Thanksgiving vs Christmas crowds this year?

Wondering if anyone has been to the parks both thanksgiving weekend and this week…. I understand both are very busy- especially this week!

We’ve always taken DD out of school to travel other times (last few trips we did early Nov around Veterans Day), but now that she’s getting older it’s getting harder and we can’t do the summer heat. We are considering Thanksgiving week for next trip.

We are savvy wdw travelers but would love any insight or personal experience!

My family has done both for the past 5 years, and they both are crowded, as you mentioned. I think I personally like the week before Christmas a little better, because school is out and we don’t have to rush back to anything. I always feel like we need a little more time over thanksgiving break.
