What, I'm not too late to book Thanksgiving Dinner Reservations?
What, I can't book them yet?

Are the above 2 statements correct? We planned a last minute trip for Thanksgiving and trying to get Thanksgiving Dinner Reservations. But what I am getting on research is that I can't book yet. When I called about Mythos, I can't book until a month out? Am I understanding correctly or did I miss something?

I think Universal is quite different when it comes to reservations. I'm so used to Disney where we made our reservations 6 months in advance. It's weird for me to have to wait for the Universal restaurants. I've put a reminder in my phone calendar so I will know when it is time to make reservations. (I'm going in December.)

You can make reservations a few days before, even same day. No need for reservations so far ahead of time at Universal.

It's not Disney.
You can make reservations for some of the Universal restaurants (CityWalk and resorts ones) on Open Table for Thanksgiving. Mythos wouldn't be open for dinner anyway. Your best bet is somewhere in one of the great resorts; check the menus.
