I have been looking at http://www.accuweather.com It gives a 15-day forecast.

I've been watching it all week and it changes quite a bit each day from rainy - sunny and even 10 degrees in temp.

The forecast posted has been the best its looked thus far.

I was actually hoping it wouldn't be THAT warm the first week of Dec. I was hoping to wear jeans all week, and light jackets at night. Now we will have to wear shorts, and go back to the hotel and change into jeans for evening. I hadn't planned on going back to the resort during the day. Call me crazy, I know! But I just don't like it that warm. 65-70 would be the perfect temp for me. Plus a "little chill" would pur me in the Christmas spirit more. Anyone agree with me or alm I alone on this one!. haha

By the way, we are not into the swimming and probably won't even hit the pools.princess:

Me too hezreck....I was really hoping to wear pants or even capri's. Maybe I can still get away with those, but shorts??? I guess the kiddos will be happy that we can go to TL!

yep. I got the weather off of accu weather this morning!! I always start watching the weather 15 days out!! I jot it down every morning, and they watch it change the closer we get! Im hoping it stays as warm as they are predicting now! 2 years ago it was chilly over thanksgiving in the mornings and evenings!!This is looking really great right now!

Good news indeed. I've been watching it daily. Central Florida weather at that time of the year runs the gamut. One of the oddest was last year. On Friday afternoon, the day after T-giving, we were having a blast in the pool. The next night, we were freezing to death watching Wishes from the Poly Beach. My guestimate is that it was around 75 on Friday afternoon and around 40 something the next evening.

hezreck & skatermom-
Im hoping it doest get "TOO" warm too. Even though I am excited that the weather is looking good. I was hoping to wear capris as well! One year we went, it was so nice during the day, but then as soon as the sun went down, it was cold. Instead of wasting time going back and forth to the room, do what I did that year ( and what I always do when there is a big temp difference from day to night) Pack up a bag of jeans and sweatshirts and put it in a locker. Its there if you need it, and you just need to go the bathrooms ( usually right next to the lockers) and change. It never bothered me to bring the extra bag. I would sure hate to have to leave and then come back. I always bring extra clothes, warmer clothes, rain ponchos and get a locker. If you switch parks, you get a ticket and your key refund, and when you get to the new park, pay your key refund and give them the slip and you can get a new one !

I agree w/ all that the weather forecast is a mixed blessing. There are 7 of us so running back to the ASMu to change clothes is no small feat. I was hoping for jeans as well and then light jacket for the evening. I think anything over 75 is a bit warm for jeans but the nights are very chilly.
May have to re-think packing stategy......

Weather update.. All temps have gone up!! I went out and bought all new christmasy or snowy themed long sleeve t-shirts for the week!! Now I will have to find some short sleeved ones!!!! Heres the forcast now..

thanksgiving- 79/60
friday - 79/60
saturday - 79/59
sunday - 77/57
monday- 80/64
tuesday - 79/57
wednesday, dec 1st- 76/56 ( this went down a bit)

Looks like a hot week!

Holy Moly!:earseek:
That is pretty warm. I had not planned on squeezing a pedicure appt in before Thurs as I thought no way we will be swimming. Looks like that is wrong!
I guess my parents were the smart ones. They both went to get pedicures last night. My DB got all of the men in my family addicted to pedicures. Now when they go hunting and take off the waders at the end of the day their feet will be soft and supple:D
Guess long sleeves are coming out of the suitcase and short sleeves are going in.....

I know you what you mean about the long sleeves!! I just bought all new ones too!!! Figures!!! I just got done pulling all my capri pants out, and now it looks like I'll need shorts and a few trips to the tanning bed to knock this pasty whiteness off my legs!! lol

Interesting, isn't it, how that 15 day forecast changes on a DAILY basis---.

According to Accuweather, from Wed to Fri next week, each day has a chance of rain:mad: Hopefully they will be wrong. We've been to Orlando about 4 other times during Thanksgiving and never had a problem with rain.

We went last year and it was beautiful except for the last day. There was this huge black cloud coming to disneyworld and the temp dropped about 30 degrees and it started pouring. Of course, maybe it was warm from the 40 million people they crammed in the park. Nothing beats body heat.

I just checked Accuweather for Orlando and it showed lows like 30 degrees! I was thinking "what is going on here"! Usually I enter the zip, but this time I only entered "Orlando" - and it pulled up Orlando, WVa!!

Now, with the 70+ degree weather expected, we are going shopping for shorts today! Except for running shorts (or school uniform shorts!) I don't expect to find much!

Even here in South Louisiana, we really haven't had any cool weather so far - and still last night I couldn't find any shorts in the stores I went to!
