over the old folks, and obtain a FP. But now.....I had no purpose.

I know what you mean! We were in WDW over NYE and it was definitely different...FP+ allowed us to actually get on rides (like TSM for the First Time Ever since it has opened!) but weird to not have any downtime between rides.

Momma was scared as usual.

DD is not a fan of this or any other ride that involves heights, either!! She just sits them out so kudos to your mom for being brave!

At least her magic band matched her hair......I actually didn't have a problem with her hair color, other than the fact that she was a little old for it (in my opinion), and think if you're going to rock an unusual hair color, your cut should be just as kickin' as the color! Not just "look, I have pink hair", but "look I have pink hair and my cut is totally awesome!" It's a package people!

I totally agree! It actually looks like a wig?

I also had an Orange Blossom Pilsner. It was pretty tasty. Quite hoppy, so if you're not a huge beer fan or drinker, I would not recommend it. However, for experienced beer drinkers like Yeti and myself, it was a-okay!

I keep forgetting that DHS has beer! The Pilsner sounds good!

Clearly, the Legend of Jack Sparrow is the hottest attraction in town. Who knew?! So we decided, nah, we didn't want to do that.

Ok, I don't even know what this is!? Is it a show or a ride?

I totally get nostalgic at this point, because this is the Epcot of my childhood and my memories. Horizons, World of Motion, Communicore, OG Figment. Like, come on! I love thrill rides. But I mourn some of the old rides from Epcot too.
I never went as a child (poor me, I know), but I know what you mean...since my first trip 18 years ago, things have changed!

Oh no, so sad that pretzel dog thingy at Min and Bill's wasn't good. Yours was the second review I read that said ick to the mustard inside the hot dog. At least the Yeti looks like he is enjoying the brew.

Your mom and dad modeling those hats are classic. They are so them. :thumbsup2

Your TSMM skills truly amaze. I would look up those Easter egg hints but I know I will forgot them 5 minutes later. It is good to see you as a TSMM superstar.

Note to Camille: I may be anal in organization but I try to not let it interfere with friendships! I'm not scared of being room mates. :rotfl2:
