That Fantasy can't steal our Magic! March 30, 2012

we have first seating. It is earlier than we eat at home but I figured eating later at night would wreak havoc with the waistline :lmao:

I did not know you could request where your rotation starts. hmmm. that would be neat. I am guessing it is too late now.

With all the rain here today it is dark and dreary but the cruise CD does help. That was one of the best FE gifts we ever got. :)

Happy Leap day!!!

Kate

The cruise CDs are the best!!!!
I'm going to go find one & put it in!
Listening to Radio Margaritaville and No Shoes Radio helps too! :music:
Some of the best ones we got were on the EB 2008 Panama Canal Crossing.
I need to make and give those out one year as an FE gift :goodvibes

How many Birthdays are there (from the group) while we are on our cruise? And who?
I need to know :rolleyes1

Hooray for cruise month!!!!

I've never gotten a cruise CD. Where did you get yours?

Has anyone stayed at the Country Inn & Suites? How far a walk is it to the ocean? Do they have towels you can use?

That's funny, I was thinking about cruise CD's yesterday. (We got a really nice one in our FE last year.) Yesterday someone told me that while at Grand Cayman I have to find out where 'Barefoot Man' is playing. I guess he's a local Jimmy Buffet type who does a mix of reggae, country, pop and humor and performs around town. Hmmmm, maybe a new FE idea is coming my way!

For the Fish Extender exchange some people make a homemade cd of their favorite "cruise" type music to give to everyone as their FE gift.
For the Panama Canal crossing cds I got it usually had music from the different ports/countries we stopped at. Someone even put "Panama" by Van Halen on one.
It's a great FE gift idea!

I have toyed with the idea of making a FE cd but I am computer challenged for one and it seems like it would weigh a lot to put them in cases and bring.

Oh, OK Thanks for the info.

Well we are on this cruise!!

We needed a tropical getaway!

It's me-stephanie, DH-alex, and DD-Sidney (9).

We have late seating of course due to the late nature of booking. LOL

There's no Palo brunch or tea left of course but I'm ok with that. We got Palo for the first night and will book a spa service and then I'm just going to enjoy the sunshine and a lunge chair or the verandah!

We are in room 6136 and paid a FORTUNE for it almost triple what we paid for the dream in August but then again it's spring break and it's last minute booking. Oh well!

This is our 4th Disney Cruise! I LOVE THEM!We are going to Alaska with Disney in August which has been in the works for many months.

This cruise is a sanity keeper! LOL

Stephanie

Welcome!!! Don't forget our DISmeet is at 3pm in the Promenade lounge, and you are in the same area as a LOT of us..... We're all in that same aft corridor on Deck 6 - well, not ALL of us, but a lot! Last cruise we were in 6148 and I LOVED it!

FE gifts are done! All I have to do now is package them and put names/cabin#s on them so Ally can deliver for me!!!! What a HUGE relief to have them all done!

Ally turns 11 on March 31 (Key West)...... And Jeff turns, well, let's just say he's having a birthday on April 2 (Grand Cayman). :rotfl2: He said it sure beats his bday last year - the day we got OFF the cruise and drove home! Not a good birthday at all!

26 days! I'm not ready but so ready at the same time, how can this be?:cool2: What will I do with myself after this trip, I've been planning for a year. :confused3 Also it's a week with my MIL, the most time we have spent together since my wedding. If anyone sees me going for the rail, to jump or push, please stop me!:rolleyes1 Hubby and I were going to celebrate 20 years and only 5 anniversaries (Leap day Wedding) and she decided to come along. Maybe she will help with the dd, than again probably not!

OMG! Not the MIL!!!! :scared1:

We actually invited my inlaws on this cruise and thank goodness they declined because SIL is preggers and due right around the time we leave. It's her third child, so not the excitement that the first child generates.... but still. If they had booked I know SIL would have guilted them into cancelling anyway.

But we have already booked RCI Freedom of the Seas for NEXT spring break, and they are coming with us. Luckily SIL and her brood are NOT coming, or THAT would send me over the rail.....

If you ever need to escape, you have all our cabin numbers, we'll have a girls night out to help you escape! :thumbsup2

Can't wait to be on the cruise!!!
Our flurries that were predicted today have turned into a full blown snow- we probably have about 3 inches on the ground.
Did not make for a nice commute this morning as everyone was not prepared for it to be this much:scared1:

At least I have tropical breezes to look forward to in just a few weeks.

And we still have nothing! Of course we don't expect much snow.

But I still can't wait for the cruise-- it wll be here before we know it!
