Thanksgiving week?

Looking to go from Sunday to Saturday over Thanksgiving week. How bad are the parks/resorts? I'm not sure if it's worse to go during free dining, which we tried for but they are pretty much sold out, or during that week! I know anymore there really isn't a good time to go. Some days maybe empty, but it's not like that for an entire week. Grandson would only miss 2.5 days of school which is another pro.
