Thanksgiving Day at the parks?

Is this a high attendance day or a low attendance day? We coud always skip the parks that day if they are going to be packed. Also, are there any special events that day that make it more worthwhile (such as a parade)? Thanks!

We were at the MK, maybe 4-5 years ago, on Thanksgiving Day and it was CROWDED!! We left around 2, headed over the World Showcase. That was what I would call 'busy' but manageable. So my advice would be to stay away from the MK on that day.
